My Phone is Sony Ericssion Xperia Go, I had android 2.3, while updating with latest s/w update 4.0.something, I just disconnected the phone in between, now when again I try to switch on the phone.. it doesn`t switch on, shows triangle with exclamation sign
I have tried the hard reset but it doesn't work!!!
Any suggestions?

Thanks for the previous instruction but I am facing 2 main problems:
1- Downloading the ftf file
2- I have downloaded another one but slightly different size, but I got the message in the attachment

Hay guys. One of my friend got bricked x10i. I don't know how that phone bricked. He sent me to recover it. When I try to turn that phone its just vibrate and green led light flash for two second nothing else, any one have any idea to unbrick this phone? If you use Sony Update Service, you don't need ftf file. It is all automatic.

Mate, u should relock your bootloader for safety, then u flash stock kernel then u repair USE SEUS = "Sony Ericsson Update Services".
Using Custom Kernel will bricked !!
As a simple answer, you should restore firm kernel and Repair USE SEUS HOpe helped.

Not Wrong Mate
I reflashed just stock firmware, without any reflashing stock kernel, or relocking bootloader numerous times. Always done it with SEUS.

Hi sir, do you have time? I cant figure out what is wrong with my x10. When i try to flash those Generic Stock Rom, i get to have errors flashing. It aborts sometime when flashing system.sin and other sin depending on the tft file... i dunno what version my phone is but my pc detects it with flashmode. When im using Seus, it fails flashing in about 90% of the process... when booting my phone, just a quick vibrate with green flashes once. Do u have skype account? Hope u have time and can help me. Go into Xperia Sola development section (you have sola, right?), there you find threads like [ICS][FTF] Official ftf... you can flash it without root - using flashtool - you will get unofficial official update.

You will get newest update if you follow these instructions (and if you download the right .ftf).
You DON'T NEED root for this.

@Ghost- this process can work without root
This will install latest os within a matter of seconds
Make sure u download latest ftf
U will loose warranty if the si number dun match

i m updating my sola firmware from its official updator it downloads 360mb file &
time of firmware installation its get disconnected during my pc shuts off...
now its only give me the welcome screen writtin, SONY.. it didnt starts or not take the reinstall option..

if yes use flashtool to install it...if no then download Sony updater from the official site and update it again.

Well,it is said that before installing any custom rom,always look for the availability of your region's stock ROM.Many of us don't and end up installing old firmware and then updating to the new one.
I had the same experience,there was no availability of .54 indian firmware for my Xperia Sola,searched XDA but to no avail.I only found one SEUS dump for .54 firmware,which i didn't knew how to use.So,i just made a FTF file using the files provided by Sony PC companion using Flashtool.

No,the arabic language is not available in the language settings list.Instead use locale select app from the market to get it.

you have to place the file in firmware folder where flashtool is installed..........
yea its there in the firmwares folder in flashtool directory.. :/

Hmm..its strange it should have been detected.I myself have flashed this a number of times.
May be you have changed the extension of the file by mistake while renaming.If its not the case,just uninstall your flashtool and reinstall it.then remove any other ftf placed inside the firmware folder,place the downloaded Xperia Sola Stock Ics 6.1.1.B.1.54 [Indian-Asia] FTF.ftf inside the firmware folder.Then start flashtool,remove the USB cable if connected,switch off your phone,press vol. up button and insert usb cable keeping the vol up pressed,once it is detected by flashtool,release vol up button.then press harry potter's forehead sign,i mean thunderflash sign,don't change anything in it(make sure its on falshmode) and press OK.Then select the firmware as Xperia Sola(MT27) and press ok,flashtool will take some time to unpack ftf in memory,then flashtool will popup some sort of banner saying remove your usb cable etc.etc...just remove the USB cable from the phone,then press vol. down button,while keeping it pressed insert USB cable,let it be detected by flashtool,then it will start flashing firmware to your phone.DO NOT REMOVE THE USB CABLE UNTIL IT FINISHES FLASHING.Congratulation you have installed the .54 firmware on your sola.
P.S After installing flashtool,install drivers for your phone,fastbootmode and flashmode.
and if you need to root your phone after flashing .54 firmware.Just flash .10 kernel in the same method,root via Bin4ry's method,then flash .54 kernel.

Bro..it is an ftf file which can be flashed using flashtool.This isn't a rom.This is the stock ics file.The procedure to flash it is given it the above post.

So, i cant download it from your post again. if u know the procedure of making FTF from above mentioned ROM plz share it so that i can flash it via flashtool. Thanks for reply.....

Sorry bro..can't tell anything about that,but if it has ftf extension,you can try placing in the firmware folder of flashtool and flash it.

Does the other files have .sin extension?If yes..Then try putting the file(archive) in the firmware folder and see if flashtool detects it as a flashable file.

My Xperia sola is currently stuck at the sony logo. This is because:
I installed the jellybean custom rom and forgot to make a backup. I didn't like the jellybean and wanted to return the phone back to its original state but I didn't have a backup of it.
So i flashed the kernels 6.1.1.B.1.54 and 6.1.1.B.1.10 thinking that then I could plug in my phone and repair it using Sony Pc companion and revert it back to its original state but it won't even appear in Sony Pc Companion because the phone keeps turning on and off.
What can be done?
If u hav a flashtool then just flash the stock ics ftf file and then u have your working phone!!

You have unlocked the bootloader!! Sony pcc won't recognise you're device!! You need to lock you're bootloader to repair your mobile via pcc!! Just flash some ics ftf to have a working device!!

Okay I've locked the bootloader but before that I flashed the kernels again and whenever I open my phone it keeps restarting with the sony logo and I can't get into pcc to repair it. Is there another way to repair it when its in flash mode or something?:

wich kernel did u flashed this usually happens when u have kernel/rom incompatibility
and if u use flashtool with ics ftf it should work...as not a noob said! maybe u did somthing wrong with this flash..
wich items are checked in flashtool when u flash ftf??? (kernel and rom ...those boxes)
I'm sure i have this problem with my xperia p... ROM/kernel incompatibility... how do i solve it...
Just use flastool. Download tft and flash it. You'll be ok.
