Phone not recognized in MTP, USB mass storage or even in download more! Help please!

I have been in vacation for a week and when today i turned back home i wish to transfer the photos into the PC, but my phone can't be recognized by my pc or other's. Even in download mode, MTP, USB mass storage...please give me some help!
I'm on Cyanogen Mod 9.1.0 with stock kernel!
Sorry for the bad english friends!
Does the phone charge when connected via USB?
If not: your USB connector might be broken.
If yes: did you change anything on the phone since it last worked?
The phone charge with USB cable and even with the original charger.
The connector is working with other phones. I thing something is broken...not software issue i think.

try cleaning the microusb port of your phone with tooth brush
Might be silly, but have you installed the driver for the phone? Try reinstalling them by installing Kies.

I will try this, i have also tried a "electric contact cleaner" in spray, but no way.
The only way is to send it to Samsung, but i'm on CM 9 and since the phone is not recognized in download mode, i should flash the original firmware with mobile odin, am i right? It will be all right for the warranty?

Try any of these combinations:
1. Ensure you have kies is up to date.
2. In Device Manager - uninstall driver (!) & then reinstall.
3. In Control Panel - click on troubleshoot, hardware and sound, configure a device.
Option 2 worked for me.

[Q] Firmware upgrade encountered an issue.

Well, I have this experience while flashing my friend's phone and here what I've done:
-reboot my computer
-connect the phone, kill all kies related process (I'm using Windows) and start odin. If odin recognise your phone at this point, you are good to go else you might want to reinstall usb drivers.
-use full wipe odin files I found from internet (I got from the pirate bay with search key ics full wipe)
-got few files in that folder. Hope you know their function. Or you can ask here.
Hope this helps.
edit: you also can try to plug into different usb port that have different usb controller

If Odin adds and removes quickly, this looks like your USB cable is dead, try flashing with another - Genuine- one
I had a similar issue while flashing my former SGS1: flashing process interrupted suddenly at 50%
A similar kind of thing happened to my phone as well when I was upgrading to 4.0.4 from gingerbread via Kies. The installation got stuck when the phone was in the download mode and I had no other option than to disconnect. But yours got stuck while using Odin. I would suggest you to flash the firmware again. I hope your phone goes into download mode now. As for the drivers, uninstall everything related to samsung from your PC and then reinstall it. DO NOT UPGRADE SAMSUNG KIES IF IT ASKS YOU TO DO SO! AS I TOLD YOU A SIMILAR THING HAPPENED TO MY PHONE. MY PC COULD'NT RECOGNIZE IT AND I REINSTALLED EVEYTHING AND IT FINALLY SHOWED SOME SIGN. MAKE SURE YOUR ANTIVIRUS IS FULLY DEACTIVATED WHILE YOU EXECUTE THE FLASHING OPERATION!

first of all, while your phone is disconnected from USB cable, can you enter download mode?if no, then try to find someone that have JIG. else, as leech4 said, this might caused by your USB cable. OR might caused by your USB port of your PC. as i said earlier, try to repair your USB driver (not sammy USB driver, but your PC's usb driver). flash using ODIN, and kill kies services from task manager as kies will conflict with ODIN later. here i give you LSJ link(thanks to ApriliaM3) in case you don't have. extract the zip and use all the PDA, PHONE and CSC file. you can even use PIT to re-partition your system. (tested and proven to be working). good luck mate.:good:
I already uninstall all usb driver , and install back, it still cant work. my hf will restart every 5 sec. that why i cant connect properly. any suggestion ?

Talk to Samsung not us.
Next time do some research into your model and info on how to flash it properley before jumping in and screwing your device up.

Wow, I suspect this kind of brick or what so ever others called it. I've read some where, and they talking about JIG. If what they mean is the same like what I understood from my electronic knowledge, then you have to find someone that have JIG to do further troubleshooting directly from your board, not via usb. Well, I'm just saying. You might want to seek for other solution first since it's your device.
Cheers

Unkown device is a driver problem possible due to a damaged usb port or damaged phone .
As you have tried all then its a service repair .

No they all tried the fixes that have been posted multiple times .
You say you tried EVERY solution = no solutions left .
Drivers
USB Port
Mainboard USB connection
Cable .
Different computer .
Dirt in USB port .
What is left is as said usb damaged send to service or replace it yourself .
Firmware faulty factory reset flash stock firmware or send to a service centre .
Phone main-board damage service centre .
You could always ask these many people for an alternative .

Is possible install a custom ROM from stock recovery?

Hi, my S3 I9300 has brocken USB port, can charge but PC won't detect it and when I put it in Download mode Odin does not see it neither (PC does detect my S2 on sync and Download mode).
It has stock 4.1.2, unrooted, is there any method to install/upgrade to a different ROM via stock recovery? maybe a modded stock ROM to flash from the SDCard? maybe a modded OTA update ROM?
Thanks in advance
Help need to find the thread : Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
Stock recovery can not flash custom rom!
What is the problem with usb?
Drivers are installed?
USB debugging turned on?

Hi, I've double check/install the drivers and cables, the PC Odin detects my S2 I727 and T989 but not this I9300 (tried Debugg ON and OFF), I think the I9300's USB port is broken, it can charge but not sync.
Accepting the possibility that your USB port is damaged, is there any reason you can't use mobile odin?

Any site to get a working cable? I tested Samsung U6 cable, Motorola cable and some other cables, all detect my S2 (T989, i727) but not this S3.(i9300).
So if it charges it must detect a S3 in download mode? or is possible that it does not detect download mode even if it charges?
have you tried different USB ports on pc, As well as different cables?
Go to service and change charging port module from your phone..

I had the same thing with my i9300 i.e. charging is fine however no sync and I detected it just 1 day after my warranty had expired. Anyway what I did was to clean the USB port to get it working back. Here's what I did, First remove the battery from the phone. Now put a fine awl pin in the USB port to remove all the lint from it. While putting it there make sure there is no/minimal contact of pin with the circuit (which act as USB jack) in the port.
Next i put some acetone on cotton and forced it inside usb port with the pin and make sort of wiping motion of cotton with pin to clean the circuit board. After that I take another piece of cotton and put WD40 on it and do the same thing as above. The Next thing, put the battery back and the USB port is working like a charm
Needless to say, if you do decide to follow my method for cleaning the port do it at your own risk. There is always the risk of damaging the phone further when you do such kind of things.
Thanks to all, the issue was: loosen port, port replaced now I got it rooted using the same PC with same USB cables I used for my S2.
Who invented this weak usb port???
