Maybe a stupid question, but have you waited long enough?
First boot after installing a new rom can take a while
Sent from my GT-P7100 using XDA Premium HD app
ok, is no so stupid, in fact is a good question, but yes I awaited almost 1 hour... I can´t understand boot is ok to perform a download mode but it can´t get started.... and only worked with odin and stock roms.

Did you do a data wipe/factory reset before you started flashing?
I got the same situation with flashing cm9 because I didn't do a wipe.
you should use the Wipe.zip script to clean up all the trash in your tab to make sure you can actually flash the firmware correctly. I got a similar situation the first time I tried this stuff out.
Recently I had a "funnier" problem because I flashed official cyanogen on top of unnoficial and the results were corrupted video drivers.
easiest way for sure:
-download 3.01 from samfirmware.com
-flash everything from inside the zip (modem, tab and bootloader) with odin 1.83
-check if the tab works (if it's not, it's possibly bricked, see emergency repair down in my post)
-download clockwork recovery and a recent rom (if you want to use a specific rom take that one, if you just want root, take any recent rom)
-go in fastboot mode
-type "fastboot oem unlock"
-put the clockwork file "recovery.img" in your fastboot directory
-now type "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img"
-then type "fastboot boot recovery.img"
-when booted in recovery, flash your desired rom
-If you just want root : extract the rom zip you dld and take superuser.apk from system/app and su from system/xbin, now put both in the same directory as adb (same one as fastboot), now type "adb push superuser.apk /system/app/superuser.apk" and then "adb push su /system/xbin/su", reboot tab and you have root on stock rom
EMERGENCY repair: if the tab does not start after flashing with odin, take a piece of strong tape and tape the power button so it's constantly pressed, leave the tab alone for 12 hrs, then charge it and pray it boots
No thanks needed
thanks
@richard: my file is fine , thanks for the link
@wiisper: how can I perform?? my fastboot mode is wipeless
@sjpedro22: how ca I fllash the wipe.zip, ODIN? musT I "PUSH" with adb?? where is wipe.zip?? (gracias)

Use fastboot to flash and boot a recovery like in the how to root thread. From there on you can do a factory reset.
If the wipe doesn't work you have to flash a stock rom.
THIS GUIDE IS FOR XT910/GSM USERS
So guys in this thread There is nothing new that I am posting, But it is necessary to have all the official ICSs all together at one place so that other users can flash it from one place.
I am not taking any credits for this work neither I am saying that I have created any tool to help you guys, I am making a guide of how to unbrick and update to ICS so that some people who are bricked and want to reflash the ics in their devices, they can do it. Also This Thread Can be used to update from any other European Leak To Official ICS (of Europe).
So in this guide we are gonna learn how to flash the official ics of the different regions. Depending upon your region and system version flash the suitable ics.
Before we begin I would like to tell you that thanks to HSD, We now have two different methods of unbricking:-
1. Using the Official OTAs
2. Using the fastboot files
How to unbrick and flash ics using the official OTAs
Currently I have only three Official OTAs you are welcome to link to me other Other Official OTAs.

The Procedure
1.Copy The OTA to your external sd card.

3.Put the boot.img file on your desktop.
4.You need the system_signed file, to get that:

4.b. Extract the gingerbread fastboot files which you downloaded (extract those files which are of your own region your region).
4.c. After Extraction, there will be a file called system_signed file in it copy that out and put it on your desktop.
5. After you put the system_signed file on your desktop, make sure you have 5 files [system_signed,boot.img,eternity project fastboot(Has three files)] on your desktop.
6.Now boot your device into AP Fastboot Mode.First switch of your device, then hold vol-,vol+ and power buttons all three together at the same time for 10 seconds.
Then you will enter in a screen,i.e, Boot mode selection menu where the third option would be AP Fastboot.Scroll down using vol- and then select using vol+.
After you enter in AP Fastboot mode connect your device to the PC.

eprj-mfastboot flash system system_signed (For All the Regions)
9. After All the files are flashed correctly, disconnect your device from the PC, then hit power button to switch it off.
Then again hold vol-,vol+ and power buttons all three together at the same time for 10 seconds and then enter into second option,i.e, recovery or stock recovery.
10. When you enter into recovery you will an android lying on his back, just hit Vol+ & Vol- together to see the options.

For Any Assistance I have made a video for you guys :cyclops:
How to unbrick using fastboot files
Well many of us are already familiar with how to use the fastboot files, but there are some who dont know how to flash them.
For such users I would like to tell you that we have two tools which can flash the fastboot files in our device,
1. RSD Lite (Official Motorola Tool)
2.Flash it (Created By KHOLK) (Thanks Mate)
It entirely is up to you to decide which tool you want to use. I myself use flahsit.
If you want to use flash it You can see this video to learn to use it.
If you want to use RSD Lite see this guide By zeidof. Thanks buddy.
Fastboot files Of Official ICSs
1. Retail Brasil ICS 4.0.4
2. Claro Brasil ICS 4.0.4
3. Tim Brasil ICS 4.0.4
4.Oi Brasil ICS 4.0.4
5. Personal Argentina ICS 4.0.4
6.a. 672.180.41
6.b. 672.180.33
Both Are European
7. 672.180.291.XT910.AmericaMovil.en.01
8.Chinese ICS
Remember Asian and European users can flash each others roms, rest cant, kindly flash the rom of your own region, Then I am not responsible if anything happens to your phone. Also remember after updating to ICS you cant go back to gb.
If you have any other Official OTA OR Fastboot files You are Happy to Link Me to that

First, your RazR is recognized by RSD, right?
You get the preflash... error, which is happen when you try to downgrade to GB or using the wrong fastboot for your region.
So where's your RazR from?

Hi Everybody,
Any help would be appreciated,
My phone is xt910s Korean version, I tried to upgrade it with this post [OTA] 672.180.41.XT910.Retail.en.EU
But the phone was bricked
Then I tried this solution UNbrick Motorola Razr XT910S/K
Step 1: Erase CID
Step 2: FLash Firmware
SPYDERIRD_U.01.6.7.3-94_SPI-324_04.11.01P_0A.74_ASIA_RETAIL_HKTW_CFC_HWp2b_SIG NED.xml.zip" archive (firmware 4.0.4)
Then use update "Blur_Version.673.94.328.XT910.AsiaRetail.en.03.zip
Step 3 Fix Boot + Mass Storage
And now all is good and my Razr is alive again
My question is can I upgrade to Jelly bean like EU JB, And how?
Thank you all for listening and hope you could help
You can easily flash 4.1.2 EU fastboot files onto your XT910S. You just need to delete cdt.bin line from the *.xml file of the EU 4.1.2 fastboot package. You only need to boot the device with BP Tools and root it, then install Boot Menu Manager to get rid of BP-tools process.

Thank you friend for your help, would you advice me to try official android 4.1.2 jelly bean firmware 982.124.14.xt910.Retail.en.EU?
And should I delete this line from the XML file
<Step operation="flash" partition="CDT.bin" filename="CDT.bin_signed" MD5="......"/>
So sorry for being so detailed, you know brick it once start to read more carefully, brick it twice you probably deserve it.

Yeah, you need to delete the following line and save the xml file. Start rsd lite and choose your edited *.xml file.
<step MD5="7efbcdf1bb0128b241865dab3bb50f58" filename="cdt.bin_signed" partition="cdt.bin" operation="flash"/>
But if you ask me, you better read and flash according to this thread and learn the tricks for 672.300.404 and then flash the custom rom ARTMOD CN400-430 afterwards.
Thank you so much my friend for your honest advice,
I'm downloading the ROM in your thread, but couldn't figure what you mean about the "tricks for 672.300.404"
I'm going with 672.300.404.XT910 Rom
Thank you so much my friend for your honest advice,
I'm downloading the ROM in your thread, Hope to could go through it successfully.
could I go directly to ARTMOD CN400-430 in another rom slot , you know that I'm already erased the cid and on Ics and used bmm to root, what do you think my friend?
You can flash artmod cn to system1 as main rom or flash it in system3-4-5-6. I like it having as my main rom with eclipse v5.1 build 6 as 2nd rom.

Hi,
After finishing step 7 you should be able to use Boot Menu Manager in your ICS ROM, It's a great app and very dangerous too, so please before completing the next steps please read about the BMM carefully, you could find this thread very helpful to understand BMM,
8.A long as you never applied JB by official OTA or by official RSD\Fastboot, your CDT is still on ICS level,
you should backup your kernel, Cid,Rom by BMM on external micro SD card Before doing any changes,
you should download JB ROM to install it in your Atrix I recommended ArtMod CN 404-430 4.1.2 v1.45 (17/10/2013)
It's a very good JB Rom and you would keep your CDT on ICS level,
After completed your backup and your phone is charged and you downloaded the new JB Rom and Kernel and RADIO,you should continue to the next steps
9. Put the new JB Rom & Kernel and RADIO into your micro Sd card, make sure you put them in the root of the memory card,
10. boot in custom recovery BMM,
11.wipe data/factory reset
12.wipe cache/dalvik cache
13.install zip (any slot in BMM I would recommended to install the rom into system 1), wait installation process finish
14.backup and erase your cid in BMM
15.flash attached kernel and radio in BMM (bp.img is a radio)
16.Reboot your system
And you are done.

I only have experience with M and HD but I believe the OG Razr is the same in that you need to go into fastboot mode on the phone, prior to plugging it into the computer. If you're leaving the phone plugged in and then trying to reboot into fastboot, that might be causing the error.
same here

i just fixed my razr! be sure to check your phone it has dead battery or low battery or still has battery and just follow this simple steps:
A. Enter AP Fastboot mode. how to enter ap fastmode mode?
1. press and hold the volume up & down buttons and the power button simultaneously for i think 10 secs.
2. you can also view it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=togllOW3qvw
3. once youre on the Recovery mode:
3.1. Scroll down by pressing the volume down button and choose AP Fastboot mode
3.2 Once youre in fastboot mode connect your phone on the computer and launch RSD Lite application
3.3. RSD lite will detect your phone once its connected
3.4 then proceed to F.
B. if you phone is already lowbat?
you just cant figure it out for you have no OS to show the battery when you charge it.
you have to use motorola factory cable. i have created mine and you can follow the steps here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XwwI_6doBWk
C. if everything is OK then just follow A.
D. download RSD Lite application. you can search that on google. Im using 5.7 version and its working.
E. Download the Firmware here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2231289
1. there are different versions of razr firmwares you can choose depending your choice or place. Im from Philippines, i supposed to choose Asean version but razr has no Asean version for JB release so I use Europe version. Thats depending on you actually.
F. Open the RSD lite application:
1. on the "Filename" window choose the "Firmware" that you downloaded by clicking on the "Box" (has 3 dots) beside the filename window.
2. a pop up windown will appear and choose "Decompress only".
3. then click "Start" button on the RSD lite application.
4. Wait...
5. Wait...
6. Wait...
7. Voila! congratulations your Razr is alive!
proven and tested motorola phones are extremely great when it comes to quality!
i downloaded the custom recovery for t20 (TWRP-3.2.3-TwrpBuilder-t20-2019-01-18_20-02) from gethub "i cant attach the link because of the forums rules"
then flashed it using fastboot , but then the tablet didn't boot into normal mode but i was getting the boot mode selection when i hold the (power + volume up) which gave me access to recovery mode and fastboot mode
the problem is that this custom recovery had issues with the touch screen and was basically not usable .
so i switched the phone into fastboot and i flashed the patched boot image that was working before but the tablet still didn't boot into normal mode , then i flashed the stock recovery image and now every thing gone .
the tablet has no options to boot into fastboot or recovery anymore.
basically the tablets boots and i get the teclast logo then the image of the broken android with a "no command" on screen and nothing else
i tried holding the volume up and plug in the usb-c cable but i got the same broken droid
holding volume up and power doesn't give the options for boot modes anymore
i would appreciate any help a this moment , thanks

SP Flash tool should help you. Install stock firmware and everything should be restored, a device on MTK isn't so easy to kill. Just check the revision of your device (E1 or E2, on the back cover). I tried this TWRP and already spoke of that control it only with mouse (https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=78710093&postcount=5). I have my own version of the TWRP (3.2.2), there's also a problem with orientation of the screen. But PhilZ recovery works without problems, the management of keys.

Here's firmware T20 (T2E2)-Android7.1.1_V1.02_8F48 specifically for revision E2: Chinese storage or my Y.Disk
If stock firmware doesn't help you, here's my read preload-partition, I have E2 (I hope you know how to restore it in SP Flash Tool using Write Memory option).
Partition address and size:
Code:
linear_start_addr: 0x0
physical_start_addr: 0x0
partition_size: 0x40000

Those are the notes i made for my self regarding your issue:
at the end we may get an error when flashing the patched-boot.img using sp flash tool
so we need to use fastboot instead
first we need to install ADB and fastboot in the PC (follow link bellow):
https://www.howtogeek.com/239798/how-to-unlock-your-android-phones-bootloader-the-official-way/
then power off the device then (hold the volume up+ power ) to enter the BOOT mode (the usb must be disconnected)
then select the fastboot from the menu
then we can use the commands :
#fastboot flash boot c:/patched_boot.img --> make sure the image is in the C folder
if this failed we need to unlock the OEM
#fastboot oem unlock -- > then confirm from the tablet
then try again
#fastboot flash boot C:/patched_boot.img
and when its done we can issue the command for restarting tablet
#fastboot reboot

