Someone is trying or planning port the Ubuntu phone for Xperia Neo Device?
It shouldn't be very hard to at least get it to boot. It is based on cm10.1 source chroot but it is pretty much useless as it is in pre-alpha stage now with only dummy apps and stuff.

I haven't looked very thoroughly, but it looks like the ROM he links is for the Galaxy Nexus, whereas that guide is for porting Xperia Arc/Neo ROMs to the Ray - which wouldn't work.

Edit *there is a build of aokp 23 or 22 that's tablet mode
Jj aokp 23 would need some Modding but not much
Was looking at this earlyer
If you never ported before try do a few easy ones
Use dsi kitchen
And a few programs for log cats
And note pad +
Bit of luck n you may be able to do it
Few changes here and there and some tears of boot loop joy now and then
PS that guide sort of will help with some parts
do some searching with Google

I'd like to ask users who own xperia P if does it worth it to buy this phone?
and also, do you think that there will be some proper devs who can make aosp/cm/aokp roms (complie sources bla bla) now just modified stock rom
im interested in buying this phone, but i hope there will be support from cm or any dev buy this phone :/
There aready devs modifying the P look into the Xperia S Android developement Forum there you will find 2 different kernel and now one Rom... hopefully it will get more interesting to devs once ICS is released to our Phone...

Ubuntu Touch Developer preview has already been ported to Xperia T. Can some dev port it to xperia 2011 devices?? :silly:

Hello, I create this topic to comment about this rom, the cm10.1 rom: AvatarRom.
I was discussing with a friend of the community LG optimus me (my old phone) and told me he had port the avatar rom to LG. As I had no idea about that rom then search and found this:

Are the roms zip flasheables without bugs. and it turns out that among the teams that have this rom the Xperia S, a brother of the Xperia phone U, which has also led bar.
I was thinking about porting the rom, I was not to carry much, if any developer knows something about porting could try to coordinate and finally get a stable rom JB.
Xperia S boasts CM10 rom avatar (JB 4.1) and cm10.1 (JB 4.2).
Also, in case we cant port this rom , i create a request at the official website of Avatar rom. Need the vote (with a maximum of 3 votes) and comment . need to do to get attention request. If you have more than one email can vote more than one time. It takes 2 minutes.

What the hell? Wrong section and you probably don't know, that Xperia U has Novathor chipset without sources....we would have to have a Jelly Bean base in order to port it. Soon, Xperia P, Go will get Jelly Bean update from Sony and the FXP is gonna release CM10 in few weeks.
