West Bloomfield MI and 4G - Sprint HTC EVO 4G LTE

So I just woke up to that beautiful "4g" icon on my status bar today. I'm in west Bloomfield MI, so if you're in that area hopefully you've got it too. The speed for me isn't as fast as att or Verizon but ill accept it, its still a decent speed. I'm too excited right now, sprint finally delivered

You should have posted in the 4g sticky thread. This will be locked soon.

Didn't even notice there was 4g sticky to be honest, I guess in tapatalk the stickies are in their own tab. Anyways if its moved or locked its cool, it was my bad for not checking stickies in the first place

No worries, I was just giving you fair warning, that's all.

Please post in one of the threads already discussing LTE. With all the new places they're activating it from this section would quickly fill up if we had a thread for every town.

Looks like there's been an LTE cell switched on near my apartment near the Allston/Brookline town line, near Harvard Avenue. These are LTE speeds I consistently get from it throughout the day. Except for the ping, it's faster than my home cable speeds!
Anyone else in Boston find pockets of LTE starting to appear as well?
(My Evo LTE is running the latest CM10 Android 4.1.2 rom.)
Scroll down a littleways and post this in the LTE thread. They are gonna lock this thread. There is a running list of areas with LTE in the first post and the op updates it regularly. Not trying to be a [email protected]#k just trying to help keep the forum clean.

I know it shows 3G in the notification bar, but I didn't think to get a screenshot until later during the night. You can see under "Location/Network" it says LTE. Not bad speeds IMO.

Sense 5

Is there anything new out there for Sense 5? I was on the 142 version from late May but haven't seen anything new. Slimbean is kicking ass v but I saw a HTC One today and got curious.

Sorry about that... This is the only section I check anymore.
I just looked in the General area and the "dedicated" thread isn't exactly on fire.
Go ahead and move this as needed.
No, nothing new for "local" Sense 5 development. But it appears as though the Sense 5 OTA is coming soon enough, and it might not be worth the effort of getting the port working. All of the drivers weren't released from HTC for our device, making most efforts futile.

The people in the west of the US still got 2 hours from now (Central time) so basically most of the world is in the future and the west of US isn't. Haha I love the new hovercrafts. I didn't know the government would issue us these. Oh did you guys get the 5.1 android Lemonpie?
