I use the bookmarks widget that comes with the stock browser, i like to have all the bookmarks thumbnails and i see that everytime i flash a new ROM i lose all the thumbnails
Anyone know where are stored the bookmarks thumbnails to backup it before install a new ROM?
Or there is an apk that creates all my bookmarks thumbnails with one click?

Hello, I know opera mini and dolphin browser can backup and restore bookmarks, however is this possible for the default browser, as i have loads of bookmarks and this can be problematic when i migrate to new roms please.
Had a hell of a time updating to JB and now recovering from a wipe. Now I can't find an option to sync my Gmail bookmarks to the stock browser. I used to be able to do this in ICS but now there are only local bookmarks. Is anyone else's like this?

I noticed this as well. I switched to chrome. I would rather use stock browser but i had to have my bookmarks.

I am trying to save a bookmark in the default browser (4.0.4)and it keeps saying bookmark in use... There are no saved bookmarks held in the browser.. Does anyone know how i can save the bookmark ? I have tried clearing cache/data but it still complains!

I don't know if this is a KitKat issue or because I restored apps with TB. When I try to add bookmarks using the Bookmarks Widget, There are no bookmarks there. I usually use Desktop Visualizer to add customized shortcuts to the launcher but no bookmarks are showing up there either. This is obviously a system wide issue. The bookmarks show up normally in the stock browser and chrome bookmarks are all showing up. I can add bookmarks directly from chrome or the stock browser but I want to get the system bookmark issue fixed.
Update:
So I thought the Bookmark Widget was a stock feature but it appears that it was added when Chrome was installed. The issue was with Chrome but I'm still not sure why it wasn't working. I cleared Data and Cache then uninstalled Chrome. This deleted all bookmarks and then the problem was that Chrome wouldn't sync bookmarks. Finally after a few sign outs on the phone app and PC it finally started syncing. Now all bookmarks are showing up in the bookmark widget.

I was looking into that a while ago, and the only solution someone suggested was using tasker to move them automatically. There is no way to change the default save folder. The most infuriating thing is that messenger saves them where they belong, in the pictures folder... so why can't they do the same with their facebook app?
What is Facebook?
Is that like a kindle reader?
Will it work on my TV?
