I really love this rom but since the version 1.4b, I cant connect to my home wifi and when i go to the settings of the phone i see baseband unknown.
I really hope you can help me.

I dont think baseband really matters in this case........

If rom based on cm9, it is normal!
ok I thought it was related whe i try to connect my wifi it say bad "internet connection avoid"...
any ideas ?

Remove all in /data/misc/dhcp

Hello friends i tried the wifi hotspot on 2.3.3 but its not working.Any one tried it please tell me the outcome
I tried wifi hot spot on my X 10 2.3.3 and it was ok. Fast.
Mine will turn on and beacon a signal but it doesn't actually connect to the internet...

Hi there, I have a similar problem where the WiFi on all 3 X10i´s that I own behaves like crap... After the 2.3.3 update they all connect to the router but they have limited connection, something that was NOT a problem back with the ****ty 2.1.
All other devices are getting internet connection except for my phones

did u try fixing the permissions thru xrec ????

Are you on stock ROM or are you using some modified stock like WB's?
Have you removed any apks?

For me.. from the moment that i update to 2.3 it was not working...
i tried other stock ROM like WB and Z... as same thing
and i didn't remove any apks

i have the v15 rom dx ginger and the v 3 naa kernel.
I lost the wifi because I pledge, turns itself off.
ie do not pick up or wifi signal or anything, just shuts down and now. I think libraries can be problems, but as it is where you will find wonder why.

I have that same problem when i used GingerDx V14..when I updated to V15 the problem was gone.. V17 is out, try to update and see if it fixes your problem

Hello.
Again, I have a problem with connecting to the wireless network secure 802.1x EAP protocol. Since version 29.2 + are the problem,trying to connect to the network and after a while disconnects. (Worked on version 29.1).I installed a different kernels because I thought it was just this fault, but nothing has changed. (Tested on siyah, void echo speedmod etc.)
Is there any advice on this? Could it be the fault of the modem? Because I have no idea, and really need this network and don't want to change this system.
I would ask for help.

the fix didnt work on lightening 2.3 rom.. wireless didnt even get turned on
After upgrading to 4.0+ on my LWW and ARC S by installing custom kernels and custom roms. :good:
I found that the network goes away again and again . when the notification icon say no network it means u need a reboot because when you go in settings and search for network its says ERROR :crying:. It is really a head ache when you wanna do some urgent call or text messages.
I have tried rage kernal , lupus kernal ,nAa kernal but all gaved me same results that is ERROR .
Baseband version is the latest (.77) still there is no network when i get up in the morning.
What should i do... please help :crying:
But on tipo everything works fine.

had this also (but only 2 times i think) simply network was broken. nothing helped ony reboot... -_-
i thought its maybe related to my HW (damaged)... but as u say ur right this happened only on JB builds ....
sry that i cant really help here, but give the baseband .86 a try its the latest and work good. maybe it helps (hopefully a bit)

there is one and its the neewest, it was shipped out with a GB update.. for our phones (last update by sony)....
i dont know if it solve ur problem's but its worth a try also keep in mind that LWW users can use also basebands from mini / minipro and same backwards even the baseband 86 is from a LWW but works without probs on my mini

Try flashing stock rom with the stock baseband. And then install custom kernel and custom rom.

You can check it now.
i think it will help you.
"Go to phone
On the keypad dial *#0011#
Automatically should go onto a screen
Press menu
Go WiFi
There should be a button there saying WiFi saving and it should be ON turn it OFF
And then reboot
Done "

Hi..you could try this modem file which is for the i9205 version from @Silesh.Nair uploads here and just go into the Modems folder and download it.
Modem file also didn't work, i guess i need to install a custom Rom maybe that will fix it, what is the best Rom i can use. Thank You.
