[SPLASH] CyanogenMod 10 - HTC Droid DNA

Hello everyone,
As you probably know if you want to flash a splash screen, drewx2 is working hard on bringing CyanogenMod to our device, and went with the first build with phone network/data support today, which allowed me to switch to it.

But the stock splash and the CM animation are somehow weird when following each other ^^' Thus I decided to make my own splash screen that would be more in the tones of CM.
So I came with this and just thought I'd share if anyone find it interesting
Here's what it looks like :

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
(full size : http://files.unit-apps.com/splashscreen_generic_7154.png)
Instructions for flashing :
Reboot in bootloader.
In a terminal, type :
Code:
fastboot flash splash1 /path/to/cmsplash.img
then
Code:
fastboot reboot
Done
Let me know if you have any error. (Worked fine here and very good looking imo ^^)

Q[is this a eMMC bug?]

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=55620161&postcount=970
That was my original post. And I'm not getting any respond. I have a Moto x DE xt1053 unlocked bootloader and Rooted. I started flashing all sort off Roms and gapps. And the other day I was just browsing system files and I've seen the log . and I notice that my phone got really slower too. Boot logo shows but when its done it goes black screen for at least 5 sec and then goes to lock screen.

Those are the screenshot. As mentioned on my original post . the last image was from a website that sells mobile spy. And I even read a thread saying that it has something to do with rf-42 firmware bug.
I don't know and I'm kinda afraid to do anything with my phone . coz I'm still a noobie in flashing and I don't wanna break my phone.

[Q]Help with my first CM port.

Hello. We have a working CM11 port (tegra 4i, A.k.a Wiko Wax), and so I thought I could port CM12 with it. I compiled cm12 successfully as you can see on this screenshot :

"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Then I flashed it on my device (using TWRP 2.8.1.0), and nothing. It never boots up, it doesn't go further the boot logo(it stays there for a couple of minutes then the device restarts itself), it doesn't even start the bootanimation, so I can't even take a logcat.
If anyone can help I can provide mor logs.
Furthermore the system folder seems to be intact, it contains everything my device needs to boot up, yet it doesn't ....
Can you give us a Logcat of the boot ? Is there any kernel panic (/proc/last_kmsg) or tombstones (/data/tombstones) ?

Nexus 7 Wont Boot

I have a 2012 Nexus 7 and it has a really weird problem, when it boots it goes to this screen and won't do anything if I click start. If I go to recovery mode, it says Booting Failed in the top left, it seems that android is removed, but I'm not sure. Sorry for bad picture quality

Looks like you will need to try and restore by flashing the original factory img files.
Guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1907796 (hint, skip all of the SDK stuff for adb and fastboot and just use this - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2317790) . Also, make sure to grab the same update or newer, for best results.
I prefer doing things manually as it is good to learn how things work, but if that is just above your expertise, you can also check this out: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1907796
Good luck.

G Play Mini flashing problems

Hey guys
So, I've recently got my Huawei G Play Mini (aka Honor 4C/CHC-U01/h6210sft/wtv other names this phone has), and I've been trying to flash an unofficial lineageOS ROM onto it with TWRP (3.0.2) and I've been getting some problems, like:
- The fastboot doesn't allow me to enter many of the commands like fastboot flashing unlock and fastboot oem device-info, due to the error demonstrated below; (on the bottom of the post)
- If I try to flash a ROM through TWRP, it also fails. (it's on the attachments)
Here's some info:
The smartphone has been upgraded to EMUI 4.0 (Android 6.0);
And yes, the bootloader is unlocked (see attachments);
The phone is using a P8Lite ROM (which is indeed fully compatible with the phone).
- So, I wanted to ask for some help, because I really want to get through these "locks". Thanks ahead!

You have erased/deleted your Boot partition. No need to worry tho. You will need to flash the stock rom or boot image using a computer. There are many tutorials out there for that.
Just like this one :
P.S. the device is different but the brand and problem are same, so you should have no problem.
