Hello guys,
I'm looking for an app which will allow my to use my Galaxy S3 as a keyboard/mouse for my Nexus10.
I've already seen a few app which doesn't work well on Android 4.2.2
Do you know by any chance an app working on Android 4.2.2/4.1.2?

Google now doesn't fully work with S3, it requires the Jellybean frame work. A hacked version is floating around the forum but doesn't support voice commands and doesn't look like it going to work anytime soon.

that JB's voice doesn't work but you can still use the older google voice. Yet to try it.

Me too. I had actually thought that the samsung keyboard was what came with android when I tried it in the shop but bought a nexus 10 thinking it's a better tab (well technically it is). Alternatively is there a keyboard that does handwriting as well as the samsung keyboard?

I had the galaxy note 10.1 at first but herd the nexus 10 was better. I miss the keyboard so I search all over looking for a apk file of the keyboard but came up empty. I know somebody can figure out this. Just need more people to help.
PS. I don't know a keyboard that's good with handwriting

I don't know if it's quite what you're looking for, but have you tried the ”PC Keyboard” layout in Android keyboard settings? It has slightly smaller keys than the normal keyboard layout, but maps a US style PC keyboard almost exactly including shift, tab and a full number row always on top...
screenie attached (subject to XDA's horrible PNG to JPG conversion)

the galaxy note 10.1 keyboard is something in the Touchwizz Framework there should be a release of 4.2.1/4.2.2 for GNote 10.1.
if they release it i will try to port the whole rom ( so full note 10.1 mode like multiwindow and stuff ) or port the keyboard if i find how to port one app ........

Wow that would be amazing if you can do that. How can we get notified if you manage to do this?

Do you have any clue if ink effect from Galaxy note II can be ported to the Nexus 10? As it's been ported to Galaxy S III (but I guess that's also something with the touchwiz?)

Is there any 4.2.2 ROM has the S-Pen apps?
I'm looking for away to install them, but I didn't find something useful!

Thanks in advance

Not possible ..... Use gnote app
[]D [] []V[] []D RoOt - BeEr
You won't be able to install them even if you have the app .apk because these s-apps are touchwiz interface based and the 4.2.2 are AOSP, which is without Samsung "improvements".
Several of the 4.2.2 ROMs in the development sections have stylus gestures enabled, so if you really want JellyBean but also want to use the Spen, then flash one of those ROMs and use either Memo or Gnote for your note taking app. You can then set up the stylus gestures to open the note taking app with a stylus double tap.

The S-Planner is a samsung app based on the touchwiz framework as part of the stock rom. the only way i know how to get it is by unsing a stock rom. I too tried looking for it when i had first installed the unofficial AOPK rom for my note 2, when I learnt of this.
Its called Sec_Calendar_NAmerica_SPen.apk.
If you have a backup or a rom saved that had it you can pull it off that and move to system then change permission. If not I can get it for you just let me know.

If you can't find S-Planner, then I find this a very good replacement:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.calendar
It is a device version of the Google Calendar on the web.
This is the Sketchbook app made specifically for the Note 4. Thanks to @Conito11 for the original share!:good:
Anyways, I wanted this for my Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet, so...here's another app for the App & Themes section
I can't post the apk, but it's on the Samsung Apps store. Look for Sketchbook for Galaxy. Tgats, the one that came with the 10.1 (2014), which I also have.
calebcabob said:
I'm just looking for the stock apk of Sketchbook Pro which is different from the one available in Play Store (at least I'm 99% sure). My Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) came with an exclusive version of Sketchbook, so I only assume the same is the case for the Note 4...and with a newer version...?
If someone can share the apk here, I will then test it on a non-Samsung device and if it works, I will change this post to make the app available from OP...with credit to you of course.
Thanks for your help!
...you know who you are

Hey, thanks a lot!! :good:
10x alot
Recently, when I try to launch the app, it asks me if I want to update the app and if I say yes, it loops and installation that never ends...
Is there a new version ? Does anyone have the new apk ?
The Sketchbook Pro was dropped like a year ago. It's replaced by the free Play Store version. This one is barebones and lacks a lot of options but if you buy the pack available in Sketchbook's store It will have the same features as the Sketchbook Pro. The main differences are a brand new UI and the posibility to rotate the canvas at any desired position.
