Hi folks
I have the problem, that when i tried to install Jellybam on my phone, it suddently went black, and now it wont start at all.
It will not react on home+lock+volume up/down either.
What can the problem be, and is there any solution to this problem at all?
Sincerely
Pumba Melbye

Are you sure the battery is charged? Do you see the charging animation when you plug in the charger?
answer
Yes, it was fully charged, and it has also been connected to the charger for the last 8 hours now, and we tested it with my friends battery, so that is not the prob.
Do You see charging animation when You plug in Your charger ?
If not then.... well, You are hardbricked.
answer
well, i don't see anything no matter what i do at all, so i hope you are right. In that case, what should i do to save it?
Before you flashed jellybam, were you on 4.0.4 stock?
Sent from the little guy
answer
Yes, i had 4.0.4 and heard a friend telling that his i9100 had been upgraded to jellybam, and we tried to do the same to mine, but when it came to the installation of the new OS, it went all black and hasn't reacted since.
ps. when in charger, the phone is getting warm in the top.
Yes, I know.
You bricked it, read about brick bug.
And I gotta post my fav 4.0.4 meme...

Warranty? Tell them you did a factory reset and never came back (which is the truth, don't say anything about jellybam tho).
No warranty? mobo replacement.

nothing else to do?

The only way to fix it is to replace main board in Your phone. I hope it is still under warranty otherwise it's gonna be rather expensive. Tell them it happened when You did factory reset and never mention rooting or flashing anything.

Pretty much self explanatory
Camera was working yesterday
Today its not :'(
I had this a few days back - turns out i'd been using the phone in 'torch' mode, and it had turned itself off after a while, but obviously didn't release the led function back to the camera.
When I cycled the torch back on and off again it was fine. I imagine rebooting would do the same thing?
Hope that helps a little!
yes, just reboot the phone and it will work again, had the same thing
have tried multiple reboots and even taken the battery out! not too sure what im supposed to do....may just reflash the original rom again to see if it makes a difference

just a question, but had you changed the lcd density before the camera failed? if so, did you adjust it below 182?
nope, lowest i set it to was 210, but that screenshot was taken at the norm 240
ok its happened again!!! i flashed the latest update and rebooted and it was fine, camera app loaded up fine...once i installed a theme it was saying the same message!!!! is this a hardware fault? i can hear the camera clicking every time it switches on
Just flashed the original firmware back onto it, the o2 one and its saying the same thing.....is this a hardware fault?
***************EDIT******************************
So i did a factory reset and the camera really is working now
anybody have a clue why this is happening? its slightly annoying....going to debrand and root to see if i can locate the problem...
Hey guys,
Pretty desperate here, and I've been searching the forums and other pages on the web for a solution, but nothing yet.
I'm afraid I did something pretty stupid. I wanted to update Gmaps, but Play Store gave me the 'not signed correctly, please delete older version' message. So I tried to uninstall the old Gmaps through Settings, but that didn't work.
Than I had this 'brilliant' idea to just hardcore delete Gmaps through Titanium Backup. Well, I did and... BOOM! Black screen, a short boot loop and after that... nothing.
I took out the battery for about 15 minutes and placed it back in, and now I get this weird message saying 'WTSR/SMPL'.
Phone won't start up in Recovery, only Download mode.
Somebody can help me out here?

Flash a stock rom in download mode with Odin, clean slate. Then re-root your phone & you can restore a backup (if you have one).

Thanks for your response so quick, appreciate it.
BTW, are you sure there is no other way? Did you see this WTSR message before?
No probs. No, I've never seen it. But thinking logically; you have no recovery, the phone won't boot normally & you can only get into download mode. You don't really have any other option other than the one I suggested, do you ?

Not sure. The weird thing is: when I press the home button repeatedly, the screen starts flickering from white to black and back. So there's still something alive, don't you think?
I was using RR 3.0.6 JB and something made my status bar dissapear. So, I started flash the factory rom (O2 UK I9100P ICS) and now my odin still like this since 20 minutes ago. It's normal? Or something more wrong happened? lool :/

Never a good Idea to use the pit file unless there is something drastically wrong with the phone....
Have you had any luck fixing this.. if not post the current state of your phone..
Unplug the cable and see what happened (soft brick, hard brick)... you shouldn't have used the .pit file for such a problem...

I'm newbie and from Vietnam.
My friend gave me this broken HTC titan AT&T, he asked me for any solution. Therefore, I searched in many forums but there is no solution.
First, when I power it on, it goes straight to this screen:

lol my bad I had to ask...
Use caution on this advice...
Either use goldcard to flash the ATT rom OR (most likely not going to work....) download a EU rom with an 2.5 or lesser SPL and try to flash it.
Hey everyone, i have a problem with my phone which is Samsung Galaxy Alpha G850. It is stuck in bootloop when on battery. In the begining it worked on charger all the time but as the time went by the problem was worse and it was stuck on bootloop on charger also. I tried new battery but it didnt work, also i tried flashing new ROM and nothing has changed. Does anyone have an idea how to fix this?
p.s. I dont have warranty papers buying a new phone is better for me than sending it to Samsung
i have the exact problem as you,any solutions ?

Alpha stucked in bootloop
Hi all Alpha people,
Got also in stucked bootloop SM-G850F.
I took out battery, press power button a few seconds,
Reinsert accu and quickly press vol. down+home and power.
After a few attempts the device turned to download mode
and was ready to install stock rom, found by sammobile.
Perhaps trying recovery if you have one. Greets Nick
Solved
I had the same trouble, buyed a new battery and the problem continues. The solution is to use a small piece of paper to adjust the battery. Please check the images attached of the solution. Hope will help to other people with the same trouble.
