None of the 3 packages listed here work at all... + all of them are different sizes which is really fishy...
When trying to install they just throw the error "There was an error parsing the package".

That one should work. It's pulled directly from my phone, it's version 14 though.

No, they're not all the same size, nor do any of these MD5 checksums match.
The apk starting with "de.trier.infsec" has it's own MD5 in the filename (which I double checked), i.e. db53f4c3cc2553f35c45d52a57e4908c
droidsheep-current.apk = 9722fdd6b1da8151635b992931fbd66a
droidsheep.apk (supposedly v15) = aec222945a7c54ea909ee987b37574a1
I was unable to download the one that's supposed to be v14 as box says the user is out of bandwidth.
Edit: I'm inclined to believe the post above mine is legit...
I emailed the developer a few days ago and asked him for the hashes. He has updated the website to include hashes. Here they are:
DroidSheep_15.apk
F0A647E720A5EDDCE04D95D0E4C4E2AD
DroidSheep_14.apk
DB53F4C3CC2553F35C45D52A57E4908C
DroidSheep_13.apk
9722FDD6B1DA8151635B992931FBD66A
You can see for yourself at his download site (http://droidsheep.de/?page_id=23).
So it looks like we've got a real v13 and v14 up in this thread.
v15 is available via Aptoide at http://m.tiagojpavan.store.aptoide.....infsec.koch.droidsheep/15/610362/DroidSheep [ROOT%20REQUIRED]
this apk of version 14 has the proper md5

After 3 days it said that it expired and made me downgrade to the light version. Cool launcher but it wreaked havoc on my phone and made it really slow.

Okay I've come to conclusion of rooting my phone so I can in install CyanogenMod 10.1. BUT I need your guy's help during the process. Here's some questions I need to ask.
On Q9, what does it mean to add lines on "hosts" file? Do you just rename the hosts file and add lines something like this? "_hosts_"
And for Q10, telling me to follow steps to 3 to 10. Does it mean I have to do it all over again? ..
Sorry for being uneducated about this, lol. I'm a noob and learning.
Sent from my LG-P769
So I've done some research... I have to unlock my BL first in order to flash to CM 10.1 ... Funny how unlocking BL for p769 is very difficult. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Sent from my LG-P769
I'm not trying to be mean but if you can't follow this rooting method you might not want to try cm-10. Try to root first and get comfortable with it.
The two questions refer to the offline fix method link that's in question 10

You are correct. You have to flash the Europe version p760 but in my opinion it not worth the hassle. Now about the host, you add those two lines at the end (the bottom)

You have to open the host file, with notepad, but! You need to open notepad as an administrator, right click on notepad and run as administrator. You add those two lines inside the host file at the very bottom

If you just right click on the host file and open with notepad, when you add the two lines at the bottom it won't save.

I know about the notepad but what I dont get is when it told me to "Now copy-paste following in "Open File" Box."
I think it's telling me to paste this "C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts" but paste to what, the Open File Box? What?
And I dont even know where to paste this
"127.0.0.1 csmg.lgmobile.com
127.0.0.1 csmgdl.lgmobile.com ", it said to paste it on the bottom of hosts file ? I opened the file but this showed up..

I'll upload them to photo bucket later.
But for now do this. Press the window button
Type "notepad"
When notepad pops up, right click it and select "Run as administrator"
Now click the FILE tab (at the top left corner) and select open
Now got to window/system32/drivers/etc
Once inside the area, everything will be blank. At the bottom click the text .txt, it should give you an option to show all , click it
Then you see the host file. Double click on it , then add those two line at the bottom inside (the host file)
Lol, this is only the beginning. But everyone must start somewhere
If you need anymore help, give me a holla

When you click on notepad you have tip open that file. So you paste the Windows address in the open file section to get to the hosts file then you paste the two strings at the bottom of the hosts file.

No, if it's your only phone. I don't recommend it. I lot of stuff can go wrong and, if you have to install the fastboot driver and etc.
Think of it like this, changing the host file is like a grain of sand, BUT installing the omap drive and flashing in fastboot (if something goes wrong) is a huge BOULDER. get my point. Master this first and do a lot more reading before doing anything else. Look at all the threads in the help section. Several things can go wrong, and you have to be prepared for all of them. :sly:
