Hello everyone,
recently i am having this issue with the keypad, while i am texting, sometimes letter 'a' or the 'backspace'
or the numeric keys toggle button just dont respond, i have to repeatedly tap it to get active..
but when i change the keypad to Xperia Japenese (with eng buttons) it seems more OK..
Please help me, with this issue as this was not there before, and its just anoying me.
Though nt a permanent solution bt I faced the very same on Xperia premium v4 (custom Rom)
So flashed the stock ftf n everything ws wrking fine!!
U cn use swift keyboard!!
Or other keypads if prob persists!!

oki, now i repaired with SUS, but now its somewhat ok, still the 'a' key and backspace have little trouble, i'll try swift keyboard though and see, thanks for the advice..
is there any way to calibrate my lcd screen
here's my problem, please help me..

Today.. I am taking pictures work great! Fast and clear.. I decided to make video recording using my lww wt19i. After pressing the shutter botton my screen hang ang a pop up message said. "camera not available" please help.
The last mod i install to my device is from this thread..

This can happend for example when is diode on by other app. Do you just try restart?

i found out that even still camera is hang up.. sometimes..
i am reverting back my phone now to GB.. i dont like ics and being rooted.. thers so many bugs i found.
There is many mods versions. Which one you use? I now install version 6 and works normal. IMO i dont see nothing big bug for me in ics.

I'm on stock ics and I do think though that it IS A BUG caused by your mods, not the stock

i dont have any modes done to my camera.. the last mod i install is a toolbar from a thread.. i read the whole tread but nothing comments that their camera hang up..
i am on gb now and everything els works fine..
So read it again. On 13.6 tony.cool write about same bug and fixed mod work for him.

Hi,
I'm running the Hasa MIUI 2.9.7 rom on my sk17i with locked bootloader. Really like the rom, no real issues found.
Except that I can't change the hardware keyboard layout of my mini pro.
It's a Belgian Mini Pro, so with azerty, but when I change /system/usr/keyboard-config/keyprint.xml and reboot, it just stays qwerty.
Can someone help me out?
Do you have the azerty.xml in the layouts folder?
I did it the other way around on stock (I'm used to qwerty) and it worked perfectly.

I have it, but indeed, perhaps it's a faulty one.
I'll replace it with an older version.
EDIT: replaced azerty one, even replaced qwerty-en.xml and qwerty-jp.xml by an azerty config, but to no avail???
I have the fix guys....dont worry...waiting for someone's permission to post it.asap

backup ur rom just in case, install it ,set the brightness to below the half and flash a light source into ur sensor and the results are pretty obvious, restore ur backup if u don't like the new als, tried on my xperia mini pro sk17i and it worked, dunno about lww ...

I'm using cm7 unlocked bootloader on st15i(xperia mini) is this work on mini or just mini pro?
This mod isn't working properly onvstovk ice.dosent react properly to daylight

i wiped the dalvik-cache and after that i got no problems with the backlight of the key or else on my XMP

The backlight is very bright compared to stock

it should be working on most roms as far as it seems, try it for urself guys, just backup ur rom first if u don't like what u see

it automatically sets ur screen brightness according to ur surrounding light background, we already have this , flash a torch on ur sensor u'll see the screen's brightness increase/dim a bit accordingly, but this is a bit more responsive than stock one

Sometimes when I press the lock/unlock button the screen don't show up it kept black but I can unlock my phone using slide gesture which means the touch works only the screen kept black. Any way to resolve this issue?

If custom rom then may be a bug or Sleep death bug.. lol

If you are on stock ROM try with SEUS repair or hard reset.

Same Issue on Xperia U. Tried repairing via SUS. No luck. Also many users are having this strange issue on different xperia hand-sets. Same issue like there was before regarding touch not working properly.
As the Topic Name says, Home button doed not work on ICP ROM On my Xperia Neo V.

Yes rom doesnt hav music app. U cn download any player frm playstore. Are u sure its nt a hardware fault? If home button is workin in wakin up screen then reflash rom! Even I had that prob on another rom! Reflash rom if u think its nt a hardware fault

It's not a hardware fault! I can wake screen by pressing home. Reflashed with no success.

NO Other issues.
Menu and Back Button work fine.
Home button works to wake screen, it does not work like home button.
Also, now the lock screen stopped showing. it directly unlocks if i press the Power button.
Better to Change ROM....

Try this once... Just takes five minutes... forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1246439...i had this problem once when I had done a factory reset in stock rom...

5. IMPORTANT. copy the fix.sh (it's a script) to the ROOT of the phone. not /sdcard, but ROOT
6. just click on the fix.sh and select "excute) and the script will run and you will see output saying (done, reboot) or something.
I didn't understand this part! Help?
The root of the phone is the place where /system us located right? I cannot paste any file there!!
And when I click on fix.sh it says no application can preform this action. Please help!

I used the OP's Method, pasted the code into terminal emu.
