[Q] boot loop when i installed DextersJB room - HTC Flyer, EVO View 4G

Someone help me please!
I had a Flyer running HC 3.2.1, Hboot 1.11.0011. Then i unlock it via HTCdev, install recovery v6.0.1.1 HC and root with superuser 3.1.3 but i didn't s-off because i dont know how to s-off 1.11.00.11 Hboot.
Yesterday i installed Nexus flyer v1.2. My Flyer still ran very good but not have 3G. Then i downgrade it to DextersJB but when i finished it my tablet had boot loop. I had already wipe cache/factory, wipe data and flash boot.img (i used boot-htckeys.img). I tried to do that again but my tablet still have boot loop.
Can someone help me? Thank you very much!
(sorry because english is not my first language)

So are you booted into DextersJB now? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2164891
Since you've been bouncing around in different threads and also PMs, I'm completely confused about where you are at, whether you have bothered to try my suggestions, etc.

What do you mean "i used boot-htckeys.img" ? The only boot.img you should be using is the one you extract from the zip file for the ROM you downloaded. YOu can't use a boot.img from somewhere else. This may be your issue.
The process should be:
Download ROM to your PC
Extract boot.img from the ROM Zip file
Move the entire zip file to your SD card
Boot Clockworkmod (CWM)
Factory reset, wipe cache, and wipe Dalvik in CWM
Flash ROM using CWM
Reboot into hboot, connect to PC and select fastboot
Flash boot.img using fastboot
Reboot

same trouble, but broke recovery
Hi redpoint, I saw ur advice to a guy with a similar issue. I stuffed up installing dexters rom by not flashing the boot image, however I cannot get back in to cwm recovery, first of all I got a bootloop, then I tried to re-flash my cwm recovery.img, but now i just get htc logo, so no boot, no recovery. How do i get cwm recovery back?! i only have access to the hoot menus, so only able to flash via fastboot. I think i need the correct recovery img for cwm? any advice is much appreciated.

Recovery Woes

Hey guys. Twice now (last night and just now) iv'e tried booting into recovery (CWM 5.0.2.3) and it boots to the stock android recovery.
Bootloader is unlocked and i haven't tried flashing any SBF or any sort of .zip files, and i haven't installed any OTA's.
Booting to fastboot, flashing CWM and rebooting into recovery seems to solve it.
My question is why is it reverting to the stock recovery without any input by me?

Unlocked and Rooted. Having issues getting CWM to stick.
Thought it was odd done this a couple of times. First time I resoted stock recovery and it reverted. Well ok reflash with fastboot because it restored the recovery partition.
Was going to modify the framework.apk and went to
Flashed recovery by:
moto-fastboot erase recovery
moto-fastboot flash recovery recovery-blue-photon1.3.img
moto-fastboot reboot.
Upon reboot accessed CWM recovery and did a backup.
Tried to push framework.apk and screwed it up somewhere so it bootlooped.
Battery pull select android recovery.... and back to stock recovery.
Had to reflash with fastboot and restore backup.
Any ideas why the recovery partition is reverting back to stock??
EDIT:
Thanks to mrinehart93 for pointing this out.
The system runs /system/etc/install-recovery.sh on boot with the stock rom. On boot it checks the recovery partition for some update and with CWM installed decides to reflash the stock recovery over it. Rename or delete the file and the CWM should stick.

[Q] Can't get in recovery, stuck with custom rom but can't install any app!!!

Like I wrote in title. I can't get in recovery, stuck with custom rom (ROmeo) and when I try install any app (from market or sd card-apk) evo 3d gsm reboot. If you can help I will be so grateful!!
Are you gsm or cdma ?? What hboot do you have ?? What recovery were you running??? What were you doing right before you had this issue ??? What have you done to attempt to fix it ??

This is something that I posted in another thread. It should help get you back on track.
It just sounds like something weird happened to your recovery partition. If you pull out the battery and put it back in, then plug a usb cable into your computer. Do not turn it on. Run the command "adb reboot bootloader" (from your computer). that should turn on the phone and put it into the bootloader. From there, redownload your custom recovery of choice to your computer. Make sure you have a .img file. Type in "fastboot flash recovery [NAMEOFRECOVERYIMAGE].img". Now run your custom recovery and restore the update.zip for your ROM.

