i don't know why, but my phone's camera shutter sound has stopped working..
i've search about the issue but found nothing...
even here at xda, there's no forum about the issue...
can anyone please help me?
it bothers me when taking photos and videos...

which rom are you using ?

Some 3rd part apps are able to disable camera click sounds?

go to settings > sound > volume > chek if the sound is set to low.. set everything to high n then try!

Maybe i'll have wait for the fix, or i have to research more about it...
I suspect that some apps are affecting it, bcoz when i factory reset the camera sound is working, and after installing some apps, the problem gets back..

Are you sure you looked over ALL your camera settings, notifications sounds?

That is kinda good news right,listen when installing apps you can install one by one(install one and check camera sound) and check which causes this problem and remove it
@ taaviu: yes! I've checked everything. I used root explorer to find .ogg files.. And it is still in my system.

Not all neo firmwares have the same settings some don't have click some do but you can turn it of in camera it's self on UK firm w

yo bro... i have the same problem as you.. my live with walkman has the same problem even the unlock and lock sounds doesn't work anymore,,
i'm in the latest firmware.. .62..
im gonna do a full reset and format my sd card.. and see if it works

Settings/sound and tick screen lock sounds,this should get back sounds when unlocking screen

i did my factory reset and my sd card formated...
and everything is back to normal.. i think ur ryt, one of the apps may had been the cause of the problem,, may i know what apps are installed in your android phone..

I dont want to reset my phone again, i already did it ten times.. And the problem is getting back after installing some apps from android market.

What's new in the latest firmware?

Backup with titanium and simply restore it after youve installed new rom.
Dont forget to move your titanium backup folder on sd card to somewhere ex, pc before you format your sd card.

update your pc companion bro... i already had 2 updates,, .52 and .62... i just bought my live with walkman last december,,
but their still no root for .62.. so i suggest that just stay with your rom.. and wait for the root kit for .62.
my build no. is 4.0.2.a.0.62 its the latest firmware in xperia i think.. idon't know if the updates are all the same with the other phones..

I have a big probleme with camera on offical ICS (4.04).
When i start the video record i got freezing and say: "the camera is not available".
Why it is?
Can someone a solution for this probleme?

How did you update? You will need to re install the whole firmware. For that you need to flash the ICS Rom using flashtool, or repair your phone using PCC Or SUS.
Check my tutorial on updating to ics and faq (see my signature), and it will help you.

Hi.
Try a 3rd party sim tool from market for importing contacts from sim.
The harder option is to go back on stock, export your contacts as .cvs file, flash miui again and import from the cvs...

yes i like the z walkman port , but i think its too heavy for my xperia u , also i like to keep it simple , stock walkman player is more smooth than the z port .
i tried to download the clear audio from pimp my rom , but when i try to flash zip , it gives me an error and cant install it
is there any way ?

Hello, I'm new here, so i want to ask on how to install back full stock ROM Xperia Neo L. I've been using SMART XPERIA ROM for a months. It is a great ROM for Xperia Neo L, for gaming, multitasking, and many more. But, sometimes it lagging, hard for me to typing or swapping to another screen. I had tried to flash the stock ftf file, but after I switch on the phone, stuck at the boot logo and keep rebooting. Can someone tell me how to do it? Thanks. Sorry for my bad English.
Download flashtool and the firmware that you want to revert back to. I think .587 and. 631 is still available. I can't provide you the link as I am currently using mobile right now but you can look for ghostfreak's thread of all roms, kernels in neo l, it's on the most bottom part where you can find the,link to download the firmware. Hope it helps you in some ways..
