Hello forum,
My brother has a stock Xperia U (ST25i), he dropped it while he was on his bike and it continued working for a week, and now its dead.
When connected to USB the red led turns on. Tried all buttons combinations, screen wont turn on at all.
How can I confirm whether the phone can be fixed or its unfixable ? thanks in advance
Ok nvm, i did open wire surgery and revived the phone, apparently charging module is broken. Thank you guys for the quick responses

Hello members of XDA Developers!
Okay so I`ve had my Galaxy Ace for less than a year.
Now I have a problem. The power button one day suddenly stopped working. I don`t know if it`s caused by costom rom which I installed some months ago. I haven`t dropped my phone or anything, but maybe some water got in there.
Now as the phone is turned off, I can`t turn it on. When I connect it to a charger it shows the charging screen.
What should I do. Is it possible to fix? Or is it at lest possible to turn the phone on using computer? I`m planning to give it to service centre so they can (I don`t know if actually can) fix it.
Help?
Hey guys,
Went to use my phone yesterday, never flashed or anything like that, and it just wouldn't respond. When I plug it in the sony logo flickers every 7 seconds and it won't respond to any button combination for rebooting. When it's not plugged in I can't get any sort of response.
Please tell me someone has encountered this before.
Same problem
Hi I have the same problem. Only is that the screen flickers every 0.5 seconds with SE logo.
I downloaded the repair tool but not abLe to process the repair on my phone. Nothing works. Opened the phone, removed the battery plug, tried to power on the phone without the battery plugged-in, nothing. Please help.
Sony repair wont help me. Apparently there is calcium on the magnetic ports or liquid damage in the phone; no liquid damage at all, phone was never put in water and nor any of the white stickers turned red.

Maybe due to corrupt software. Try flashing a new firmware using flashtool.
Hey guys, got some update from a repair center I usually deal with. It seems that the motherboard is dead. According to them, it seems that the battery might have been overheating and might have affect the motherboard. I'm going to try to call the sony mobile tech support and see if a repair mailer could be sent to me and going to keep you posted.
Cheers,
Gabriel
hey bro yesterday m4 i got stuck on the blue screen and before i flash i hit the reset button beside sdcard and its going on not even going to turn on at all, just red led flashing when i was charging :crying:.
I tried different ways like changing batteries, pressing power button and volume + simultaneously, charging for 2 hours but no change at all, I also tried connecting with laptop but not detected..
Do you know what happened? and can you help me? i really hope m4 i can turn it on again
and sorry for my bad english, thanks
Hey plis help me guys :crying:
I think you need a reball you cpu only. This is not a software problem.
Hi everyone,
I used a month ago my redmi note 4 before the job without worries.
During the morning I wanted to watch something on my phone and no way to turn it on.
Having charged the phone all night, I tell myself that this is not a charging problem.
I tried to restart my phone by pressing the long power button, recovery or fast boot and despite these 3 manipulations there I see only the notification led that lights up red intermittently as the power button is pressed.
I tried to find solutions but no way to find something that would change things.
I used revengeos for a month so it should not come from improper handling.
Can the phone be cracked like that when it worked a month or is it just a fault of the battery? I see only the red notification led when the cable is connected and no sign when it is not.
Battery has been changed and it's the same as before. I've bought an edl to test but no change.
I don't know if I do something wrong but I tested a lot of things found on google search.
Phone isn't recognised correctly in device manager error 43
What do you think of this problem and do you have a solution to offer me?
thank you in advance
Up
Do you know where I can find solutions about this problem?
Thx
Hi guys I would have (not me directly but a friend) a problem that has been literally driving me crazy for 3 days.
A friend gave me the indicated tablet asking me to do a miracle but basically I'm not God. The tablet in question is literally dead. Installed all the drivers, I started RKtool and it is not recognized, even the pc does not give the slightest signal of recognition of a connected device. It doesn't go into download mode, it doesn't go into recovery, it doesn't turn on. I left him in charge all night and nothing at all, shows no signs of life. The red LED while it is charging is there, pressing the reset button vibrates timidly once and then stops ... dead! Anyone have any idea what could have happened? Could anyone help me short-circuit it? I need to know which pins are right. Thanks