I solve the problem through the many tutorials from xda and some other stuff.. I just get in recovery so If there any problem after flashing new rom, let you know
After flashing new custom rom in recovery nothing change. Romeos rom stay and again I cant get in recovery. How to wipe full this rom??
You have to wipe, data-factory reset, cache, and davlik cache. That's a full wipe

[Q] Phone stuck on Bootmanager sd rom 1

I tried installing the new MIUI on bootmanager and booted into it. Once booted into it the wifi didnt work which I read was because I didnt flash the kernal. I tried opening boot manager to go back to phone rom but it will not flash boot.img. I panicked and booted to recovery flashing MIUI with EXT4 recovery. After rebooting it still goes into the sd card rom. I then fastbooted into recovery and flashed the phone rom update.zip from the bootmanager folder. This still will not let me boot to the phone. Any help to get me back to the phone rom or install the kernal for MIUI without being able to get into boot manager or a fix for boot manager for MIUI would be greatly appreciated. Currently my phone is working but not how I wish it to.

Im on Juopunut HBoot 1.5050 (last evo i had was downgraded to 1.4) do I still need to fastboot flash boot boot.img? or boot into recovery from fastboot? Will be trying a couple of things in a minute after class gets out.
Pushing the boot.img fixed it.

[Q] help with recovery .img

So hey guys. Im new to all these things but read a lot about it before doing something.
So here's what i did and where it went wrong:
- I unlocked and rooted my phone with the All-in-one-tool from Hasoon2000 (nice tool Hasoon!)
- After that i made a recovery with CWM, which i copied to my PC as a backup.
- Then i wanted to flash the bindroid ROM from DutchDanny and in here it propably went wrong. What i did was the following:
To install the ROM i needed TWRP, so i flashed it and made a recovery in there.
Then i flashed a boot.img from the download section of the bindroid ROM, without wiping cache
So the ROM installed fine, but my IMEI was lost, so i used the recovery from TWRP and it gave me my IMEI back.
But in the thread of the ROM it says it sometimes need a retry to install so i decided to flash the boot.img again (without wiping cache ).
Still no IMEI in the ROM and recovered through the TWRP. But this time i did not get my IMEI back..
So now i have still the CWM recovery, a .img file. Do i have to flash this again with flash boot.img to gain my IMEI back?
Any help would be appreciated!
(sorry mods if its supposed to be in the thread of the custom ROM, but since thats in the develloppers section, I cant post in there)
solved
Hmm somehow i managed to recover it.. I just tried to flash some recovery files with the toolkit. Now its working again.
SOLVED

[Q] in need of help

hey everyone.i have a att m8.s-off unlocked rooted.i was running twrp 2.8.01 i think.dirty unicorns for the rom.i was getting ready to flash viper.so i went to recovery to flash just started wiping stuff did the fist wipe cant remember the name of what it was.it wasnt something i wasnt suppost to just one of the normal wipes it did it then the phone rebooted.i think because i started the wioe process the rom wouldnt boot.so i tried to go back and finish everthing.about 30 seconds into recovery the phone tries to reboot.i tried flashin g recovery though fastboot it said it worked but recovery is unusable any help is appreciated.thanks.
Did you try to flash recovery again?

4.4.3 is the RUU you'd want to use. Not causing the problem, but are you trying to use 3.2.1 or 2.5.0 viper?
Viper 3.2.1 is there a problem with that version.the problem was my sd card when I pluggedit into computer to load up firmware the computer ask me to format it.when I plugged it back into phone I went to recovery and it worked.thanks for all your help.

You can only run 3.2.1 if you're on build 3.28.401.9 which hasn't been released for AT&T yet. Latest AT&T build is 2.23.502.3 which can only be used with Viper 2.5.0. Flashing Viper 3.2.1 while not on the correct build will cause your WiFi to stop working and probably a few other bugs. You can either flash Viper 2.5.0 or you can flash the 3.28.401.9 International build and run 3.2.1 and Viper will update you to 4.4.4. So you can use the RUU to get back to 4.4.3 (build 2.23.502.3) and run Viper 2.5.0 and wait for the officials AT&T update for 4.4.4 (build 3.28.401.9) or you can flash the International build (3.28.401.9) and run Viper 3.2.1. If you decided to update and want to flash International here is a guide to do it http://venomroms.com/viperonem8_3-0-0-requirements/
I wasn't aware 3.28.401.9 was international that's the one I flashed when it came out.but for whatever reason my sd card was causing recovery not to work right.I'm running viper 3.2.1 now.everything seems to be working good.I only changed Roms because du isn't supporting lollipop when it comes out so I'm trying different ones.
fastboot erase cache and install recovery with fastboot again.
Than restore nandroid. Didn't make one, why the heck not?
If that is the case, flash a known good ROM. adb push the ROM to the phone, or put it on SD with a USB card reader connected to your computer.
The above steps will get you out of a no boot situation from bad recovery or bad flash 99% of the time.

There is only one default wipe in TWRP (data, Dalvik and Cache). It says "most the time this is the only wipe that you need" and it means what it says. If you picked to go into Advanced (again, its labelled that way for a reason) you better know what you are doing and make sure before you confirm the wipes.
