I'd be more worried about it getring sense 5 than it getting Klp at this point.
Sent from my HTC6435LVW using xda app-developers app
In the end it doesn't really matter if we get klp or sense5 through official channels because they can always be ported by the community. Look at the hd2.

I'm sure someone will make a port of it so many months after lime pie is released. cyanogenmod has made it so many more devices can have new Andorid versions. I guess the answer to your questions is: most likely.
I think it will be our next and last update, maybe Q4 2013 or Q1 2014. Before the HTC Droid Mitrocondia comes out.
I'm afraid with the one coming out the DNA will be just forgotten about by HTC

HTC has already slotted the DNA for KLP upgrade after the announcement. Q3 was the last i read. as for being forgotten. 2 things are in the works. The Droid DNA is supposed to be "re-released" with the 1.7 quad processor and sdcard slot. The M7 is a Different variation of HTC phone. Gives users that don't want a 5" phone something a little smaller. After all, Android is all about personalization.

Droid Razr gets Jelly Bean update today while we still wonder if the Rezound is even on the list.
Sent from my ADR6425LVW using xda app-developers app
My forecast, the Rezound probably won't see jellybean officially. If that's what you're wanting to see I would get a different device. And by that I mean a device that already has jellybean.
Sent from my ADR6425LVW using xda premium
And HTC wonders why their profits fall as they forget about flagship phones, first 4G phone, first HD 720p phone, etc...if u can't keep those updated then why keep buying from your company? HTC better redesign their business model or bye bye. Even Motorola is only gonna slightly theme on top of Google updates so they can update within 3 months of a new release. I will protest against HTC by buying the new X phone by google and Motorola.
Sent from my ADR6425LVW using xda app-developers app
I think a lot of it is "why bother with Verizon phones?"
Verizon only cares about the popular phones. You can't blame them if they make money from it.
With the Bionic getting OTA 4.0 and Razr getting OTA 4.1.2 shows that HTC is slowly digging their own grave. They are always late or deliver an incomplete update that breaks something that needs and update to fix it. HTC flyer comes to mind....they broke it with update then simply walked away like a child who broke something acted like it never happened.

I disagree. I feel it's a fail on your part for even considering it will get Jelly Bean. Why are you so worried about what Motorola is doing when you have a HTC device?

Posts like these bother me. The phone got ICS months ago and now peopel are whining like little babies, "I WANT JELLY BEAN! HTC SUCKS!" HTC IS FAILING!"
To be honest I probably won't get another HTC device in 2013 when I upgrade, but I'm not whining about my Rezound either. I paid a mere $60 for it 3 months after it was released.
I will laugh at the naysayers and whiners **WHEN** we get official JB OTA.

I don't think the Rezound was meant to be a flagship in HTC and Verizon's eyes. It was just a device to have something to sell near the holidays and was never too popular sadly.

If this is how u feel then why ever update the phone past what it comes equipped with. You are missing the entire point I was trying to make. This is hands down a better device than the Razr but is being held back by HTC that would rather build new phones than update them. My last 3 phone have been HTC, my next will be the X phone. If my thread bothers u so much to bad, it was a news update and opinion from me, we still have free speech....for now anyways.

The thunderbolt is the first phone on Verizon that has svdo which let's you talk and surf the internet at the same time even on 3g data. HTC and Verizon have both been protecting this technology by keeping sources closed indefinitely on the radio software for one. Since a lot of the sources are closed devs don't have interest in finding hacks and workarounds to deal with the lack of source. That's why a lot of the devs left this device. Even still though we have official ics and in a few months we should have the sources we need to build custom kernels that are needed for making a jb from.

Well holy crap. That halo is like so convenient. It multitasks and does everything notification wise.
I have a Nexus 4 and use PA as my main driver. Its the only redeeming quality of having a Nexus device, full support. I hang on shred of hope G2X can get Radio working on CM10.1 and Amaze get all it's bugs ironed out from HTC sources release. I don't know why they couldn't do what was done with HTC Sensation, that device has support up to the sky.
I love my old devices. Nostalgia. I bought a Sensation and going to unlock boot, flash, S=OFF, and all that good stuff then I will give it to my cousins who's been asking for an Adroid phone. Still on the fence if to part ways with the Sensation or the Amaze.

Definitely. If "Guaranteed by x date" Means, you'll get it a year after you've moved onto your next phone (My thunderbolt getting ICS), then I would bet that "Strong possibility" means "We're too afraid to tell you we don't give a crap about DNA users anymore."
It's almost as if these HTC execs or whatever are taunting the owners. Lol. First it was 4.3 by the end of Sept. Then it was 4.2 and Sense 5 by the end of Sept. Then it was by the end of the year. Now there saying maybe 4.3, or even 4.4.
This is just rude.
They will probably have it submitted to Verizon by the end of the year and Verizon will test it for 2 more years.

Can't wait till Verizon releasess KitKat for the Droid.!!! Phone can deffinatley run it with zero issues with it on KitKat now.
Of course VZW is always a bit on the slow side of approving...
I think what vzw was/is doing is updating all their other newer devices first (to get people to upgrade) before they roll out the updates to us older phone
This is just what it seems to me now that they have worked on the other HTC devices we are hopefully next unless another device comes along
