[Q] AOKP-Build4-CM10 for a noob!

Hey all. I'm newbie. I use this phone sgs2 for 1 year. I see this AOKP Build 4 CM10 and I wanted to install.
I never root my phone before and always use stock rom. (Now it's 4.0.3)
I learned my kernel version(CF-Root v5.4 - I9100XWLP7/LP8/LP9) and root'ed it with odin.
My supersu and cwm is installed and working.
Downloaded the zip file for AOKP CM10 and learned how i will flash it but i have some questions now.
1.) What is this "efs backup" stuff??? Is this necessary??
2.) I bought a Navigation App, will i lost it?? or how i keep it?
3.) May I install this room over my 4.0.3 I9100XWLP7 root'ed stock rom??
4.) May I get a backup before install this cm10 rom?
1.) What is this "efs backup" stuff??? Is this necessary?? Yes
2.) I bought a Navigation App, will i lost it?? or how i keep it? not if you backup data using titanium backup first
3.) May I install this room over my 4.0.3 I9100XWLP7 root'ed stock rom?? Definately not you must wipe delvik cache, cache and and somethingels
4.) May I get a backup before install this cm10 rom? Yes backup everything efs app data first if a rom messes up this is your savior
1. EFS is a partition which contains information about phone such as IMEI, S/N. It would be good if you make its backup.
2. No. You will need to reinstall it from Google Play.
3. Yes. After flashing custom ROM you will need to do a factory reset. So backup your contacts and SMS first.
4. Yes, in CWM: backup and restore > backup to external (or internal) sdcard.
sooo, if the efs partition is necessary. Is that CWM Backup getting it?
Now I just need 1. Backup for apps(titanium backup) 2. Backup for efs and rom(that i used) (CWM Backup)
Am I Clear ?
just to be sure download ktool from playstore and make a second backup then it separated should you need to restore.

TWRP install custom rom

Do I just go into TWRP/install/choose zip file?
I made a nandroid backup with EFS/Modem backed up as well. If I don't like this rom, just restore everything minus the modem/efs, right?

[Q] Nandroid and CWM Recovery

Hi, i'm using CM 4.3 ROM from percy and i wanna do some backups, so i installed Nandroid Manager, then it asked me to select my clockworkmod folder for saving backups, so i navigate it (/sdcard0/clockworkmod/) ... but when i selected it nandroid says "Invalid Path! You must select your TWRP or CWM recovery folder" ... which i actually do so i don't know where the problem should be.
Appreciate your help!

Backup rom

I want to ask you about one thing. It is possible to backup current whole rom with installed apps and settings and make it zip file that it is possible to future restore by flashing rom like a custom rom in TWRP?
My phone: Lenovo k3 note (rooted)
I greet from Poland – Europe,
Sylwek
yep you can do all of the above, it will backup even the files (photos, videos...) on your device storage and give you a flashable zip that you can restore after and you will get EVRYTHING back to your phone, it's called a NANDROID Backup ... you can do it with a custom recovery such as TWRP indeed

Backup & Restore multiboot roms
