Look on Amazon. It's got loads of cheap Chinese phones. Some very good. Be VERY CAREFUL of pressing "factory reset ".I lost my imei numbers this way. Got a nice paperweight.

So after spending MONTHS trying to train my wife to be an android lover. One of her clients GAVE her an iPhone and now she's sold out. Fine. Not a big deal ...because I HATE the iPhone...I am a firm believer that over all the android is a better phone . But its hard to make that point..when she's holding the iPhone 4 and I'm holding my LG p509. Okay, I do have to disagree with you just a bit. You see, even as a true Android lover, you can't say things like "Android is superior in all ways." Honestly, iPhone sales are not decreasing. Many people I know still enjoy using their iPhone because they find it simple. These people can't be bothered about what overclocking is and they already feel a great sense of accomplishment with Cydia installed on their iPhones
Here's just my 2¢ on what you should be looking out for your new phone. Firstly, you should get a phone with at least a dual core processor (powerful huh? Wait till you see phones running quad core ). Secondly, you would want a phone with a larger screen display. Let's be honest here. O1 is a very good phone (my first android phone) and I love it. However, I am unable to enjoy fully games such as GTA3. Lastly, since you're such an Android lover, do checkout the xda development page for your future phone. Surely you'd want a phone that is constantly being developed by a pro active community?

It's mobile world Congress if I'm not wrong. You should be waiting a while more, since Samsung promised to release phones with better battery life this year. Seems promising and I would wait and see if I were you and if I wasn't in a hurry to get a new phone

I think that motorola have 1 new phone with high-end spec, high mAh of battery, and also good style/good looking android phone.. as i read on google they(the writter of article) said its sold with low price with their spec(also i don't know it sold with bundle or not) 300-400 USD.

Get a phone that is exactly what you want.forget the specs.forget the media propaganda.find a phone that is the right size.is fast enough and dose what you want it to. The reason I phone users are so happy with their phone is that they are all the same.there is nothing that is different or even slightly special from any other iPhone.everything works the same and there is no chance of some individuality might cause a problem.

hi there mate, thank you for posting this as i have been in the same connundrum over the past few months.the things that concerns me when choosing a new phone are:1. unlocked bootloader as some phones shipped with locked bootloaders. this cannot be a good indication for future developments on the platform. 2. wheter or not the phone has a strong developer community support. i see this as an important feature to ensure that my mew phone would be able to stay fresh for at least the next 18 months.to be honest, i was so close to ditching my optimus one last month, having had the phone as my trusty companion for over a year. but the recent development in cm9 port for our phone (time and time again, the optimus one dev community has never failed to surprise me) had allowed me to stick with the phone for atleast another couple of months, enough time to see whats in store for us after wmc.
Btw , have u tried selling your two o1s on eBay?
The iPhone sucks at price, the only nice thing about it are the animations, you can take a phone with 2x the specs of iPhone woth half price

I have decided to get a Nexus One
I have no money but i don't want to stick with Optimus One either. I found a nexus one for 100.99 USD(less than what I paid for in the optimus one)
It has pretty decent specs and will last me another few years
It has been a pleasure being in this community. I will probably keep my Optimus One and I still might stick around for a few days(amazon super saver shipping takes 10 days to arrive)

I want a HTC phone... because thats the only way I will get a fully featured sense port
I want to try sense 3.5
If i like it then i might not even move to JB or ICS
and I need unlocked phone. I use T-Mobile USA. it needs to support 1700 mhz too
nexus will last me longer until I save enough money for another phone(maybe nexus 5. it should be cheaper by the time i save enough money to buy it)
and $100 usd for a referbished is a good deal. I can gurantee that there aren't any screen cracks, button issues etc(anything can happen with used)

Lg is good. My first droid was optimus net which is still working good. Also op g has build quality. Looks. Performance. I am not a brand hater or brain washed by sammy.

Just go with your feelings, if you like galaxy, then stick with it, if you like optimus, go for it.
Personally think both phones are flagship level, performance different are minimum, just different by outside looking

well s3 is good but not the best in my opinion. if the thing is not giving u satisfaction then it doesn't matter at all that the phone is so popular & so costly & bhal bhal.......
For me i am not really happy wid s3. multitasking sucks. plastic feels so cheap. always have fear in mind of sudden death, only my thoughts.

Based on what? He's been selling other items cheap and consistently receiving good feedback. These are an old model now so it may be run out stock. I've ordered with pat later so there's no risk to me.

Is it version 1.0 or version 3.0? If it's version 3 then it's pretty much useless because version 3.0 has only one wifi antenna and it has the worst signal ever

If your budget is truly $100 I recommend a Quadcore TV stick. If you search on YouTube for SomeCoolTech he has reviews on several different tv sticks. I personally use a Minix Neo G4 and a Neo X5 both are dual core and both run FABULOUS!!

I just took a chance and ordered that too. The seller has a lot of prices that are well below market rates, but maybe they are just trying for a quick turnaround. I guess we'll all find out soon.

I would say go for it, i love this phone so far, and having tested the moto G, you can get your Optimus to have the same voice search commands from home screen like it, plus better specs and as a pretty darn personal opinion, it looks better as well Compare them further and take your choice wisely best regards.
No, you would be paying too much for this. Look on eBay, you should be able to get one for cheaper. This thing is only worth about 100 cash if you buy locally somewhere

Yes lg optimus g looks awesome. Plus the sd card slot. That's what got me not to buy the Moto g. I was but after almost always have a device with external micro sd card slot, I don't think I can go without it lol

With eBay you just have to make sure to buy from a good seller. Some of my best shopping experiences were with eBay sellers, some small sellers who try to do good business really bend over back forwards to make sure you are 100% happy. You gotta think it is almost impossible to have like a 99 some percent positive feedback. I sell some stuff too, when people are happy with their purchase they don't leave feedback , and they destroy you when there is a tiny little thing they are unhappy about
