Hi there,
I have a David Lloyd card and I need to swipe it to open the door that let's meet into the gym. I noticed that the card has a nfc chip inside it. So I downloaded NFCLASSIC from the playstore I scanned the card and it worked it read the card it came with 2 files.
So I was wondering if my phone could display those nfc files so I go the gym I can swipe my phone and the gate would open. There maybe an app but am not sure.

try to read the rules and understand which secrion is for what. Hint: the Help section is for asking help, not General.
but I'll answer anyway: no, Android devices cannot emulate NFC chips
But for instance people are paying with credit cards using there nfc in the phone is information of the credit card is shared from the phone to the card reader. My concept is quite similar I have the information of the gym card but how do I share it with the nfc reader

I believe Verizon disallowed that similar to the same thing they did to the Galaxy S3 (see article here)

Dropbox plugged the hole and discussing hacking of this is no longer allowed on XDA.
Sorry.
Hi all,
My friend bought an Galaxy S3 3 days ago... yesterday, he got an update through the kies (4.1.2 XXELLA). When he tries NFC, it doesn't work. We are taping our phones but they aren't reacting!!!
Is this an firmware issue or hardwere issue?! how can i test the NFC chip like we test other sensors by pressing *#0*# ?!
Regards,

I was digging around in the note 2 forums and found this nifty little secondary launcher. Been playing around with it and it works pretty well. Its almost replaced my main home launcher(apex) except for the fact that I can't add access to the apps list, or at least haven't figured out how to, to it. Has anybody else played around with it or found any other cool apps that are compatible?

Hi,
The antenna in the back cover is that just for 4G? If so where is the wifi antenna?
Thanks,
Bryan
The contacts on the back cover are for NFC. The actual radios are internal.

I have been waiting for the s band for a long time and it still hasn't come out should I just forget about it and opt-out for the galaxy gear? I need the best one wrist band for health and just curious does the galaxy gear have all the sensors that the s band has built into it? I know its also a smart watch but there's health apps for it so will they give m the best accurate data or what should I do? Can it read my heart beat? Does it have a pedometer? Can it measure my calorie reduction? Can it monitor my sleep? Does it have all these sensors like the s band?
