Three root methods in the Original development forum or just read the faqs and guides .
Pick the one you understand how to flash .

Hi Guys
I bought a Samsung galaxy Ace Advance Gt-S6800
I have tried everything possible to root this device but running into a brick wall..
I tried most root.zip versions and the universal v25 but nothing is working..
I always get operation aborted.
I cant find this device on XDA either. its a fairly new phone and was released about 2months ago..
Can anyone help me with this device and or give me some info .
I want to root it and maybe upgrade from gingerbread 2.3.6 which is the default android version.. to ICS if possible..
Any help or info would me much appreciated..
Thanks in Advance

AFAIK, the SHV-120S comes with a Qualcom snapdragon chipset and the 'Exynos abuse' method of rooting may not wrk on it
PS- instead the OP can try the method in the link below and see

Clone S3 is not an S3. It's a different phone completely, that just happens to LOOK like an S3. We don't know the answer.
Imagine the S3 is a house brick and the clone is a block of butter, painted red. You can't ask a builder to build a house when all you have got are blocks of red butter.
Nice analogy

No idea. You need a red butter forum. This is a brick forum. We only know about bricks. Sorry

Simple find a clone forum or read the hundreds of posts asking exactly the same .
Answer is not found here we don't know you do not have a SGS3 .
Pointless asking the same question day after day .

I would recommend taking a look at this guide on how to root your Galaxy Trend. And for the step where you have to download Superuser use this thread to download the latest version of SuperSU. Let me know if you still have questions.
