MHL on jellybean - HTC EVO 3D

Probably a stupid question, but can any jellybean roms allow for an MHL adapter to be used?

It doesn't work very well on AOSP based ROM's.

Alright thanks, just wondering why no JB roms mentioned it. I guess I'll be sticking with ICS.

New Sprint ICS leak ROM

Has anyone made the new ICS Sprint leak stock rooted version CWM flashable?

You know.... People that don't know how to title their topics are getting really annoying here at XDA. NO! THERE WAS NO LEAK! STOP ASKING! When we come out with one, you'll know it.
It's almost like I see a thread like this every other day. lol. But oh well. However, I so can't wait for it to come out cause I need to re-do my phone soon.
Yeah just wanted the stock ICS one. I thought I had read about a leak guess not. :'(

To answer the original question, while it is not exactly stock, Mean Rom Ics has incorporated the latest leak files into his Rom (and improved on them). It is mainly stock with improvements.

Give Booster Shot, the Kingdom port, a chance. It's fully functional, including 3D. It's my daily driver. It is not based on the VM leak! It's been wonderful for me as the other ICS ROM's based on the leaks have something about them that is quirky on my phone. The port has no quirks for me.

Kernel source code

With kernel source code being released will there be more roms rolling out?

Great news! Just got an Amaze when it was on sale on Mobilicity. Looking forward to more ROM's being available.
Kernel source should cover all amaze devices on 4.0.
And I was just about to trade my amaze because of the lack of support HTC was giving us lol

Hey guys i know the source should apply for all amazes, but then why are there different sources for carriers on htc dev? Wouldnt it be easier to just release a universal carrier source code for a specific device?

It's an OEM thing since different device updates are released with slight modified system apps so they choose to release individual source for each, probably hoping we won't figure the obvious out, but we can run just about any carrier ROM can't we? Example, every other carrier device whether s-on or s-off running Energy rom which is T-Mobile based, which has a TMo kernel included.

Yea rooted / unlocked BL with S-On. I know I can't update my raido with S-On but wasn't sure if kernel needed S-Off or not.

Its possible but it might be difficult. Everything's possible with android except putting android on a iPhone . I don't know much but my guess would be that its baked into the framework but I could be wrong

Quick conversion question

If I do the conversion, can I use whatever Rom I want straight from the n4 threads so long as I flash the fixes?
Sent from my LG-E970 using xda app-developers app
don't do it
Why would you even think of converting at this point? there's a 98% working AOSP rom for our phone now, and it's just going to get better...

Anyone porting Ubuntu touch to HTC Rezound?

Just wondering if anyone's gonna port it or if anyone had tried. And if it's been done, I want a link

Im saying a possible ubuntu mobile port could be a possibility in the future...just depends on its full release and compatibilty
It all a matter of if anyone wanted to make a build. On Canonical's website, quite a few HTC devices are shown as being developed for, such as the Evo 4G LTE.
I'm sure it's very doable, but we'd have to have that one dev who wants to really do it.
