This is the AROMA Boot Animation Installer, by me
It allows you to flash it, and choose what bootanimation you want
I've made it into one .zip file, that way you don't need to download over and over again if you want a new bootanimation.
NOTE: This is meant for people who like to switch bootanimations once in a while!

BTW HTC Droid DNA bootanimation didn't work properly with my phone, as well ad Jelly Bean bootanimation. Am I the only one having such lag?
@MaartenXDA What about making bootanimation and downanimation changing in one zip?
I will even test them for you, if you wish of course

You can choose your bootanimation during the installation, not after.
Copy zip to sdcard.
Run recovery and open that zip.
When it opens, choose the most suitable bootanimation
Wait till it installs and restart

Instructions
Push the Downloaded Framework.apk to system/framework
This can be done using:
ADB or Root Explorer
Using ADB:-
1) Download adb (if you don't have it)
2)Download the framework for the rom your using.
3) Copy framework-res.apk to the root of your sdcard. (Then Unmount sd card from computer)
4) Extract adb to c:\ and run cmd.
5) Type the commands:

adb shell
su
stop
mount -o rw,remount /dev/block/stl6 /system
cp /sdcard/framework-res.apk /system/framework/framework-res.apk
reboot
exit
Root Explorer Tips:-
Make sure to be in RW mode while doing this or you will not be able to Change the Framework and will have no change in the Animation
Reboot after Changing the Framework...
WARNING:
This only works with the versions specified above, if you try it with any other rom or version i'm not responsive for the soft brick.
TO ENABLE ANIMATIONS GOTO SETTINGS>DISPLAY>Animation>ALL ANIMATION

All of us have seen the stock myTouch 4G boot animation as well as the Beats by Dr. Dre
How about a combination of these two, sounds cool........So here it is, a boot animation combining myTouch & Beats.....
Now includes Boot Animation & Shut down Animation. Boot audio is optional.
I included the script to enable boot audio on CynogenMod, so you can use any .mp3 file as your boot audio.
Download the Version based on your Rom
Sense 3.0 based Rom - with audio & without audio
Sense 3.5 based Rom - without audio
CynogenMod based Rom - with audio & without audio
Procedure to install via CWM Recovery
1. Download the Flashable zip file from the above list.
2. Do a Nandroid Backup.
3. Reboot into Recovery & Flash the zip.
4. Now reboot & enjoy........
The MIUI version is here. Use this link. This is a .mtz file so just run it, it will do the rest.

I just made a flashable zip with audio, it now includes both Boot Animation & Shut down Animation.
So, even if you tried my first previous version or not , do try this one & tell your suggestions.

his bootanimations and downanimation are not named correctly for TDJ's Darkside Runny... both of the files need htc_ in front of them ie: htc_bootanimation.zip
So if I apply this to the latest 3.1.0 rummy it should work . I think I have the sence 3.5 now.

This version is based on Virtuous Unity Rom & is made flashable.
If you need this boot animation with music for CyanogenMod, I will make it for you.
If you need something special, just inform me about your preferred Boot animation & Boot music.

The freaking instruction manual
I need you guys to follow these carefully or else!
For ICS UsersWorks for Hboot 1.24 and below.ROM flashing procedure step 1
Code:
1.Extract the boot.img inside the zip file to the folder or location where "fastboot.exe" is present.
2.Copy the .zip file onto the ROOT of your SD Card
3.Reboot into your desired ICS recovery and do a "wipe data factory Reset."
4.Click on "Install Zip From SD Card and choose "Sense.Revolution.zip"
5.Oh you know what to do next :p click on "Yes" and let it install.
--------------------------------------ROM Flashing Procedure Step 2

1.Now go back to your fastboot folder.
2.Windows Vista/7/8 users
*>Hold the "Shift Key" Down and right click on the folder and click "Open new command window here."

I plan to release a stock odex version in next two days as I notice some users do not have/make nandroid backup for the latest software version 2.20.405.1 so at least they can use the ROM to revert to stock JB ROM.

Hello Guys! '
I am here with my creation boot animation for Xperia SP(C5302/C5303/C5306).
This is the Most mesmerizing and beautiful boot animation like cosmos etc. :laugh:
It contains the best boot animation for your device! With sound!
If you own a Xperia SP rooted with original stock rom JB 4.3 any build version (locked or unlocked bootloaders doesn't matter) you have two ways to install the boot animation. In custom roms it will also get installed. This boot animation is for Xperia SP only.
Unfortunately on custom roms I don't know how to add sound I am using Vanir AOSP but no sound is coming during boot If anyone knows hows to fix this then please help
1) Download and save the "bootanimation.zip" folder onto your sd card
2) Open root explorer or root browser (your preference) and migrate to the zip wherever you placed it.
3) Copy it and then go to root folder "/system/media". There you will see a zip named as "bootanimation.zip" if you haven't yet altered it
4) RECOMMENDED BACKUP THE ORIGINAL BOOT ANIMATION IN CASE IF ANYTHINGS GOES WRONG! Simply copy that "bootanimation.zip" which is inside "/system/media" and paste it anywhere safe onto your phone or computer.
5) Paste this downloaded "bootanimation.zip" file and replace it after backing up original animation.
6) MOST IMPORTANT :- Tap and hold the zip file after pasting and open permission option. You will see this (Image attached) Just check the oprions in image and voila! reboot your device
OR
Download Boot Installer from Play Store and migrate to the downloaded "bootanimation.zip" select it and select install :silly:

For custom ROMs like AOSP, CM11, bootsound have to be in wav file outside the zip. And bootsound option need to be enabled in build.prop.
Dont know where to put it, how to name it, what changes to build.prop you have to do, but I've found a time ago a thread about this on xda or CM forum.

Yeah you're right Everyone has their choice as for me if I tweak my phone then why to leave boot animation after all it's the starting part where you can feel the power of an unlocked mobile device

Hey guys, I successfully ported CM12 bootanimation. (Atleast you get to use the bootanimation of CM atleast, if not the full ROM )
Requirements
1. Bootanimation4U flashed or a ROM whose default bootanimation is NOT Samsung's stock and hyperion. If that is not the case flash bootanimation4U.zip first (search in previous threads).
Procedure
1. Download bootanimation.zip.
2. Copy it to phone.
3. Place/Replace existing bootanimation.zip with the one you put it in your phone in previous step in /system/media.
4. Set correct permissions (rw-r-r).
5. Reboot and Enjoy.
