Battery with 5 dots underneath - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello I just got my phone back from Samsung after I had to send it in because it wouldn't turn on or charge so I sent the phone to get repaired and today I got it back but now I'm having a problem it doesn't seem to be charging but it is just on if you know what I mean. I'm getting a battery icon with 5 dots underneath like this:

[Q] Is your camera properly centred on the back?

Only a weird little thing I've noticed and it doesn't affect usage -
I've noticed my camera lens isn't in the middle of the circle Doesn't exactly matter but it hardly screams quality and precision, etc etc.
Will try get a picture up...
Anyone else the same?
Sorry for the Mr blurrycam - only camera I have other than my phone is my webcam...

Mine looks exactly the same. It has nothing to do with build quality.
Likewise but who says its supposed to be in the middle .

So they have a reason for it being off centre?

How to know if the battery is about to die

Hi
When I switch off the cell and the battery symbol is shown, it is shown with a yellow triangle and a thermometer. Does that mean that my battery is about to die?
Thanks,
Vishal
Never seen this before can you post a screenshot?

Also, this is when the charger is not plugged in. And there is no clean way for me to restart my phone. I have to plug in the charger and then only I can switch on the phone.
I am on 2.3.5 and this was fine till a couple of days back, and now the phone has become a big mess. Tried reflashing, but with no success
Will appreciate any help.
Thanks,
Vishal

I've Had that a couple of times when I put my phone down a little on the non gentle side!!!! For me it was a slightly loose fitting battery (the anker 1950) which i sorted with some tape.
My battery stats always showed an odd drop of about 10% whenever this happed.
So normal (ish)!!!
i think its pretty common but most people dont notice it since its only really visible when the phone only been on for a few minutes. then the diagram will show a longer time and therefore the gap will be smaller or close.

Well I'm not 100% sure but I don't think the "waterproof" is supposed to support Water with Cloreen.

I'm 100% sure what is causing the issue isn't the chlorine.
Try drying it?
Leaving it in rice for a few days. It may or may not solve the problem, but it's worth a shot.

Huawei s7-301u - not charging

Hi,
I've tried few different chargers with no effect. So I have decided to open back panel and I've noticed that when I attempt to charge device battery stays completely cold but area right under sim card slot getting really hot.
Is that mean battery need to be replaced or is it something else.
Thanks for any help.

Try unplugging the battery and plugging it in. If it gets hot still, it is likely a short. If it doesn't, it is likely the battery.
