CyanogenMod: SMS Widget/QuickReply BUG. - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
CyanogenMod's tracking bug URL is dead, so I'm gonna report a bug here, if someone know how to fix it, or can contact developpers..
When you have seen a SMS using QuickReply Popup, and also when you pressed "Read", in the SMS Widget the message is still marked as unread in white. It's realy annoying, you have to reopen it using Widget or App to stop LED notification for example...
That's it, thanks in advance :good:

Try to reinstall the widget.

It's not a bug... it's the way it is now since recent Maps' updates.

I'm not wrong, you're flashing an old lib file. If evolution is moving forward, you're regressing. Maps behaves this way on both the Google Nexus and Nexus 7 (with official JB)... it is intended.
I also find your version of English hard to comprehend... might I be so bold as to suggest your consideration of Google Translate in future posts?
You sure it works this way in the Galaxy Nexus and Nexus 7?

On my Nexus 7 and Galaxy Nexus, yes. If it bothers people, of course, flash the old lib file... after all, it is a #firstworldproblem.
are we really discussing a flashing blue dot?

no. it's much more about (3d)-compass-view. and it doesn't only affect maps, but navigation-apps - navigon pedestrian-mode, e.g.

There is a keyboard and Sms app that support Emoji, can you port it to GS2

Hello,
Some develper here in xda made the stock keyboard and Sms apps support emoji for the GS3
can someone please help port it to our GS2 please.
The keyboard : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1929771
The sms : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1922104
Thanks.
I'm sure a dev will have that ready for you by tomorrow (given devs generally have nothing better to do than sit around & wait for requests from lusers )
wow, great answer
I don't understand how you became a Senior Member with 1235 people thanking you.
because all I see is a looser who think he is better than everybody else. and you want to get paid for your themes and tweeks
get out of your parents basment and get a job loser.
and I didn't ask for this port for me only, people ask here all the time so developers "REAL DEVELOPERS" can help other people.
no thanks to you.
But they do not accept orders for things like this. They have no time for it.

So flashing it that way won't work.
And the MMS app you mentioned is an app which was modified by Smando and created for stock only.
Stock is not equal CyanogenMod.

[MOD][XPOSED][4.0+] Transfer huge files with Bump v1.0

Hi everyone,
This is my first android app, so please be gentle
I was using bump a lot lately and found the 20MB limit a bit annoying. In their FAQ they mention "We limit the file size because larger files take a much longer time to transfer. We want you to have a speedy and great Bump experience!". Well, yes, naturally. The bigger the file, the longer it will take. But that's exactly what I wanted. So I made this small xposed app that removes those limits.
Have fun and a googleplex of thanks to rovo89!
Hi what exactly does this app do??? Um sorry man I just don't understand your description

You can now send files that are above 20mb using bump after you install and activate this module. Can't use it without xposed framework.

Yep. Thanks for answering
If someone is interested, I could do something similar with whatsapp or viber. I don't think it's going to be too complicated.
Does the recipient need to have the module installed as well?
Also, it'll be great if you could whip some up for whatsapp and viber.

The recipient doesn't need to have the module installed. It's only checked when a file is being selected.

Just had a quick look at whatsapp, but I don't think that it's a good idea, since the files are being transfered to a central server. I've got a hunch that people might get banned if I start to lift that limit.
I think that viber is more 'peer-to-peerish'. So I guess that the next one will be viber

Ahh... ok... I really was confused. It's been a while since I used gingerbread . Since the xposed framework only officially works with jelly bean+, I though that I would apply the same restrictions. But I it should very likely also work with anything lower than that.

You should add this to the xposed repository as well!
Thanks

[Q] Email App with Conversation/Threaded View

I upgraded my S3 to Kikat 4.4 but I miss the stocked email version from Android 4.3 which has conversation view. This is very useful to me having 300+ emails a day. I have tried other email apps from PlayStore but havent seen a good one. Is there a way that I can port stocked email from Android 4.3 to 4.4. Please help.
Anyone, please.

The possibility to install the APK of the Email app would be low. There might be libs and other stuff attached to it.
Thanks Gokulbalram. I seems there is no way.

You could although just try getting the apk from a ROM and move it to /system with the right permissions. You may luck out!

I already tried that but got some errors. Maybe the file came from Samsung Stock base ROM and I am installing it to Cyanogen.

I came from that ROM (S5) and love it's email implementation but I find it too slow. I installed Temasek' V72 coming from that ROM. Kitkat is snappier but default email sucks. Are you on S5ish? What did you do to make it work fast?
