There will definitely be some lag, dunno how much, but dont expect a smooth gameplay as console or PC. Even some points the game will FC as Fifa 12 takes a lot of processing power
And what about other games like modern combact 3 fallen nation?
my own opinion, those games may run smooth. as the device is powerful enough.
you never know until you try it by yourself.

It isnt a 500mb game..dude its a 1.5gb game..it takes time for download..so wanna knw this before downloading
well, sorry for your problem.
i just give my opinion,
perhaps somebody can tell you about that game.

Im in the same situation as you!
My thought is that it's not worth it.
The game may end up lag, or the resolution does not match with our phone which is higher than hvga.
Actually I think the game will end up smooth. If xperia play runs it smooth, then it well be smooth too on our devices because we use the same processor 1ghz scorpion.
If you have a fast internet speed to download the data, then why not

I tried to go to Google Play using a computer.
Login with my device, it says "This app is incompatible"
At this point, you should not even think about installing it.
Hope this helps...

Modern combat works perfectly smooth (when you open the app it will give you FC a couple times but you just tap wait and it will run)
I never tried fifa but I think it has the same requirements
Hi to all!
FIFA 12 runs perfectly smooth in the WT19a, i'm so surprised. But, as you said before, it uses around 1.5 GB on the SD card, and 13 MB on system memory. But that's worth it! It runs very fast, as i'm on stock rom, and the settings are all default. Try it!
PD: As i know, LWW has the same processor and RAM size as the Xperia Play, so i think the game will run nice
Thank you guys for ur comments..i will dwnload it now..i have the same question for modern combact 3 Fallen nation whÃch also has 1.5 gb data.Anyone tried it yet????
All u temple run lover, here is the new release by imangi studios in association with disney.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...SwyLDIwMywiY29tLmRpc25leS5icmF2ZV9nb29nbGUiXQ..
the game is really gud and a new experience. But it doesn't beat the original temple run (IMHO). Lets share high scores. Be honest and dont use any hack. I have scored 15 million in original temple run. Played this game about half an hour and scored about 3 lacs.
Pros: Graphics are nice.
Cons: I hate the running character
Its a bit laggy on CM9 (13th March Epsylon3 build for green lense)
4lac or something

I want to get this phone and have stock ICS/Sense on it!
However, I want to be able to play games smoothly, and I want this phone to be compatible with lots of games.
With 1GB of RAM and 1.5 GHz Dual-Core processor, that shouldn't be an issue... right?!?!
I want games. Like, Angry Birds, Bad Piggies, Fun Run, Temple Run, Infectonator, Dead Trigger, Shadowgun, etc.
Can I do this? Or am I asking for too much!!
Thanks in advance, guys!!

Games for me run nice and smoothly - just keep in mind we have a very intense screen that will drain battery if too bright and on for too long.
Edit:
I have played nearly all of those games on NRG's Stock ICS ROM, and have experienced 0 lag while playing them.

Good luck and enjoy!
Yeah
Yeah you can play Angry Birds, Bad Piggies, Fun Run, Temple Run, Infectonator, Dead Trigger, Shadowgun without any lag .Also i have played GTA 3,Wild Blood, specially Modern Combat 4 without a single lag!Amaze is a monster for any work!Games or whatever!
Thanks for the input!
I'm having a hard time deciding between this and the One S.
Get the Nexus 4 don't even think about the Htc one s (I am assuming that you have a budget). It would cost you around 250 dollars for an amaze in extremely good condition with box on eBay, while you can get the Nexus 4 for 350 dollars (16gb) version from the play store which is in a league of its own and quite cheap with high development. Just think it would be more future proof for 100 more bucks (its unlocked as well). It's such a beautiful device too

Sorry for the hijack but I'd like to ask the gamers here one quick question if you prefer I can open a different thread but I'm running NRG rom and lately (after installing and playing Hill Climb Racing) my phone is acting out.
First started with lots of lag on the game (sometimes is impossible to play) and then I get the black screen that won't wake up (yes I do have the CPU @ 374 or whatever it is that it has to be at idle).
Any help???
Thanks,

Sounds like you are running out of ram, hence the lagging. Close some apps in the background and see if that helps. Secondly it can be the rom because when I was on cm my games were lagging (temple run was lagging bad) switched to sense 4.1 and it was back to being buttery smooth. Hope that helps
Thanks, I'll try closing apps (if I figure out how to do it )
So i was trying out the NDS emulator nds4droid on my note 2, and tried Zelda Spirit Tracks on it. Of course gameplay was bad and so most of the game but then i wondered if there were other any playable games that could be loaded on the emulator with the Note 2.
What about a list of games that work correctly?
Ill start with my two cents
##NOT WORKING##
-Zelda Spirit Tracks (horrible frame rate,SLOW, bad sound)
You test juste this game ? ^^

Well, you'll be amazed to see that a lot of games are working. But only some of them are fast enough to be really played.
Here is what I've tried so far
-Mario Kart DS=>everything working, but definitly too slow to be really playable (maybe 24 fps?)
-Harvest Moon=> 2D game so not too slow, playable
-New super Mario=>everything working, but definitly too slow to be really playable (maybe 24 fps?)
-Nintendogs=>everything working, but definitly too slow to be really playable (maybe 30 fps?)
-Mario&Luigi partners in time=> fully playable, 60fps can be reached just swap the screens to play comfortably. Cheat codes working
-Dr Kawashima's Brain Training=> good speed, but using the S-pen for some of the trainings remains too slow + some gfx glitches
-Cocoto Racer=>=>everything working, but definitly too slow to be really playable (maybe 24 fps?)
-Simpsons game=> fully playable at full speed (60fps can be reached). Sadly the Simpsons' voices are laggy but that's not a real problem
-Mario & Luigi Bowser's Inside Story: strange, it's really way slower than Partners in time, so for me, not really playable
I'm about half wat at Mario&Luigi partners in time now
I'm sure this is common knowledge, but Pokemon Black/White and Black2/White2 run while patched, but run incredibly slow as well. I think the highest in-game framerate i got was 21fps. I haven't tried, but I've heard that the Pokemon Platinum and below games work well enough to play.
Spirit Tracks does run quite choppy, however I will argue that it is playable with a moderate amount of frame-skip.
I got through the first dungeon before I got distracted by something else.
Im happy to report that Okamiden works like a charm!
A friend of mine is telling me a ROM needs "time to set in" and you need to give it ATLEAST 12 hours to test a ROM....now I'm NOT REPEAT NOT talking about battery life...I'm talking about smoothness of the ROM in general...I test a ROM but looking through all menus and making sure everything is working properly... I play a couple heavy games like GTA Vice City and Modern Combat and if they play smooth then everything is great....basically just looking for your opinions out there...what do you guys think does a ROM need 12 hours to set in or can you determine the quality of the ROM (I.E. "Smoothness") in 30-60 minutes by playing a couple of heavy games (Need for Speed... Modern Combat... GTA Vice City) and making sure it can handle your daily tasks?

Idk about 12 hours. Most devs say to wait about 5 minutes to let the system settle after a fresh flash.
What youre describing seems more like kernel behavior (assuming your rom includes one) as oposed to rom behavior.
A kernel does need time to settle to achieve its peak performance, generally a few days. Its why youll notice high android usage or OS usage on a fresh flash.
