hello,i'm a new guest and i'm sorry in advance for my low english
i'm already modding my htc evo 3D gsm and i've already try some rom and kernel,example: viper 3d,mwakious,cyanogenMOD,MIUI..
The rom that I prefer is the viper 3D,because i like his appearance,customization (statusbar,venom tweeks....) and it is very fluid and fast..
I used it with kernel anthrax with cpu 1.5 ghz and i haven't got problems,with the stock rom and kernel some game had slowdowns (lag) but now these games are perfect.
But the rom with sense 4.x (example the viper) have little bug and i bore,for example the character of message expands alone and i must restart the phone for have again the small character..
Also the 3D doesn't work (but this is a know problem) and then there are other little problems that i found..in short,these rom are not very stable,so i decided to return at 3.6 sense..
I've already see that in the section "development" there are a lot of rom sense 3.6,but i don't meet these..
I would like to have a rom with sense 3.6 that is similar at viper 3D for customization and fluidity,but above all stability..
Do you know some rom that are how i want?
I'm in s-off with juopunutbear and i've 4ext touch recovery.

Try Mwakious newest sense, you'll be very happy with it. And dl JiMz-Pac sstatus bar v3.0 and flash it via recovery

I already try mwakious last month,is there an ultimate version of the rom?
I don't like the version that I tryied,it's more similar at the stock rom,but if there is a new version I can try it for curiosity..
Do you know other valid rom?

A new update came out yesterday. You can also try stock looking CoolICS or highly themed Evolver. I used both of them and they are great

i vist the site of mwakious,but i don't know that link i must press,because there are 2 type of mwakious rom,there are mwakious3Drom and mwakious3Dtransformer,what is the difference?
3D is sense and transformer is AOSP. So you need 3D, not transformer

Just set up your accounts and you will get a notification about update. It´s OTA

OTA means Over The Air. You have an app called Update me. When you setup your accounts you will get a notification about update ( you must have wi-fi active). Dl update and install it. That wil change the update me app to OTA updater and then you´re all set, everything is automatic. As i already stated you must have wi-fi connection because files are pretty big and mobile internet network is not a good way to download ( it´s slow and very very expensive)

It's recomended to flash ICS firmware if you didn't flash it already

i've just flashed the mwakious3Drom Base and then i downloaded the last version from update me,than is the 16.2
Then i flashed it from recovery "install from zip" but when it started,it crash when i get up the lockscreen
i'm just see the coolICS rom and appear beautiful,do you like it?
It was great, but I wanted themed rom which is as smooth and fast and stabile as Coolexes. One more thing - stereoscopic 3d games don't work on Cool but work perfectly on Mwakious

Well if you don't mind 3.5 sense (no 4G or 3d gaming) mikrunny is odexed...

you could run tommytomatoe's odex script on any rom afaik.

another alternative which might suite your needs based on your OP:
my ROM hasn't been updated since 2.08 .. which I might be able to get to this week .. and its stock with root. Everything is stock odex.
[ROM] joeykrim-original-1.2.0 Odex *Stock Rooted 2.08.651.2*
Try inbREDed its an odexed ROM and its a beast

yea thats why i was looking for odex its alot smoother...
the Olympus Titan HD seems a great ROM but unfortunately it doesnt work on GSM...
can any one please port it or makes it run on gsm

Mauw why is there an need for an port? There are plenty off Sense 3.0 roms. Only interesting feature I finded in this rom is that they say usb host mode is working.
But usb host mode is something that works in some kernels and one kernel I know where usb host mode is working is AnthraX kernel.

i tried it and deleted the project.. cant fix the updater-script..
its waaay to complicated then you think..
the build.prop is easy..
jus change the first para..
not the whole to keep the tweaks..
import the settings.apk from leedroid as well..
i jus imported the vpn items from settings.apk of leedroid to optimus.. but i dont think there's much difference..
and rest is the usual.. use leedroid a pdf file for which files need to be replaced..
but thats not the hard part.. hard part is the updater-script..
create symlinks and stuff.. too long and complicated.. its not like a simple extract .zip to partition..

I'm working on this now (porting) seems easy enough i have ARHD by mike1986 working 98% just a couple of little niggles to iron out then i'll be rocking ARHD on my 3VO .

That ROM is completely outdated you'd be running it just for the name. It has almost no tweaks. I don't even think it has 7 in 1 shutdown menu

Which ROM is outdated ?!!!!!!!!
Its dev'd from the latest GB release so how is that outdated , but anyways its running 99% now just a few 4G files/menus toi remove and its done.
As for the question about a pdf file i didn't use any pdf file , trail and error trail and error.

I meant that the ROM is outdated because its missing all the newest features and nods because it was abandoned a long time ago.

U r right ... But it seems so great .. At all .. all the CDMA ROMs are Better than GSM ... thats why we neet to port

Make full wipe and try again. And remember sometimes boot can take up to 10 minutes.

i am s-on and i flashed the boot.img via fast boot but i think some thing wrong with the rom it self
I recall when I first got my Evo that there was some hooplah about how the phone handled links that caused HTC to change the software some to get it into customs. I've since rooted my phone and I remember seeing somewhere that the community had figured out how to change the software back to how it "should" be. Can anyone point me to that thread? Or post directions on how to do this?

Some Roms have included it like viper rom, after you flash the rom you have to flash it immediately, it's a separate zip, meanbean had it but the developer tool it out, I think omj has it too, not sure, cm10.1 does it the way it should be...

Unofficial CM 10.1 by kushdeck... Go to IIRC Channel #htc-evo - 4g-lte and you'll find what you need...
