[Q] Modify a multi-language dictation package? - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi, I'm a Galaxy S III user..but I think that this problem is common to all JB phone. So, I hope this to be the right section of this forum.
I know that the offline google dictation is able to write "?" "," "." if you say "question mark" "comma" or any other punctuation. Unfortunately, the italian (and also others international package, I think...) has not this feature and it's very annoying change the text you just dictated every 2 words...D:
Now, my question is: Is there any way to modify the multi-language dictation packages and add the punctuation dictation feature? Where is the right folder where are downloaded these package? I found the "/system/usr/srec" folder but I don't think it's the right one...There is only the "en-US" folder inside..
If someone with more experience in Modding or developing could help me would be fantastic...and I'm sure that a lot of italian people would be very happy...

XDA & Unicode

Is XDA built with Unicode?
Is there any way to read a Chinese document coded in Unicode on an English ROM?
Thanks
In case anyone else is interested in being able to read a text file in a different language using a english ROM. This piece of software will allow you to do just that. Although you need to install a font file containing the language in question.

Changing Key's/layout of original HTC Keyboard

Hey guys,
i like the original htc keyboard, so i dont wanna use fingerkeyboard or anything else.
but i'm just wondering if its possible to change some keys..for example those smiley keys..to assign them with another smiley...
thanks in advance,
DN41
it is possible, one nice attempt by boogiecornejo here,
basically it's the matter of finding and editing few xml files in Windows folder (look for 0C09.xml, 0D09.xml and similar), more details in the thread above,
besides that you can try finding threads on lithuanian and bulgarian keybords here - I remeber seeing some info there as well
thanks for that mate, i'll try to manage that

How to add new dictionary to ICS keyboard?

How can I add new dictionary to android keyboard? I have a version of LatinIME.apk which supports typing with my desired langauge (persian) but it does not have a dictionary for that. On the other hand I have a Persian dictionary from a Gingerbread version keyboard which is in xml format. file structure is like this:
<wordlist>
<w f="255">و</w>
<w f="242">در</w>
<w f="173">به</w>
<w f="157">از</w>
Click to collapse
but I didn't find any file with similar naming system in ICS keyboard.(nor in smali or xml files.) is there any way to add this dictionary to the keyboard? or is there any way to import it as a user dictionary? after installing dictionary in device I mean.

Hi man, I'm facing same problem, I found csc folder in root of phone, but deleting default.xml does't change anything. Verizon removes other languages from system
i did it too, i don't remember the file name inside csc i think was default.xml as you mentioned, but did not change anything. and I'm not sure if they removed the other languages, are you sure the other languages has been removed?
