My phone is Satsuma with firmware .587 and the Lupus Kernel and bootloader unlocked.. I am having problems installing MIUI Roms (except for one) despite the fact that I can install other Roms (like Octane or XPERIA NEXUS v3.5...). These are my results:
1. HASA MIUI (3.1.25 or 2.10.19 or 2.10.26) - I can go through the AROMA Installer but then Installation is pretty fast (like 1 second) and then when I reboot, i get stuck with the Lupus Logo.. I really tried following the Installation Instructions.
2. Pure MIUI 3.2.8 r2 - same result/problem as Hasa
3. ExMIUIv4 3.2.8 - install like normal (runs about a minute or so) then when I reboot, it goes to a boot loop between Lupus Logo and ExMIUI logo
4. MIUI Walkman Style 3.1.18 - the only MIUI Rom that installs and runs successfully
5. Serenity MIUI 3.1.18 - i did not bother trying because of the wifi problem on the user feedbacks
Now, does anybody else have problems installing other MIUI Roms? I really like to try others aside from the Walkman Style...
Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Hey, I folowed jjs guide for porting arc roms to ray. The rom is ics 4.0.4 fw 431 based. It requires stock kernel so the kernel cant be the problem. When i flash it with cwm then reboot. Bootanimation is ok. Then i see statusbar and pin request for 1 sec and then gray screen then it reboots. Here is logcat.
did you edited the framework ?

until now i have tried Camera Mod 4.7.2 Cyber-shot™ With HDR.
Now I want to flash a custom rom but i cant deside which one. i read this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2273748 but i cannot choose which one to choose. i want a lite rom with all garbage stuff removed,max battery perfomance and be stable. can you suggest one?

I suggest this ROM bro => Ultimate ROM V10 by Ashwin Prabunerurkar. Gave you Xperia Z and JellyBean experience...

mummydroid ics mod xperia s home launcher for gb roms is not working in feralab v28 rom..
but it works fine with other roms... (eg: x10s v9 rom)
as feralab v28 rom is the stablest and more reliable rom ever for x10i i can't change it..
while flashing mummydroid_homexperia-S.zip through fera kernel v11 recovery, it says error amend codes old codes...
Can any one (or) feralab (or) the mummydroid guys help me out with the working xperia s ics mod home launcher for feralab v28 0r v29 roms ???????

On the custom rom i have installed on my friend's xperia sola (ultimate rom v11 and munjeni kernel), I'm able to install instagram. However when I start the application it says that the camera is not supported.
Is this a kernel or rom issue? Or maybe there's another workaround knowing that instagram worked fine on stock ICS but without video support

- Now I am tired because I had installed Resurrection remix Lollipop smultron in my st15i xperia mini.
- And the is totally utter waste. - (problems - call not sent, camera not working , 5hrs battery life..... ohhhh god)
- I took nearly 1 month to install a custom Rom called smultron in my st15i and succesfully installed:good:
- After installation I came to know, that this OS is not used for everyday purpose....
So please kindly anybody help me.....
Hello. If you want a fast rom with everything working use Smultronic V5 with MESA kernel or Kappa kernel.
If you want functionality use xNXT 11.1 with MESA or Kappa kernel , sound on that rom is more than awesome.
If you want a very fast rom i would suggest Radium 4.0 rom with Doppler kernel. Haven't tested it because my XMP is not with me.
