Doesnt your phone use this button for quick launch into camera?
Odp: [Q]Waking screen by camera button.
Yes, that true. But it can be pressed only a little bit, i mean like in autofocusing. Then it doesn't turn on fast capture mode.

Yes.

Well you're gonna need to be rooted, then go to system>usr>keylayout then in there you need to edit one of the files, im not sure which one, but should be easy if you know what you're doing
Odp: [Q]Waking screen by camera button.
The thing is, I don't know which file to edit..

You need a thread for this?
Learn to swipe and you will get used to the keys.
If you really need the bar to lid up, just press the camera button slightly.

Yes, I'm also talking about the same thing.
Once you are used to the buttons, you don't have to SEE them to PRESS them
Even the power button, when it pressed, the transparent glass will illuminate...

Hello
Here is an app called Smartswitcher
Firstly I will thank the app developer ssspeq
This app will use our phones proximity sensor to help open recently used app
To get it working what u need is
1) The ,apk file
Install the apk normally
one preference screen will pop up select ur preferences
Now here are the instructions to get it working
You should be unlocked means on menu or anywhere in ur phone bcoz the app doesnt work when we are on lockscreen or when the phone is locked
Instructions :
Wave you hand across the sensor :
1 time for the recent app menu
2 times for the home customization menu in neov or home menu for other phone or menu in apps
3 times to go back or reverse ur menu option action
4 times to bring u back to ur home-screen from whichever application ur using
Your phone will vibrate when an action is completed
Hope u like this app
Questions are welcomed

Hello!
I think it would be better if you put a link to the authors thread instead of posting the apk, specially since there's now is a newer version!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1803902
Since i'm following this closely i know there's a couple of problems, some with solutions. It's also hard for the developer to fix issues posted here if he don't follow this thread.

Did you press the help button in the app or read the thread? You probably disabled vibration feedback on recognized gesture but left find my sensor-mode on. That mode causes vibration on statechange of the sensor to help users find where the sensor is located on the device. This setting is now completely gone because it caused people to think the app was broken. The other settings are more clearly explained now.
Thanks for testing it on the experia neo!

Menu and Back Button work fine.
Home button works to wake screen, it does not work like home button.
Also, now the lock screen stopped showing. it directly unlocks if i press the Power button.

5. IMPORTANT. copy the fix.sh (it's a script) to the ROOT of the phone. not /sdcard, but ROOT
6. just click on the fix.sh and select "excute) and the script will run and you will see output saying (done, reboot) or something.
I didn't understand this part! Help?
The root of the phone is the place where /system us located right? I cannot paste any file there!!
And when I click on fix.sh it says no application can preform this action. Please help!
EDIT: OMG OMG IT WORKED! Thanks!
I used the OP's Method, pasted the code into terminal emu.
Good for you...So happy on pureness Rom now?And by the way for walkman or music player you can download one from play store or flash the ones available in themes and apps section..

In the live with walkman phone, the strip (semi-circle)around the home button is jz a regular strip, its nt a led light, but the strip between the walkman shortcut and lockbutton is led, which can be toggled on and off in walkman player