Standard phenomenon for Nougat/Oreo: to mount a partition /date, must first format it. With loss of user data!
Some TWRP editions don't require this, /data mounted.
Hello.
Thanks ViAlexSt for the help, but I´m still having problems with root
, I try with (MTK) Auto TWRP recovery porter and with MTK Auto Philz recovery porter, with success only with TWRP.
Wiith Philz only get into recovery, when go to the OS the screen freeze with Teclast Logo in red.
With TRWP have an error, not able to mound device.
Is no possible install zip or create a backup.
Any idea??
I have a T20 T2E1
Thanks
I format with SPFlashtool with format+flash option, but not work, no backup, no any wipe.
Still with message Unable to mount parition.
I will try with an older version OF TWRP.
Some screenshots.

Did you manage to do it? It's necessary to format the partition from CWM/TWRP!
Do you need additional explanations?

Thank you very much for yor reply.
Yes I try formating with twrp but the same problem, at the end I take the risk and use a downloanble image "TWRP-3.2.3-TwrpBuilder-t20-2019-01-18_20-02". The one generated with the porter doesn´t work for my Teclast T20 (T2E1).
With this one "TWRP-3.2.3-TwrpBuilder-t20-2019-01-18_20-02.img works at the first".
And after that I was able to install "Magisk-v18.0.zip" and "no-verity-opt-encrypt-6.0.zip".
And finally I get root access, but after a wile I see the propblem with the IMEI wich was Inavild, after try with many options like generate the file MP0B_001, use Uncletools, droid tools, and many other Apps.
Finally today... I found a solution in a Spanisf Forum Dual Sim, Thanks to user "pedrogem" the most easy way to set an IMEI.

Hi toxstoxs.
Is already done in this link with all the downloads https://romprovider.com/2019/01/teclast-t20-root-twrp/.
I follow these steps exept the use of adb. In stead, I used SP Flash Tool, the utility included in the the original ROM which you can download from the official Teclast website.
Be sure to make the backups mentioned in the procedure NVRAM and nandroid, in case you lose your IMEI you will need restore the NVRAM backup.
With SP flash tools, upload the recovry.img "the downloaded TWRP from the link above" and your boot.img "patched on your device with magisk manager from you original"
I use the boot image from the original rom downloaded from Teclast, which I flash previously.
Be sure to make the backups mentioned in the procedure NVRAM and nandroid, in case you lose your IMEI you will need restore the NVRAM backup.
Just take in mind... touch screeen is not working well in TWRP you should use a mouse, the touch screen is in portrait possition but wou will see the screen in landscape, I do it without a mouse but is not easy, if you can get a mouse will be bether.
Regards.

I went troght that step by step guide but :
1) into Pre requirement steps, i made a NVRAM backup with SP Tool.
step 2 is not so interesting to me as the tablet is new so no personal data are saved.
point 3 : How suppose to make a nandroid backup if no TWRP is intalled???
then.. i suppose that it mean to INSTALL a TWRP and just after make a nandroid backup right?
but...
just after ulock the bootloader and reaching step by step the point 7 and 8 of the guide,
after the command "fastboot boot recovery.img" the device reboot and go in permanent loop.
No way to access the recovery.
is there something that i may check? just once i been able to enter the twrp and the main problem were the impossibilty to access and format the /data partition so, no factory reset were possible and obviously no bbot as well (permanent boot loop).
Im not use adb tools, im only use sp fash tool.
I do it like this.
1 flash the downloaded Rom from Teclast with SP flash tool, to get all fresh.
2 Enable usb debug and oem unlock
3 copy in your device the stock boot.img from the folder firmware from the zip downloaded from Teclast,
4 in your device install the app Majisk manager and use it to patch your original boot.img
5 copy into sd the files magisk.zip, No verity opt encrypt.zip,
6 with sp flash tool flash the patched boot.img and the downloaded TWRP-3.2.3-TwrpBuilder-2019-01-18_20-02"]twrp renamed to recovery.img ”this was the only one trwp which works on my T20”https://github.com/TwrpBuilderTests/android_device_teclast_t20/releases/tag/TWRP-3.2.3-TwrpBuilder-2019-01-18_20-02
7 reboot in recovery with TWRP and install magisk.zip and no verity opt encrypt.zip
