Where would the HTC sense keyboard be located if you know and don't mind because when I try to put a different jb keyboard apk in my Rom (themed) the HTC sense keyboard in settings language and keyboard disappears. I want to put it back using root explorer once I put the HTC imeapk in system apps. Thanks for your input

In the above post. I'm referring to language and keyboard in settings. It keeps disappearing when I change the HTC ime apk. I've never had this happen. I'm adding a themed keyboard setting permission, reboot, and then this happens

Do a search, plenty of tutorials on the site. Just as a quick helpful thing, use xdaAutoTool I think it's called and decompile the app you want to mod. Then, find where it decompiled it, and most of the icons and things will be in /res/drawable or /res/drawable-hdpi. Some of the colors are also in the /values folder in .xml files.
Here is a Tutorial I wrote up for another member.

Not sure where the thanks buttons at on thus app but thanks

It's not necessary but just hit the menu touch button on your phone and there is an option to view in browser and it can be done there.

In that tutorial it assumes that you have installed Android sdk,Java, and apktool, have them in your path and installed the framework files correctly to apktool

Why is it that the security lockscreen have a black background instead of beaing transparent so you can see your wallpaper it was on my og evo can anyone help me on this i really hate that black background.
This is how i want it to look
Super-quick, but stupid solution:
install any ****ty and simple lockscreen from market, apply it, choose a desired wallpaper in it, switch back to Sense 3.0 lockscreen.
Didnt work for me

In order to fix that you would have to go and edit the XML...
which xml
add me on gtalk [email protected]
I believe if you change the image to common.glance.bkg.png in htc.resources it will change that image. I've don't it in sense 3.5 it will change a few other images too though. Actually I did it on 3.0 also I think lol
what else does it change and what do i change it to

Easiest way I know is to use the app folder organizer. It has an option to change the Icon. Then instead of putting the app on your screen, you put the folder organizer quick link to that app.

Is there anyway to theme apps on the go? Meaning replace some icons, images with the phone....
Sent from my PG86100 using xda premium
Nope you need to decompile the apk and change the files which cant be done on the device.
You could use a custom launcher to change the image it uses for the icon but it won't actually change the apps icon

That's better...thanks for this
I know the title say what it says but for giggles I tried on cleanrom..yeah thats a no go. Black screen on reboot. Oh well.
Installed on Beans 4, I cannot seem to get the multi Window to work. Other than that it's a very cool mod with lots of potential. Really liking this mod. Thanks!

Not quite sure what was changed in the service jar that broke multi window but here
Flashbarservice aka multiwindow fix. Not themed sorry

I will work on theming flashbar as well as hooking LiDroid for custom toggles. Give me a bit. Let me know if anyone else has problems

I am really interested in trying this but scared on the time it would take to fix if I don't like it. Also what would this take to make it flashable?
Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk 2
You should be able to just long press on the back buttton and the tag will pop up on the left side of your screen where you can pull and see all your icons that you can use for your multi screen.

Think I found a problem for some reason what ever libe I add isn't sticking. After reboot.

You have to delete the. Bak file that is created when you edit it otherwise tweakbox will revert to the .bak
Sent from my SCH-I605 using xda app-developers app
Ok, long time flasher and sometime helper, but this mod is kicking my tail!!! Can I get some help please? I change dpi using romtoolbox pro to 240. I then move the jar file and system ui and reboot. I go into cwm and fix permissions and reboot. No luck with it rebooting. I am on beans build 4.
If any of you have any ideas, I would love to hear them.
You placed system/app/systemui.apk and you placed android.policy.jar in system/framework correct?

Correct on both. It requires me to overwrite the files that are being replaced. I am wondering if it is because of CWM fix permissions and not twrp. Which did you use?

That's weird because this will work at 320dpi. It completely changes the UI bar...there's just alignment issues at high dpi. Like you shouldnt have a regular ui bar at all.
Let me see if I can make flashable zip
Also just curious you don't have qemu.hw.mainkeys=1 in your buildprop for the softkeys do you? It should be 0 or non existent if you've never fooled with it
I use twrp try it without touching permissions
