CWM to TWRP - Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note II

Can't seem to flash back to twrp with cwm. The zip doesn't show in recovery and if I open wig ROM manager it doesn't flash either.

Download GooManager and flash it using the app.

Just open goo hit the menu button and select flash open recovery. It will pick the right one

Can't install non Play Store apps.

restore your nandroid backup and install a different Rom
Down with Verizon for locking my bootloader
but the thing is I was able to install apps (Gameboid) and then I wanted to install Amazon Store and it wouldn't let me

Cwm touch recovery

So I rooted using that great tool and i installed the touch recovery and when my phone is off and on charge is booted into touch recovery I was just wondering if anyone else's is the same

I have had this same problem ever since I installed CWM touch as well.
Try 4ext its a great recovery and is touch.

Go here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=849028 and use update.zip method to get root. Method A is if you plan to stay on that ROM and method B will give you clockwork recovery, allowing you to flash a custom ROM that is pre-rooted.

Hi, I think going back to stock and pushing the update zip into internal SD will solve the issue

If you can backup your internal SD then wipe it then put nothing on it. Redownload the update.zip again (the name for the file should just be update. Your phone knows its a zip file that's where the .zip comes from) and then try it. Don't download the .zip from your phone do it o. Your computer then drag to your phones I sternal SD card

Better than normal clockwork, I haven't tried clockwork touch so I can't compare it.
Ive tried all of tjem, prefer twrp. Goo is an easy install

I am running paranoid ROM on Verizon note 2 ...can you install Samsung keyboard to this ROM if so does anyone have the apk I would appreciate any help

There's a bunch of themed Samsung keyboards you install through recovery. Just make a nandroid backup to be safe then install.
