I ordered my Note II from Amazon and when it arrived it didn't have headphones in the box. Wasnt it supposed to ship with some? ? I understand that usually suck, but I could use some cheap ones for working out.

so paullie vicious (good friend of mines) and me were talking and i told him that still dont have none of this roms ported even with ril already working... he says he would love to develop for the dna to add all this roms in the tittle BUT doesn't have one. hes developing for the note 2... if you guys dont know who paullie is look him up one of the best dev at porting roms ... if only i was rich i would buy him a dna right now.

I have the Note 2 but not really to crazy about Samsung development and the only reason I got this device was because it basically fell in my lap from XDA TV member Teddy who happens to live minutes from me.. The phone has superuser on it already. I downloaded ROM manager to check the recovery and it has CWM and TWRP. Is it safe to install custom roms or is there other steps that I need to take? The baseband is vraljb.... Android version 4.1.1

Thanks guys worked flawlessly...although I didnt get an aroma menu at all, the Rom just flashed. Will have to look into that. Still cant believe I only paid 200 bucks off craigslist for this phone. Nice upgrade from my S3.

Awwh man I hope not... That would really suck, especially after getting used to the size of this screen.... nothing else would compare. The guy seemed straight up though. If this comes back to bite me them I am done with craigslist for devices. I'll keep you guys up posted.

If you do an insurance job and get another phone. They don't ban your original for weeks. So he could activate it. But it's still on a list to be banned.

Stay optimistic! And I think I heard somewhere that when the note 2 phone is reported the Sim gets "burned" and So I've read... You can get a new Sim card from Verizon and have it work? If its legit, then you got a killer deal. The cheapest GN2 that I've seen was $350 but it had a cracked screen. I see some for $200-250, but I am sure those are scams. The next time you buy a Verizon phone, call *611 and verify the ESN status before handing over money or trading phones. A legit seller will not mind at all.

Just rooted my AT&T version. Have had it for 3 hours now. Man this thing is super quick...unlike my gs4. The form factor feels similar to the gs4. Overall I am pleased.
Me and verks were still the first to receive our ATT g2 , hell I'm sim unlocked and rooted with screen protector and case =P

That would be awesome, I've always wanted on screen buttons but they look really strange on a device such as ours that already has hardware buttons. I love it on my n7 because I can add a dedicated menu button if I want.
