Hey guys,
i am running Cyanogenmod 10.1 since yesterday.
I wanted to resync my contacts with my phone from the software MyPhoneExplorer (a great tool by the way).
I synced it after having some trouble because of the new usb debugging security policy of Android 4.2.2 and all the contacts...suddenly were in my google account.
I would never ever want that to happen. I deleted them all online via my browser.
Afterwards i tried to create a contact ON my phone, but i could only choose to create it for my google account.
Any idea what i am doing wrong?
Is this a bug in 10.1 maybe?
Greetings

Hello everyone!
Recently, I decided to finally root my phone and install a custom rom on it. So far, my experience with slade87's MiniCM has been great... But I have come to miss Sony Ericsson's Sync app. Is there any way to install it on a custom rom?
I have already tried installing the .apk from an unmodded phone, but the program refuses to open; and also checked other posts in this forum. Unfortunately, the only solution seems to be using Google to sync contacts with the phone.
I know, there's nothing wrong with Google Contacts, but I got used to SE Sync already, and in a more practical note, I don't want these contacts to merge with the ones in my Google account.
Thanks in advance.

I want this feature too!
If you don't mind you can use My Phone Explorer
My Phone Explorer
and you need the client for your phone when you use it. try it and see
Hi,
I have the Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830. Android 2.3.3.
The phone is synched with Google contacts in my Google account.
When I make changes to a contact on the phone the change is erased by the next account sync ( it is overwritten by the older information held on the google contacts server ).
Can anyone advise how this may be fixed ?
Thank you
Hey everyone,
On my nexus 5 i have multiboot installed, use it to try different operating systems. This morning I was a moron and accidentally installed CM11 M6 on TOP of stock :S
Surprisingly it works and no apps lost, however google keep notes since december are now gone, they must not have been syncing.
Any way to restore these notes ? anyone know where they are stored locally? (tried looking on the online app and deleted and archived notes, no luck)
Databases which are locally stored are usually found inside data/data/(app package name)/databases in the form of ".db" files.
Hi everyone,
My father has a phone - Navon Mizu M450 - with absolutely no modifications applied since it was puchased (was not routed, etc.). It fell of from a desk and its screen is completely broken. Is there any way to backup the contacts from it? There was no google sync set up, so the contacts were saved to the phone memory. When I connect the phone to the computer, the content of the internal storage is coming up via MTP. This way I was able to backup all the photos from that, but I am struggling with the contacts.
Do you have any idea how I could do it? I searched a lot on google and it seems only malicious applications are listed with various names.
Android version: 4.4.2 KitKat
Thank you in advance for all your answers.
Hi, noob question. Is there any app that can transfer google accounts to other device ? Similar to Phone Clone app but I think it can transfer files only. Because I just bought a new phone and I already transfer my files from my old phone to my new one. My problem is I forgot the password one of my gmail account in the old phone. I need opinions or recommendations from android expert here. I am also newbie here. And sorry if there is an error on my english. Thank you in advance
