Don't try to install.
Do a backup of the original just in case anything happens. (Original permission is rw-r-r)
Use Root Explorer.
Replace the original UxpNxtLockScreen.apk in system > app > with the one I uploaded and set permission to rw--r--r.
Reboot and enjoy.
But I think it should also work on:
- S, SL, U, & P
- i think works with miro

you must use Xperia album and not quickpic for that, that doesnt work,
so you know why it dont work

As I promise i'm back with the .zip for stock file only! for those who want ONLY the transparent Statusbar...
V1 of this .zip will be deleted as was designed with my nick-name and other things that not all people are going to love...
Ok so here are many people that wants the transparent status bar.... first I did it with UOT kitchen and have no problems! works like a charm and its very easy in fact.... so i'm just uploading the .zip that i get on UOT kitchen that should work without problems...
First of all read this!!! otherwise it wont work.
1) Works with SK17a/SK17i
2) Before you are going to try these MAKE A BACKUP of the system on CWM <--- very important in case you notice something its not working fine and go back
3) This "cook" was made in stock ROM 4.0.2.A.0.58 if you are in another build maybe get bootlop....

- Transparent statusbar at 30%
- Changed default font for Sony Sketch
- Changed Overscrow glowing by red
- Zone for notifications are transparent too!!!
- Added JaCkEr60 in the footer of the notifications (ok if this works well I am going to quit these)

You need the original System-UI.apk and framework-res.apk and it will be back to the stock bar....

Es probable que si funcione ya que esa version solo arregla errores menores y dificulta el root un poco, el bootlop no pasaria en tu caso, lo mas que puede llegar a pasar es que cuando presiones el boton de apagado se apague y no te salga el menu directamente, puedes hacer un backup en CWM, e instalarlo y ver si jala, si jala me dices , por cierto trata de usar inglés

enter cwm recovery? if you have already installed when the phone its turning on press the down key volume several times... , if you are doing this ok and have the system files specified you will not have bootlop

100% transparent its not a good idea because in some application (like facebook) the background layer its white, so doesnt look anything in the notifications area, you will only see a white rectangle :silly:

I can see on your signature that you have ICS already.
I believe this mod is for GB at the moment.
This is a very simple rom for daily use, so there's not much to say, only that:

No it is not hdpi or xhdpi
it is semi xhdpi I mean hdpi -960x540
Try open framework-res.apk or themes on vendor

you need mod HDPI 940x540!!!
and can you stop MOD my versions?? or ask me first please! . if you want make for XP redesize all PNG's to correct resolution, i think?

Twitter app is built on previous small app framework and uses old small app services. Thats why it is force closing. Wait untill developer updates it for Xperia Z framework.
Web view small app [Name Changed to WebMall] is already updated. Install it from the play store. Now it has two icons, one for older framework and other for newer [i.e., for Xperia Z]

The small apps from Play store disappear(not uninstalled) from the apps bar at the bottom everytime I restart the device.
Any idea what's causing this?

When I try "take screenshot" it says "outgoing call blocking"
when I press ok it says something about incoming calls and restarts ???

I prefer official firmwares as my top priority when it comes to PORTS. But JB is JB bro will start a new project very soon..... :laugh:
