How to slow down led notification speed in FXP CM10?
I'm using lww with fxp cm10 207, lupus jb v3 kernel.
Every time my phone has an notification, led is blink very fast and i think it'll make battery drain faster. In setting, i only see color choose, not led flash rate.
So plz show me how to slow it down.
Ps: i changed also pulse rate and speed but it didn't change, still very fast, about 2 times a second

When you set a new color, then you can set pulse length and speed. I'm using currently cm10.1 on my ray, but in lww must be the same.

Even When I Turned off bravia engine its still 70-80%. i keep brightness to 70%, because below 70% its not visible!
display is the biggest battery eater,so it's normal. bravia engine is none about brightness
70% its not visible? 50% will be enough for me in general
decrase time after lock
use 50%
turn off bravia engine
Wait, wait, wait... first of all it's not using 70-80% of battery. It's 70-80% of battery usage. If there is nothing else running except display and OS you'll get about 90% of usage for display because it is using more battery at the moment than OS itself.

Hi,
If you see gsmarena Neo Review( and Neo V review),it seems that the sensor is always off ( unlike Neo V- check the section that they measure screen contrast ratio) ,and they couldn't find a way to enable it!

I read the review, too, but they said that they didn't have the final product to test so it was disabled by default and they couldn't enable it... On all final products it should be working perfectly.

deleting a folder that contains images will make all other images disappear (empty gallery)....the only way to get back the all images is to reboot your devices....
one bug that frustrates me that I encountered is I can't connect to my home Wifi. It perpetually loops trying to authenticate my connection using Wap settings on my router.

For XU LED is not fixed!
Waiting!
Huh?
Wait, so the LED bar wont even turn on now? For FXP-201? Was supposed to get CM9.1 FXP-201 today... but I love the LED bar. And its notification. (Dunno if notifications still work for stuff like FB/WhatsApp /Message etc.)
aa
yeah fxp201 led bar error...its white led bar always stays on when we touch,,,so boringggg
i used miui led bar off metohd to disable the LED forever :crying:
I´ve been trying do disable the soft keys backlight.
Right now i'm using the Soft Buttons Light app to permanently disable the leds, but i rather change the led brightness values on the files, than using an app that consumes ram.
Changing the values is possible, and after an extensive search for a solution for xperia p, i've only found a solution here on the forum for other xperia phones, because on the xperia p the files are a bit different.
Still, i've tried to change the values, but i can't. I've figured out that there are 3 folders that control the 3 leds on the transparent bar, so i have to change the values on all of them. Those folders are "so34-led0", "so34-led1" and "so34-led2", on "/sys/class/leds/".On the max_brightness file, using ES File Explorer, after changing the value, while saving, an error ocurs, i save it anyway, but when i check it, the previous value is still there. Using Root Explorer, a .bak file is saved (and i don't know where, because i can't find it) and the original file remains with the original value.
Has anyone did it? Or knows how to do it?
Take a look at this thread
Control Led Brightness
That is the correct way to go about it, in my opinion Modifying the value during boottime itself is the best way to go

Thanks, but i've already seen that thread, and a solution for the xperia p wasn't found there, only for other xperia phones. The lines on the xperia p are quite different.
They are:
echo 0,51,251,511,851 >$dev/button_min_vals
echo 50,250,510,850,5000 >$dev/button_max_vals
And i don't have a clue how to change them =/
Anyone?
So if I read correctly, you want to permanently disable your led bar? If so, using root explorer and go to
System/lib/hw and rename lights.st-ericsson.so like add an extra o or something. Then reboot

ilumination bar
i was having the same issue, and the best way to disable the led, was with the app "ilumination bar", go to theme led, set all values to the left and save, its consume very low ram, and is the best aplication to control leds, you can disable theme led, but it can stay enable to notify missed calls, sms, etc..give it a try.

Thanks, that finally worked Sadly, it REALLY diasables all the lights, even the notification led on the top of the phone. I would like to keep the green light when it's charged, but maybe it is for the best, less lights to consume the battery. Its just leds, they wouldn't consume much i think, but it still does some battery consumption.
Thanks a lot mate

It might be a great app, but the idea was to avoid the need of an app. I already have one that does it, but i prefer to deal wih the issue on the source instead of having to depend on an unnecessary application.

UPDATE:
This is not the right thing to do. It solved the leds problem but created another.
It is not noticible on daylight, only on low-light. The screen does not become fully off when the phone is locked!
It can be seen that the screen is still lit. Like it's displaying a full black image. I reversed it by renaming the file as it was before.
Now i'm back at square one.
Bump.
I'm also looking for a way to do this. Any solutions? The apps simply don't work for me

I have JB and what do you mean init.d? The file? Or like an application?
Is there a way to do it with init.d?
