I tried a dirty install over latest cm 10.1 I get a fc "acore" app, if I don't fix it, I'll do a clean one, I only did it cause I'm one of those who ask for dirty installs and I know a few members will ask too, hehe, other than that all is awesome!

Known Bugs?
Unfortunately my S3 is under an RMA.
I can't try it my self.
Coming from other AOSP ROMs (never tried AOPK) testing; I'm building a check list of staff that are likely difficult to be properly implemented, given the Samsung closeness in sharing sources :crying: (I do not find an i9300 specific known bug list for AOPK).

Camera quality
Audio quality
Call quality and dropped calls
Fm radio
Wifi thetering
I'd like to have your opinion about what else to check as well as some initial feed back by who is already using this fantastic ROM.
Did a clean install, everything seems to work fine by now.
Also flashed S3 AOSP Camera 2 over and it works too.

When I go to a launcher, then I say ... open messaging
In the popping out transition, I see this really annoying white bar show up where the status bar is going to be

I notice that a lot of apps are not compatible with this ROM when trying to install them from the Play Store. Is this because of the ROM or because of slow developers? Any way I can change build.prop to trick those apps?

So far so good.
The video is not saved, camera did record it but couldn't save it. but camera for photos is good.
Been experiencing some lag initially but after a reboot Everything went smooth. (no random reboots yet)
Comparatively, this is less smoother than cm10.1 jb 4.2.2, but it's more stable than cm10.1.
Using launcher 8, with less widgets on the the main Window.
Messaging 7, this third party messenger aap caused some problems, so I had to switch back to stock.
All apps are running fine.
Over all a good experience. It just needs to be tweaked some more to remove bugs.

Those are links to the ROMs which vijendrahs kanged but there is no way to build the ROM in **this** post from source. This is a violation of the licensing of these ROMs and the rules of XDA. It's also a waste since if vijendrahs ever disappears no one will be able to continue his work. Please make the source available for the benefit of the community!

Mean you must have installed on your phone CM10.1/PAC/ Paranoid wich have 4.2.x versions.
NOT 4.1.2 Jelly Bean baseband.

To those like myself who probably overlooked the install instructions I should note it mentions to clear the cache one more time after flashing rom and gaps. I didn't do it and was getting boot loops.
I download the rom and gapps and clear the cache and dalvik, and after y started to install, it said invalid file. I try downloading again, with no results. Any advice?Thanks

AOKP is not based on CM. We only use specific hardware related code.

Just download the topmost release, which is the latest. It even has a kitkat logo in the front.

Just to let you know, those who come from unofficial aokp (elelinux/others) and just upgrade by only wiping cache/dalvik cache) can have some trouble with lost accounts and missing apps, Solved by setting back my stuff with titanium backup
So, do a full titianium backup, upgrade to official aokp and put your titanium backup back and all should be ok
So lets try this one out.
Unfortunally most of the kitkat ROMs don't have too much features.
So far, found three bugs, the percentage in the battery icon isn't working, it's showing 0%, the on screen buttons don't work, and wifi sometimes drops for no reason, other than that, very fast, very fluid, will come back with more bugs once i found them

one more for me.
video about V5.6 release flashed with DorimanX new recovery kernel , i use branch 8 of this great kernel because i dualboot NeatRom 4.1.2 rom with 4.4.2 roms on 2nd rom.
so , i use MaliV2 in 4.4.2 rom to make it compatible with branch 8.
initial rom is EHNDROIX V 14.3.26 .
at end of video, you can see Xposed framework last version in action too. This rom is great
some of "The Settings" rom in V5.5 release
shortcut "chamber secret tweaks" i used in neatrom aosp still active in this rom

You can use Gapps from rom download center, but I think it should work with PA gapps or any other 4.4 gapps as well ^^
After trying this rom its soo nice and have all features from aosb and beanstalk but the background of tiles not change with changing theme chooser like in beanstalk rom and the navbar also like in beabstalk 5 buttons not like aosb rom unlimited buttons ...all other good as first try

Did You did full wipe?
Did you flashed gaps with rom, or after first reboot?

Followup question, I noticed that when the screen is locked I can't higher or lower the volume, any fix for that? Or is there a setting that I'm missing...
There no way to remove halo icon, without icon halo won't works.
