hello again guys. does anyone know how to change boot splash in Xperia Mini Pro? i tried flashing via fastboot but didn't work. this method worked like charm in my previous phone.
fyi: bootsplash is image appears before bootanimation.
any help is appreciated. thanks in advance.

For stock ROM, not that I know of.
Currently ICS stock kernel seems to have that modification(if I remember correctly), but it will not work with stock GB ROM.
is it not tha boot splash yhu wanna change??? jus get a zip file of yur desired bootanimation & copy to data/local.... apply permission & reboot.... rwxrxxrxx

just get a kernel compatible with tha ROM, each kernel has its unique splash but i dont know how to edit it.....

I used your wolkmen apk and some other with another mod and make some mix im sorry i did somethink wrong i do this because all walkmen mod not work fully on my rom and u guys want delete this post delete im sorry for all i only want share this to people have the same problem of me

i dont think there is any other way except from flashing..
There is no need for rom wipe, just flash only baseband with flashtool.

For GB i think 64 is the best.Previously tried bb 85 and my phone and it stucs

Which ROM are you on? I've heard 77 is good for GB which is why I moved from 64. Is this wrong?
I am with stock GB .60 and i have problems with bb 85 ,but I didnt try bb77

It's not same for everyone.
It depends on your tele operator, signal.. some might have better signal while someone worst, same goes for battery drain.
Test them and see.

there is no difference in basebaand of these phones

for over clocking u need a kernel that supports overclocking
for install custom kernels u need to unlock ur bootloader

Flash compatible kernel or kernel provided with the rom, boot into recovery, do full wipe and flash rom.

Just flash the compatible jb kernel and do all the necessary wipes and then flash the rom. That's it.
And for the 2nd question try some yourself. Everybody has their own personal choice.
