Evo 3d using verizon coverage

Does anyone know if you can still get the Evo 3d using verizon coverage? I have no service at my job with sprint and wanted to know if this is still possible. Thanks

I dont think there is .. I haven't seen anything like it.. I dont think the phone can be compatible with Verizon.
Sorry
There is a force roam mod floating around here somewhere. You'd better be careful playing with stuff though, Sprint is getting pretty gung ho about offing contracts for too much data roaming.

This ^^^
You can force your phone to roam by using a verizon PRL but Sprint will drop you after awhile
Why not try and get an airave for your office?

0001 prl didnt work for me for some reason.

2nd both the airave and force roam app.
I would laugh if Sprint dropped me for roaming as I have 8 lines on my account plus the airave and have been with Sprint for over 10 years. (Ask the big three how laying off their customers is working out for them)
Try to make sure that you do not pay for the airave and make all the other Sprinters at work at least take you to lunch before you let them use it.

Like stated earlier, using the 00001 Verizon prl constantly is a bad idea if you want to stay with sprint.

The 1115 PRL is a Sprint PRL.
The only VZW PRL we can use on our phones is 0001.
Ok thanks

let's get the number of digits correct:
11115 - sprint prl
00001 - vrz prl

[Q ] what is your prl #

Hey guys I'm going to be getting the gs3 and it had the same radio technology at the evo lte (svdo )
I wanted to know what prl your phone is using??
I haven't seen the new evo to check it out.
I live in an area where sprint only has 1x so I use the 11115 prl and roam control to get 3g. I'm hoping that there is no change in prl's for this phone.
Thanks.

24004 is for corporate accounts. The 25004 is the "regular" PRL. You want the one you have .
Don't worry so much about it. PRLs oftentimes differ based on area and such. Some places get new PRLs faster, and some places just get different PRLs. A new PRL isn't a huge deal anyway, since they just decide how your phone roams.

Would it be possible for you to post 24004 for downloading?
Thanks!
I'm also 25004, and I'm in the Kansas City market area. LTE in 2 weeks!

Roaming problems.

I'm in an area with decent Verizon coverage and I force roaming and all I get is 0-1 bars of 1X. Is there a trick to getting 3G while roaming?
Sent from my EVO using xda premium
1. Don't do it.
2. No really, don't do it.
Sprint will give you a nice fat boot for Christmas if you try to force roaming.
Sent from my EVO using xda premium
You would need to flash a Verizon prl and like its been mentioned, not a good idea. Sprint throttles first, send a polite warning and then terminate if you continue to roam.
I was more talking a setting I'm in PA hunting and I know Verizon gets good service here. If we're supposed to be roaming on Verizon, why do I get nothing?

Like he said, you'll need to manually install a Verizon prl to do it But in all seriousness, I wouldn't try it... Once upon a time I tried a mod to force Verizon roaming on my old HTC Hero and promptly got a letter from Sprint less than a week later. It's just not a smart thing to do.

Believe I updated to 25014 and for my location it didn't make a difference. This is a location based update.

This is the first PRL that let me roam on LTE. The other ones support LTE but never worked for me.

Your not roaming on LTE but roaming on 1x while connected to sprint LTE. Its happened to me several times.
I got 4G in a new area where I'm at when I received that PRL. Pretty pumped about that.
There already is a PRL thread here... Lets keep talk in that one.
