Part of screen not working! - HTC One X+

Well phone was working fine, went to sleep woke up in the morning and a part of the screen is unresponsive. So far I have re-flashed from venom rom to ARHD. And it still ain't helping. Any idea what I should do?

dropped it once, 2 weeks ago. Only today it stopped working. Reflashed back to stock but in bootloader it says reflashed. Hopefully they take it in under warranty. :crying:

just tell them "it stopped working" and don't mention dropping it

Well there are slight scratches on one of the side at the bottom. Thinking of a way to cover that up since it had dropped on a concrete road.

I don't know if it's coincidental but it appeared after my timer went off.
I have pulled the battery but it doesn't correct the problem
looks damaged to me :/ you sure you havent droped, lent on or put pressure on the screen while its been in your pocket?
No sir, was fine, I put it on the charger in my car, the timer went off and I couldnt clear the timer cuz of the screen going haywire. I restarted the phone and it was fine for a moment but as soon as the screen timed out and I attempted to turn the phone back on the problem appeared again.
Recovery mode and factory reset .
Take to a service centre if not fixed .

Thanks, tried a factory reset and still no good.
Sending it back tomorrow
Defective screen. Just take it back.. Sucks hopefully it will be taken care of!

Wow. I definitely would've sent it back for a warranty exchange. This kinda makes me think I'm a lazy ass. How long did it take to do this?

Hi guys! Am I the only one having this problem? The metal rim around my fingerprint scanner started chipping. I don't even know how this started.
Use warranty and replace it. That's not normal

Wow. That's crazy. When I saw your pics, I checked mine right away thinking it might have it too without knowing.... But it's fine on mine. So when did you first start noticing it? I'm assuming over time?

I started to notice it a few days ago but I'm not sure if it started long before that. I don't know if this is just a defect on mine or maybe my sweaty hands are just that corrosive lol

Software or Hardware problem?

Hello,
I've been owning a Redmi 3 for 4 months now, and it recently developped a problem with the touchscreen. I get phantom touches in a straight line when I touch the screen (3-6 out of 10 times). I have posted 3 images to illustrate this problem better. The phone came with unofficial ROM installed by seller, changed it to China Stable and then to Global Stable, and I did not encounter bugs. There is also a yellow tint on the left side, near the SIM Card Tray, 2x0.2cm . DO you have any suggestions, other than changing the screen?

I should mention that this started last night when my phone was charging, but now it is an issue even if it's not charging...

Half screen

Hi,
Today, the image of my Nexus 9 tablet suddenly was only half visible.
The backlight is still working, because on the edges I can see light.
The touchscreen works, also on the dark part.

Anyone know how I can fix this?
Rob
I suppose you could try to flash a factory image but I think it may be a bad screen.
Hi Rob,
I got the same problem than you.
Did you manage to fix it?
Thanks.
