i just tried porting a galaxy s2 rom on to my mmx A110..!! havnt flashed it yet...!!
what are the consequences of flashing it.....i mean the pros n cons...!!!

i also took help from one of the porting rom tutorial threads here on XDA..!!

Hey friends i have installed android 2.3.7 rom on my karbonnA1 same as that of ZTE N721.. with some modification to ZTE RACER rom.. i was able to boot the rom ... but the issue is WIFI, Bluetooth, and network is not working . ? what i need to do now ?
Do I have to modify the kernel or any other solution is there ... help will be appreciated

rom i ported is based on CynogenMod-7.2.0-RC1 .... USB is also not working but i can charge through USB cable
please guys guide me i m eager to develop it further .I m also googling the issues but no success till now

u should upload rom you ported, i will test on my mmx a60 and will fix it.

hiii frnds, i m noob. i have 1 question, is it possible to port karbonn titanium s1 roms to our grand quattro?
i seen that both the phones have same qualcomm chipset. So is porting possible?

No, for that we either need a custom rom which can act as base or an Too experienced developer who have ported roms using stock as base.So, i don't thinks think that porting will be possible but you can still try might luck turns in your favour :fingers-crossed:
yse search for compatible customs roms are use any themes to display it :cyclops:
it is possible i guess.. i have ported ROMz for MTK , not sure how qualcomm works .... but i have seen many people porting it...

i too tried porting MIUI bt it wont get booted. currently i dont have fast net:crying:. so i cant downlod any of that rom to port

I need a help in porting cm12 ported by kashifmin to my device Xolo Q600 (mt6589) .. I tried replacing zimage in boot.img with jb zimage, kk zimage...but no one of these booted it...so devs.. Please help. Someone plz be kind enough to help me to port. I'm new in this cm stuff and earlier, I ported just normal Roms.. Plz someone help
