Muddco proudly announces the release of Easy Schedule, an app for Windows Phone 8
Easy Schedule is a free Windows Phone 8 app that simplifies entering calendar entries by remembering your information so you don't have to reenter it each time you create a new appointment.
It can be a LOT of work to use the standard calendar app to enter an appointment:
- First you enter the Subject, Location and Start Date & Time.
- Then select the length of the appointment or Custom.
- If you selected Custom you have to enter the End Date & Time.
- If you want a Reminder alert other than 15 minutes, you have to go to a new page and enter that.
- Then, when you go to enter another appointment, you have to do it all over again.
Easy Schedule has all of the input fields on one page, plus, it can remember all of your input from the last appointment. That way, when scheduling multiple appointments, such as your work week, all you need to do is change the date and you are done!
Features
- All input fields are on one page
- Options to remember the content of each field
- You can set which input fields to remember, or just say "All"
- Option to have the appointment's end date be automatically set to the start date
- Interfaces to the built in Calendar app so you can change Calendars, add Attendees, etc., before saving the appointment
You can view the Easy Schedule app page HERE.

Hello all,
my problem is related to Task & Appointments Reminder Popup that is the classic WM6.5 (sorry I don't have any picture).
BTW, when a reminder for appointment or task, popup on the screen, I can choose "snooze (5,10,30..... mins)" or Dismiss.
If I choose dismiss, the related reminder will never appear, but the task or the appointment are still on calendar.
Is there any way to change the action on reminder from Dismiss to Delete? Or at least from Dismiss to "Complete" (for task)....
I have a lot of task, meeting, and so on, and if I check the calendar I would like to see only the appointments or tasks not really done!
Ok, I know, I can choose view item and then delete, but could be more simple if I can press a button (like dismiss) and then delete the task/appointment.
Please help, I'm driving crazy!!!
Is there some way to change the tasks and appointments notification system behavior in WM? Mine is already tweaked for use the classic alert interface, instead of the HD2 default one, and which I can choose between several predefined options for delay the task reminder, but from my point of view, this is very unpractical, because, in most of cases, this predefined times are not the ones I need. Other think that annoys me a lot, is the behavior of this notification interface when I choose the option for edit the task -> if I edit the task and change the hour of the reminder for, let's say 2 hours later, after press the ok button, WM doesn't closes the notification (as it does if, I choose the "delete task" one); it remains opened, and if I push the the dismiss button all the changes maked in the edition will be lost.
Moreover, most of all PIM apps, like Agenda One, ThumbCal, an so forth, use this built in WM interface for throw it's alerts, so this apps, in some way become unusables too.
SO... The questions are:
1. Is there some way to change the WM behavior with the alerts?
2. Is there some way to via cab, registry hack or so, for to get a menu where you can choose a desired delayed time for the task, alert or appointment in a precise way?
3. Is there some way for auto-close the tasks alert popup after edit it?
Thanks in advance and sorry if I didn't express mysell better. English is no my home language.
So is not possible?
Guys,
I have my rooted Atrix running Launcher Pro - working just great. However, I'm trying to add a Shortcut to one of my Email accounts to the Home Screen - which I have done 100 times before with other Android devices....you click on Add Shortcut, select Email - and then it asks you which account you want the shortcut to go to - and you select it. Easy - BUT - it isn't working form me on the Atrix....even after a reboot post-adding the new email accounts. For the life of me - I can't seem to get this to work. When I go to Add Shortcut and select Applications, and then select "Email" - it goes to my Default account - and won't let me change it.
WTF? It's earliy on a Sunday morning and maybe my coffee hasn't kicked-in yet...granted...but what am I missing here? This is driving me batty!
Please help - thanks!
As far as i know this is how it works on all moto phones. There are 3 email shortcuts:
1. Default account
2. Messaging -> folder with all accounts
3. Gmail - Gmail push app
Maybe there is a 3rd party app, but I have not heard of one.
How do I set my calendar reminder to a default time of 1 hour? When I had my BB, I was able to set it and forget it. Right now on my phone, it's set to none and after every entry, I have to set it.
In other words, whenever my appointment is due, say like a doctor apt.at 1045. At 945, I would get a reminder. I don't want to have to do it for every entry. Is there a better way?
Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S2, using XDA App
If you're using your Google account to sync all your events between your phone and Google Calendar (on the web), there is an option in Google Calendar's web interface (go dig around in the settings menu) where you can set the default notification time for events.
If you've set specific notifications for individual events, changing the default time in Google Calendar will not change those individual events, however it will change the notification for all events without a notification already specified.
I have syncrhronized Honor 7 calendar with my laptop's (ASUS K93S, Windows 10) Google calendar. It works fine from laptop to Honor, but when I add something to Honor calendar, it will not appear in laptop's calendar. How to fix that?
When you add a new event to the calendar, you should see a button at the bottom of the page saying "More" (it might be hidden under your keyboard) - Tap that and there's a bit that says Account - tap that, and you can then choose which calendar to add the event to. By default it's the phone - select your Google account, and it should then sync the other way.

Click to collapse
That is near
Unhappily the "Account" does not open by clicking. It seems to be thus fixed to "Phone".
