[Q] Question about my MOTO - Motorola Droid RAZR

hi guys, im from GT-I9100 thread. im not quite familiar when it comes to a moto droid but i just have a simple question.
my phone is from verizon Motorola razr XT 912
System version
6.16.211_XT912.verizon.en.US
Baseband version
CDMA_N_05.11.01PLTEDC_U09.11.00
Build number
6.7.2-180_DHD-16_M4-31
Boot loader shows it is locked - im from the philippines and it works for international sims...
i was able to root it but i was wondering what would be the next step in order for me to flash a custom ROM like CM10 or ETC....
i have the BOOTSTRAP recovery on it and since im not quite familiar with MOTO droids, i pretty much dont know the next step to do..
cause im quite afraid to flash a custom ROM, i might brick it or something. i know that i have to unlock the BOOTLOADER of this phone...
can you guys give me the step-by-step procedurs what to do next in order for me to get this phone going same as my S2... thanks in advance guys

The bootloader cant be unlocked. Try to look at the dev section. You ll find good custom roms for your droid without unlocking your bootloader.

ok thanks man. but i think i saw i a video about unlocking the bootloader of this type of phone from Verizon. it looks just like the phone i got right now. but anyway, thanks for the reply. what recovery should i use for installing a custom ROM to this device? is it the bootstrapper or the safestrap recovery?
-------------------------------------------------------------
1.HTC herra 110 - windows mobile
2.HTC G1 - hard bricked while rooting
3.GALAXY GT-S5570
4.XPERIA Acro S
5.GALAXY SII - current
6. Moto droid RAZR XT912 from verizon - working on

Only the developer edition can be bootloader unlocked I think. Well you can use any of them...but some roms can be flashed only with specified recovery (e.g. only with safestrap). I myself use bmm (boot menu manager).
Sent from my semi-bricked XT910...

I'm using xt912, boot loader is unlocked but you can fastboot 2 different official kernel, ICS or JB one to match which custom ROM you want to use. Me use safestrap for now.

[Q] Is there a way to add/install CWM to a rooted stock android device?

Hello,
I have several android tablets, all but one (at this moment) are rooted. I am not interested in putting a custom rom on them at the moment (mainly because not all functions -like camera- are working on all devices) but I would like the ability to do a Nandroid backup that seems to be only available with custom roms. On one device I can't unlock the bootloader (Azpen A701), don't know about the unrooted one at this time (brand new Hisense Sero 7 pro).
Is there a way to add CWM to a rooted stock android (only root applied and associated superuser/busybox apps installed)?
What are the requirements (unlocked bootloader?)?
Where to get said CWM and how to install it?
What do you mean by stock android device?
Can anyone plz create cwm & custom rom for HCL Me y3 tab??
I think you need to unlock your bootloader first then only you can install it.

stock android device
By stock android device:
--- I mean one that has the original stock rom (as it was shipped from the manufacturer, like Samsung, Motorola, LG, etc) that has only been rooted.
--- As in no custom firmware has been installed at all after rooting; this may be because one isn't available, owner is otherwise satisfied with the OS, or doesn't like what is available for one reason or another (like camera not working).

[Q] Stuck in Bootloader!! Need help.

I have recently unlocked the bootloader and rooted my moto e with super user and twrp and now i am totally stuck in bootloader warning message.
This all happened after i installed SD_fix for kitkat from playstore and chainfire 3d to optimize my graphics. After rebooting the phone is stuck in bootloader message and the Teamwin recovery is still working. I have already done factory reset via twrp but nothing helps. If any one can link me to the solution page or post via this thread would help me.....Please help ...

I just unlocked and rooted my second one for my wife today, with no troubles. Go here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-e-2015/general/guide-unlock-bootloader-moto-e-2015-t3045748
It should work fine. If it doesn't, you must have done something wrong.

As far as I've read looks like we don't even have root let alone a boot loader unlock on the XT1528
and it's not that people haven't been trying.
I originally got a XT1528 back when I was newer to custom ROMs after hearing that the Moto E 2015 had CyanogenMOD
builds, not knowing that Motorola only unlocks non-carrier phones.
Sent it back and got a XT1527 when I realized that wasn't going to happen. >_>
Unless it's changed in the last 2 months since I've looked into it.
No root, no bootloader unlock on XT1528.
Sell 1528 on olx
And buy 1521...
I did same....
