[Q] MarketEnabler code for Korea (sloved) - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey guys I'm looking for the region code for a korean gsm provider.
I searched for hours but still couldn't finde one. Well yes I found the list here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=797625 but there seems to be no Korea.
Would be verry nice if some one may help me out with this.
Thanks in advance ~ Swavnir :cyclops:

Hi,
does anyone know if this was available for download allready?
The website says that it is temporarely unavailable.
Was that available in the past?
Its the german O2 Rom for XDA2.
regards,
Silver
Forget this download it's awful....
Very unstable, Cleartype problems, nothing better only worse..
I guess it is removed because of th homezone problems
Alex
O2 Rom
I do not care a lot on the homezone since my entire town is one.
But my XDA 2 hangs some times...
My ROm is older then this.
Does anybody have this?

Silver

Hi,
are you referring to this link http://www.o2online.de/o2/kunden/technikundeinst/xdasoftware/xda2update/index.html ? The statement O2 posted there about the non availability has been up for at least 4 weeks! I have never seen it being available and I did check just about daily.
I had a replacement Xda II with 1.66.01GER delivered which worked fine. I did not notice any differences between the previous Xda II with 1.60.52GER installed and the 1.66.01GER.
Cheers
O2 rom
is there another source for a newer german rom for the XDA2?
regards,
Silver

Import Guidance?

Hey!
I'm thinking I don't want to wait for a carrier to have this ready and am going to look into importing one.
Any of U guys have any experience with importing?
Can you point me to a vendor?
Thanks for any guidance with this.
Tim
Best way is to Get the Europe SGS II shipped to you through online vendors like amazon.co.uk or something like that! Google it! plus Every one on XDA including me own European version/region Phone cuz it gets updates quick and Development is At its best!

[Q] Can firmware from a different location cause problem on Galaxy Note GT-N7000 ?

Hi Guys,
First of all sorry for the lame question. I'm a noob here, I tried to found the answer on this forum and on other internet resources but didn't find it.
Well, I bought a Galaxy Note GT-N7000 in Indonesia. (PDA: N7000DXLC2, PHONE: N7000DXLC1, CSC: N7000OLBLC2). The installed languages are asian languages (+English), so I would like to change the firmware to a European version, since I would like to have Hungarian language on the phone (especially but not only because I would like to be able to type messages with Swype). My plan is to change to this one: N7000XXLA6, N7000OXXLA1
The question: The new firmware belongs to a different location than the old one. Can it cause any kind of problem? If yes, what should I expect?
Many thanks for your answers in advance!
There is no reason why it wouldn't work. And there would be no major issues associated with this. Good luck
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus
Thank you!
I was worried only because in some forums (proably here actually) I read something like "make sure that the new firmware belongs to the same location as your phone does".
I'm glad to hear that it is not an issue.
Thanks again!

thanks in advance

Hi same problem as you. I'm not Korean, but I live in Korea. You should check Korean websites like Naver or Daumn for a Korean developer (this is the country of high-tech and education after all). I've been searching them..but my Korean isn't good and no ID number to post for help on them...plz post if you find a solution
thanks

thanks a lot now i have clearer ideas.
but is there no way to get root permissions?
sorry but I'm a stubborn Genoese and I want to be able to remove the personalization that gives me vodafone and to do this you need these roots.
I want to clarify that I am not talking about the vodafone brand, so the logo when I turn on etc. but the line that appears above the firmware code VDF.it etc.
Good luck if you find someone let me know lol I have been searching also with no luck lol

hello I wanted to tell you that I tried to call the huawei italia service center directly, who told me that they cannot directly provide the unlock code from their website and try to go to a service center in my city and try to see if they they can give it to me. Do you think it is feasible or stupid?
