Hello newbie here. Im running a non rooted, LG Optimus 3D with 2.2.2. Model number p925g. Im on Rogers in Canada. My service is currently suspended, for 3 weeks. I was using wifi all that time for facebook, e-mail etc. Just couple days ago my wifi stopped. its says full connection at home on my neighbours unseccured linksy. No internet access. Did soft reboot multiple times. no change. Took it to Rogers where the clerk signed me into Their hot spot full connection and access. At safeway and public library I connected full wifi bars. no access until i agreed to their little licensing blurb. At home still no access even with it reading full connection. I did factory reset. Nothing changed. Rogers clerk assured me wifi was fine as i connected to their hotspot. wifi not fine!!! At home i signed into my roomates Telus router with password. It say authenticating but it kicks off as disabled over and over. yet linksy connects and stays fine?? Yet no access to net still?? Please help. I tried resetting router, power off, wifi on phone set to never sleep. I like phone otherwise. for year and half connected to any open wifi no problem. Now cant connect at home. Very frustrating. Please please someone help. Its gotta be a simple thing Im overlooking. I posted elsewher with no success. I know someone can help me?? Im a nontech savy newbie. very Frustrated. help!!!!!!

[Q] phone gets stuck on old wifi networks

Okay, having a really weird issue here. My work just gave us all brand new Motorola Admiral handsets to replace our old Nextel Blackberries. My phone works fine except that it keeps getting stuck on old wifi networks. As an example, we have a couple of different SSIDs in use at work, depending on the site. If I have it connected to SSID-A and then go to a second site with a different SSID, it still shows me as connected to SSID-A. Even between sites it shows that. Now I am at home and it still shows SSID-A.
Of course the phone thinks it's connected to wi-fi so the 3g connection doesn't work at all and it isn't connecting to my home wi-fi. If I disable wi-fi and then turn it back on then it will connect but I should have to manually turn it off and on every time I go out of range of an AP. No luck with Google so I figure I would ask here.

[Q] Unable to connect to home wifi?

It was fine until last night...
I woke up this morning to find that my atrix had lost connection with home wifi, provided by ATT.
I tried to go back on, but it failed, as if I had got the password wrong (phone says its gaining IP address, turns wifi on and off, does the same thing again)
I tried rebooting the phone, retyping the password, which were an useless attempt.
Wifi itself seems like its, fine, since my mother's phone(Captivate) is going fine with it.
I can also connect to other wifi networks,
so I cant exactly see where the problem is.
My atrix is running on ATT, 4.5.91, rooted.
Thanks for your help beforehand!

Did you try telling it to forget the connection, then set it up again?
Have you tried rebooting your modem and router?
Many connection issues are solved by a simple reboot of all hardware involved.

Replacement phone from Sprint. Can't connect to any WIFI networks...

Yeahhhh so my old phone was having some issues so Sprint got me a new (refurb) LTEVO. Phone looks great, but it doesn't connect to wifi no matter what I do. I've already tried factory resetting, setting to 2.4ghz only, and nothing, wont connect. Tried on my WPA2 network at home, as well as our WPAe at work. Exact same symptoms. The phone will randomly see the networks, so naturally I select it and enter my credentials. Immediately the phone will say the network is out of range. A few minutes later it'll pop-up in range again, I try to connect, same thing.
I thought it may be related to the wifi antenna on the phone but it seems to be okay. I already did a factory reset and no change.
What are the chances I got a dud phone? I want to root and install CM10.1 but I don't even know if it's worth it if I'm going to have WIFI issues and will have to take the phone back anyway.
Anyone run into this?
Does it work on a WiFi that doesn't have a password

Just tried, same issue. As soon as I hit connect it doesn't even bother trying to connect. It immediately says "saved" under the network I tried connecting to, and within moments that network disappears. When it reappears it says 'not in range'.
I think this phone is hosed.

Network access denied, Huawei Y6 Prime

Hello,
I can connect to all the Wifi but home Wifi which stubbornly rebuffs me with 'Network access denied'. The issue happened after I came back from a trip to france then China and tried to connect. I live in HK and the network (that had not changed) could be detected, but connection impossible. All other Wifis are fine... and this happening 2 weeks after I bought this phone..
I tried to reboot restart the phone, forget the network and reconnect to it, changing SSID of the phone, changing IP address. The phone won't connect.
When I go in 'Setting, Backup and restore', I find no possibility to reset all the networks, contrary to the possibility that seems to exist on other Huaweis>> Is this normal or this could be linked to a phone issue ?
So basically I am totally stuck after trying in total 2 hours of everything I found on the Internet.
If the last option is to totally reboot the phone to its infancy factory state, I am afraid it will be more painful to reinstall everything rather than having no Wifi.
Do you have an idea of something else I could try ? Thanks for your help

unable to connect to home wifi all of a sudden

been using same router and internet (bt homehub 6) for past year nothing changed,
phone has been okay recently no recent factory resets etc
phone has been fine on home wireless network,,
been out today came home and router has been untampered
and phone will not work on wifi it connects but states
wifi sign in request authorisation
i can login to my router still so phone is connected,
ive factory resetmy router , problem still persists, i dont want to factory reset my phone as its loads of hassle if its a simple fix
My phone will connect fine to my wifi but then within a few minutes just die out and anything I try to load just times out. Toggling airplane mode just buys me another minute or so. I Googled around about it and Huawei phones in general seem very picky when it comes to wifi, I haven't tested it against other routers or bands but it sure doesn't like mine (and I have ten other devices that work perfectly). If you search about it you will find many people having the same issues, but no real fix.
