and it was successful but few apps like system app remover and linux installer is displaying root not found error!
what should i do to provide root access 4 these apps?
even in Better terminal , if ask for superuser permission the access is denied
Just Try 2 Help..
..Base on TuT "http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1196808"..
Make sure you've Flash It Correctly First..then Check in about phone the BB version now is 2.1.71..? Then Check if SU already Installed in your phone..
If the SU not yet installed..try again for "Instaling X-Recovery" Step..
aah..try to install a new version Busybox..
I've No Problem after Rooting for Better Terminal, System App Remover and other RooT Apk..
I was able to root Karbonn A37 (MTK6577) using the software from t - http://www.mgyun.com/vroot.
After the root process it instalsl this app - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mgyun.shua.su&hl=en.
This app is in Chinese and it manages all the root permission requests as well as installs its own su and some other files.
I have tried to root using many other methods available here and only the above method was successful. After rooting I tried installing SuperUser and found that su is always getting overwritten. I would really love to use the standard English version of su and superuser, but if I uninstall the the Chinese app, the root access goes away.
Was wondering, if anyone could suggest a way to make root permanent without the Chinese app and mange root permissions using superuser. Also what is this Chinese app doing, that none of our other rooting methods are not able to do?
More details on the chineese app here - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2434453

I have a lemon tab with ics 4.0.3 and 3.0.8 kernal...
I have tried all possible ways to root it... Right now the su is there as built in app. The terminal confirmed my tab as unrooted. But if i type system/xbin/su in the terminal, the terminal receive su permission. So i thought i am close to rooting it.
Pls help me to complete it fully. The su is 3.2 version. I used su uninstaller but of no use. Besides i have lost my ideal cwm 5.0.2. 4 zip file and its getting difficult finding a new one fitting my tab.
P.S i dont have a pc. I m using recovery reboot method.
when I download x-parts v7, it ask for su permission. when I select install, it cannot detect a suitable cwm. exynoabuse and farmaroot said "not exploitable". I am completely helpless.... plz help me.

It pop up error ***operation failed message: cannot write to filesystem. Mount as read/write has failed***
But I have success to my rooted TabPro 8.4 SMT-325. Kitkat 4.4.2 with Solid Explorer or Root Explorer.
Another problem is I can't install busybox.

Did you install nut's dual recovery by chance? It has busybox included and if you try to install another busybox it screws up root. For SD card try this app, if you are still rooted and have superuser installed properly it should work.

What's nut's dual recovery?
I did try SDFix already, it doesn't work to me.
The purpose I need access permission is modify platform.xml for Titanium backup and mixer_paths.xml for volume boost headphone.
I heard about a custom rom can access permission mostly, is it true? If yes, I might try flash to custom rom.

If SD card fix doesn't work and gives you an error message. You don't have true root access.
I know because I faced this issue about a month ago, I was able to get superuser access just not edit files I know because I tried to edit the platform as well, so re-root your phone and install the dual recovery (optional?) if you make it that far, run kk fix it should work.
The volume boost is meh, you're better with viper4android

The root checker show **device have rooted**
I used Easyroot. Does your meaning use easyroot to re-root the phone again? Or get another tool? Any rooting tool suggestion.
Should I unroot from supersu before re-root?
Yes I know that.. Like I said I had the same issue, you may have root access but you don't have true root, so re-root your phone. It will fix the issue.
So again re root your phone.
And for me I did not uproot I just ran the root exploit and overwrited the old su
Great! I'll try to root again tonight.
BTW, is your device is XZU and root by Easyroot.
Thanks
Nah I have galaxy s2 but posting in xzu section. Yes I have Xperia Z ultra. And yes I did the easy Xperia root, plus I have dual recovery
IT WORK !
As you said re-root device again. Access permission available and Titanium backup to extsd.
Thanks all you guys input.
Zomg don't forget to thank me, hit the thanks button. *sarcasm

can u suggest me something easy???... like with terminal....
Revert to stock rom and try the manual rooting using SuperSU. You'll need a compatible custom recovery to install supersu.

Have you reverted to stock rom? You can just do a factory reset (root access should be removed too). Install the necessary drivers. Download a custom recovery for your device (TWRP maybe, search it here in the forum). Download the supersu flashable zip (this is an older version, just update after install). Also download the latest ADB drivers (awesome app). Then you root:
(1) Copy the supersu zip to your device storage. Copy/move the custom recovery to the root folder of your ADB.
(2) Open ADB:
Code:
adb reboot bootloader
wait for the device to go into fastboot, then:
Code:
fastboot boot "recovery.img"
(3) Navigate the new custom recovery and select "Install" and select the supersu zip file, then reboot.
(4) Check root access.
Goodluck
