Upload hero now work on wifi with phony set on lynux with firefox. Can somone know a way to have fake wifi on 3g/4g?

Hello all,
i have a weird problem regarding wifi.....
when i scan i get all wifi networks available but not the one which i routed in my laptop in windows 7, but same routed network i get in another cell STAR II..
How can i sort this problem?

I have a similar problem on my ace.
When I connect wifi and I try to watch a video on YouTube for example, It says that there is a problem with the network..
But if I then use google maps, it works pretty good.. Wifi only works with Google map in my ACE..

Hi, I was wondering with the Photon rooted and the Wifi Tether app installed could I activate and disable the tethering feature with the app Tasker with no screen shown?
I used to have my EVO configured with CM7 turn bluetooth and wifi tether on and off when in my car dock. I am trying to replicate that with my Photon.
Apparently not lol .. Anyone know of another wifi tether app that would be compatible with Tasker? thanks!

Thanks for the reply however I wasnt asking about how to get just wifi tether.. I was asking about how to get tasker working with the wifi tether app.. I did locate what I needed. Figure I would share it here in case anyone else wanted it:

I travel alot with work and alot of guys have the skype wifi app for the Iphone.
Im wondering if nayone knows of something that works in the same fashion for android

i believe you can use skype for android but i don`t know about the wifi version i have skype on my galaxy and i can use it to talk to friends when i have acces to a hot spot in town

Which device do you have? Do you run a custom ROM?
There are a lot of apps. Search for tethering in the Play Store.

Can I Delete forever hotspot options with my tablet? Or how stoped sharing wifi signal for anything smartphones..
I want wifi on tablet and its ok this. But i dont want hotspot for any smartphone..
Tablet is designed for companies in the business. But ppl wifi taken on your smartphone..

Uhm... system settings --> Wireless & Networks/More --> Tethering & portable hotspot --> Uncheck "portable wifi hotspot" and/or use the SETUP button to establish a wpa2 password on it.
