Unlock from VRALL4 - Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note II

Hello all,
I have a rooted but not unlocked Note 2 running VRALL4 (4.1.1). Could someone direct me to the post that tells me how to get unlock for this version? So many threads not sure which one is recommended.
Goal is to put Jelly Beans ROM on my device. Thanks for any guidance you can offer.

Just do a youtube search on google. Droidmodderx I think is his name that walked me through the whole process.

I see it's been answered so I'll ask why you thought this went in development. I'll go ahead and report it for you to get it moved to q and a, where it goes. For future reference questions go in the question section. Only post in development if you build a ROM or kernel.
Oh and search or in this case just take a look, very easy subject to find

Settings.apk file request

To try and test out a DAGr8 thought, can someone please post up the settings.apk from an stock AT$T device? I know I have it at home, but was hoping to test it out during lunch.
post this in DaGr8 Rom thread because this is the wrong section to be posting this.

Inside of the ROM thread I'm more than likely to get an audience who already has the Rogers version supplied with the ROM. I'm not looking for the ROM version but rather the original version. Yes this is in support if the ROM but as a request to a broader audience who may be able to help out, therefore development related.

Read the sticky at the top:
This forum is for posting Development projects only - ROMs, Kernels, Mods (but not Themes, there's a separate forum for them), not stock ROMs (they belong in General). Anything else will be moved or locked. Do not ask questions here, do not post requests here, they belong in General.

Development is for devs that are developing a rom...post in general and I will post the settings apk

I would definitely post in the general or q&a sections. I'm copying my internal mem to my pc, then I'll try to find the stock At&t settings.apk. The master grand rule of this section is:
If you did not build it......
Now it's getting off topic.
If you've read the thread at all you would see that my request is in direct support of SAUROM and the possibility of APN/network issues being resolved by usage of the original Settings.apk. Therefore it is considered development, not just some whacked off request for some easily obtained apk.
And I quote..Inside of the ROM thread I'm more than likely to get an audience who already has the Rogers version supplied with the ROM. I'm not looking for the ROM version but rather the original version.
Therefore it is posted outside of the thread (in direct correlation of the thread) to achieve the largest possible audience of people who care about the progress of the Note.
Moderator, please lock to stop the bickering, I'll just get a copy of it tonight when I finally get home from work.
Hope this is what you are looking for. I copied from my stock nandroid.
Awesome. Thank much.

Lil' Phone Bricker update.

I have 2.3 version of phone bricker and I want to update to the 2.5 version, can I save it to my SD card and update through CWM without doing a wipe or losing any data? I've had some issues on 2.3 I figured a new flash or a full wipe would get rid of.
This should be in the lil phone bricker thread.

The rules of the forum clearly state any questions about roms not involving development should be asked in the Q and A

Update, just clear cache/dalvik for good measure.
But depending on your issues a full wipe may be the best bet mostly if you flashed my Rom coming from another Rom with no wipe.
very much appriciated thank you, also the blue theme friggin awesome on the phone

That really only applies to the forums that have dedicated Q&A threads ie not this one. Forums like the Captivate and the inspire that is true for. Here you should always ask in the development thread before making a new thread

I have seen people with less than 10, I know its a rule but that the forum itself didn't let you.
Too lazy to search for them, not that I care cause I end up getting PMs instead.
I would rather they post so others can answer in case I am swamped.

I hadn't noticed his post count, and he referred to the rule so I just went with that

LiLChris06, I see you're always responding to people's questions, that is very cool of you!! Your ROM looks great I will be flashing this (first time flasher) I pick you to Captain my phone after many days or reading page after page after page.... Sail long Sail strong my dude!
Point is, if every person with a post count of less than 10 made a question thread we'd have a ton of new threads. Maybe if a dev made a q&a thread for their rom it would make for easier answering of questions for those with a smaller post count . It does suck if u have a question and you can't post in dev section, but at the same time, it pushes those people to contribute in other ways in other places. As well as search, which a lot of new members don't wanna do. They would rather just ask again even if their question has already been answered.

You don't want to see more questions posted here like mine yet you keep reviving the topic? I'm not going to day you're just trying to stack your post count but....
My question was answered unless you're going to add new information or something useful stop filling the thread with your wasteful posts, thanks to whomever actually answered my question the update was butter and all my reboot issues are gone love this rom.

ICS Build

Does anyone have the ICS rom from any of the developers that locked their threads? I would really love to try one out!
Liquids thread on rootz is still active, and has everything functioning but camcorder and data, calls and SMS work

Lmfao...are you serious?
This thread is prime example of exactly what's wrong with XDA and similar sites... no need to elaborate further.
*Thunderbolt 4G*
anybody else have a problem with me asking a question about a rom in the rom section. The section that you can't get any decent file sharing links out of and have to ask people for.
Actually, had u posted in qna like its sposed to, you would get better response, also a google search turns up all builds

Agree with the others. Not trying to bash you but this is a ROM Development section. This is where Devs post their work and gain feedback. There should be nothing else in here but ROM releases. All questions, no matter what they are in reference to, goes in the Question and Answer section. Ask your question again in that section and maybe someone will be nice enough to do your homework for you. Again, this is in no way to offend anyone, just pure common sense.

SVoice Download

I flashed my phone with Jelly beans rel 3 and S Voice is gone, anyone know how to get this back? I would post in dev but I can't until my post count is 10+ (maybe a verification system would work to counter this?)
SVoice is gone because it's really no good. Google Now is much better. But during installation I think there should have been a screen that asked if you wanted to keep it or not.

True, Google Now is much better. I hope when you mean post in the dev section, you mean writing your question in that ROM's thread and not start a new topic in the dev section.

^THIS.During the aroma install it asks which apps you want to keep. Just re flash and select it. When I went from build 3 to 4 I got it to try out. Google now is way faster to get to and get stuff done.

New to the Note on Verizon

What's up guys, i just switched from an e4gt on sprint to a Note 2 on Verizon, and i got to looking, I'm on software Verizon 4.1.1 and when I go to software update my only option is to install deferred sw ? I plan on rooting this thing eventually so i didn't want to install it if it would create problems trying to root it later on down the road. Thanks in advance

That's to go to the L4 update which re-locks the bootloader. You can unlock both, but I'd recommend just rooting and unlocking it now because it'd be easier.
By the way, I came up from the E4GT as well Welcome brother!
Might want to read the very 1st post in this section... it is pinned.

Well I took the update and unlocking and rooting took like 5 minutes or maybe less.
But I will say there were a LOT of people that had a LOT of problems unlocking and rooting.

I rooted and unlocked after the update. Whe and if you have rooted, i would check out the Paranoid Android 3.0 ROM.
