What is a good camera app? - Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note II

I like all the effects and options on the stock touchwiz camera but I also like to run aosp ROMs. What are camera apps people are using on aosp? What makes them great? I really would like the app to include the ability to filter out an individual color and leave the rest black and white as in the example below:

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
So what does everyone suggest?

I beleive the stock 4.1 camera filters out colors. But you are running a different Rom so I don't know.

That is what I took the picture with. I am looking for something with all the features of the stock note 2 camera that I can use on aosp ROMs. When I search the play store there are over 1100 results and that is a lot to try...

Vignette does it really well (not a free app though, but has a lot of filters, etc including color highlight)
I also use Pixlr, which has a lot of options.

The Camera recommend is Camera FV-5. It puts all the controls at your fingertips and can even show a historgram on the screen if you wish. To remove some of the colour you could use Colour Splash. I can also recommend the following camera/retouching apps
PicsPlayPro, Snapseed, TouchRetouch -awesome with S-Pen when you know it's limitations, AfterFocus -also awesome with the S-Pen, Pixlr, LittleCamera, Aviary - great sharpness tool, HDR Pro.
For blemish removal and layering with images or text you can use SketchBookMobile.
You will have to spend some money on a few of these but it is money well spent and not an awful lot when you thin% about what you get.

Thanks, and ya great superb work.
had this for quite a while. found this on google play and on a site that i forgot the name.
Nice but has a few bugs. Wonder why it took a while for this to be posted..... Nice share buddy. Keep it up!
wp7 launcher is quite good and smooth. except need a little bit tweaking. wp8? mybe I just need to wait a little longer
need improvement
-very smooth and lite but lack of cutomization(cannot arrange tile like on launcher 7).
-some tile is overlap with other (eg. youtube tile ontop of gallery tile)
-application icon also have some resolution issue.
if this is fixed, i will surely use it as my default launcher.
awesome. . thx
i'd stick with L7,
we only have 3 column tiles visible on our 3 inch screen,
so wp8 launchers are not worth it

Wanam Lidroid 15 Toggle Mod request

Hello I am not sure if this is right place to ask but here goes.
I am using DXLJ2 Novena Alliance Rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2014135 and I believe that it has the Wanam Lidroid 15 Toggle Mod baked in.
Wondering if it would be possible for the 15 toggles to have links to other apps besides the flashlight?
Apps I find myself using on a semi consistent basis are screen filter, hovernote, aircalc, and calendar but it would be great to link to any app installed.

I think I know what you desire, only I haven't seen anything like that in the notification window.
However! There is something you might be interested in. In the new releases it's called pie. There's third party apps you can install now though. Check out this app called pie and this forum post called LMT. You should be able to install one of those and you can set the triggers or gestures to open various apps!
I hope that helps ya out a little.
Thanks for the reply! I have yet to try pie, I think I would have to use a different launcher, other than nova to enable pie control?
I am tempted to try it, as my current setup is nice but I running around 600MB of RAM out of 720MB

and am constantly clearing the cache to improve performance. I found turning off background processes, setting limit to none, as well as forcing graphics acceleration helps considerably.
On my next set of days off, think I will do a refresh and give LMT a try.

[APP]Eyeprint App Lock Beta

Hey Guys,
Its a great application landing to NOTE 2
Most people make do with a PIN or pattern lock to secure their Android devices. If you need something a little stronger (or just want to feel like Ethan Hunt) EyeVerify has just released the beta version of an app that uses honest-to-goodness eye scans. Eyeprint takes a photo of your face, then matches the pattern of blood vessels on your eyeballs to a previous photo to access locked apps.
{

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Technically, Eyeprint isn't using the classic retina scan to grant access - that would require a small amount of infrared light to illuminate the membrane at the back of the eye. It uses the same principle of amazingly unique vein patterns, but it picks them up from the corners of your eyes. Users need a front-facing camera of at lest 2 megapixels. To create the baseline, you'll have to follow the instructions while using the rear camera, looking to the far left and right to let the camera pick up the veins on your eyes. After that, a quick scan of your eyes looking left and right from the front-facing cam should do the trick.
EyeVerify hopes to expand its services to other developers on Android and iOS through an SDK. At present, the app can only lock other apps - you can't actually unlock your phone with an eye scan. (There's a quick "lock all" option for the truly paranoid.) Early feedback from the Play Store indicates that it's very efficacious, so hopefully more devices will be enables as the beta program continues. The Eyeprint App Lock Beta is free to try for 30 days.

looks promising..
Anyone have the apk? google says not compatible with note 8, I say 'let me try'
This app did not get very good reviews from the users on the Playstore

Anyone else hate the stock wallpapers?

From time to time I like to utilize a good stock wallpaper for maybe the lock screen or so forth....
Am I the only one that thinks that the stock wallpapers really suck on this phone? There is only one that I like... Just a thing I guess....

Does it matter?

You can always customize the wallpaper.
It's not a real big deal. Just an observation... Wondered if it was just me... Haha. Guess it is. <walks away in awkward silence>

I don't think I've ever liked a stock wallpaper on any phone lol

I actually like the dark ones - very elegant! To each his own I guess!
I have the green wavey one on my lock screen, that being said I'll probably swap it eventually because the white spots when viewed from and angle keep freaking me out that part of the display has gone bad. I'm partial to the geometric android stock wallpapers and I found and app called plastexo in the app store that has some intersting 2d vector style designs.
I changed mine within minutes of getting the device...

Matt
If think this is kinda funny. This is the first And only phone I have not changed the home screen yet. Lock screen yes. I think the stock home is just so simple yet elegant. Everything just pops off the screen.. Ive tried to make black backgrounds over the years but never liked them. This one. I like..?
