[Q] Sound recording quality ?

Hello everybody, I just wanted to know if the mic sensibility problems of the SGS have been fixed with the SGS 2 ?(In particular THIS problem :http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=721069)
Can you record loud music (concerts, etc) ?
And if you make a video, how is the sound (I've read it's only 22Khz...) in a loud environment ? Has someone tried to film a concert ?
No go on any fix here. The sound of the vids I made at concerts where terrible. Check YouTube and search for the channel Fuzzemz (can't share links since it's my first post...). The HD movies are recorded with my SG2.
I'm still searching the net for a solution....
BUMP! Is there any fix for that?

[Q] usb microphone

Hi
Have been looking for some info on using a usb microphone together with the zte blade, or android in general, but have only found out that it doesn't seem to work. I would like to use it to make higher quality music demo recordings when I'm playing the guitar at home.
Does any of you experts have more information if it works already or if it could be done with a workaround or if it eventually will be possible in the future?
Since it already exist recording app that record in higher quality...

[Q] Audio volume while video recording

Hey.
Yesterday i was on this 'We love the 90's' live arrangement where Scooter, Culture Beat, Haddaway, Captain Jack, Dr Bombay and Daze was doing a live arrangement here i live in Ålesund.
Now, the video recording was in good quality for the most part, so i have nothing to say about that.
But what my question is, is if it's possible to lower the input volume of the microphone(s) on the Galaxy S II?
I'm using Android 4.0.3 though. Or i'm using SensatioN ROM v3.4, but it's a Samsung ROM anyways.
When the sound / noise gets a little high, the sound starts to cracks quite alot. And that will ofc make it bad to record a live arrangement.
I know we can change / edit the values to the bitrate on the recorded movies and the audio quality to in the 'media_profiles.xml' file that are under System/etc.
Shouldn't it be possible to reduce the input volume to the microphone to then?
Or isn't it any ways of doing this?
I also hope that i posted this on the right place.
Greetings from Tom-Helge.
EDIT: I was using LgCameraPro to record the movies and was setting it to record in mono because the sound would crack WAAAAY more if i had been recording the sound in Stereo.
EDIT 2: I'm uploading a little clip from the live arrangement to let you see what i'm talking about.
It's done in about 20 minutes.
EDIT 3: Here is the little video clip.
Bump before i'm off to work.
Anyone have any idea about this?
I had the same problem too ^^
same problem here, but it seems a known issue of s2
Still no ideas on this problem?
Think i have to give this topic a little bump again.

Too sensitive microphone during recording videos

I have a problem that when I'm recording movies, the audio quality is very bad. This mainly applies to recording movies in noisy places, for example in clubs. Instead of music, you can hear only buzzing, clattering and cracking. I think that reducing the sensitivity of the microphone during recording would solve this problem. Unfortunately, I could not find the right guide on how to do it on the internet. Literally all tutorials either do not work or show how to change the microphone's sensitivity only when calling. I tried to modify DEC1 and DEC2 values in literally all files whose name starts with "mixer_paths ...". It also did not help. I would like to add that the quality of sound on movies recorded with other phones in the same places is as it should be, the music is clearly heard without any disturbance.
Phone - Redmi Note 3 Pro (Snapdragon)
ROM - Android 6.0.1 MIUI 10.2 (Dev 8.11.22)
Thanks in advance for replies.

Bad audio quality with Games

Hello, I have a issue with my Galaxy S21 (Exynos)
The Audio quality (Phone speakers) is really bad when using Games, it sounds like mono, muffled and without any bass.
It does happen only in Games. The quality from Music Player, YouTube, Spotify is great.
I noticed it while trying to record my screen.
As soon as I started the screen recorder the quality improved, the sound was fuller, with bass, and I was like WTF?
Stopping the screen recorder the sound return at a terrible quality.
It does also affect other apps, for example if I have Spotify running in background while gaming, the quality is bad.
Disabling/enabling Atmos does not solve the issue.
I also tried mods like Viper4Android o no avail
There isn't any settings that I could find.
I also updated to latest firmware (1 July patch), did a full wipe, but the issue is still there.
Can you please try it and see if you have the same issue?
Try to the screen recorder while using a game and see if the quality changes .
UP, please just try with yourGalaxy S21 and report if you have the same issue or not.
I have the same issue. It was reported in Samsung support but it seems they don't care at all...
