Well, I know this has been discussed before, but I didn't find a solution for it. I recently acquired a GSII Skyrocket from a friend. He said it suddenly stopped working- he's pretty wealthy so he just bought an iPhone and gave this thing to me. I'm a Droid Charge user so I'm not new to Samsung devices, but this kind of stumps me.
Anyway when I try to power it on all I get is a pulse vibrate. You can see what happens here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kYFc7IMU0pg&feature=youtube_gdata_player
Any suggestions? Do I have to send it in to get it JTAG'd? I'd really like to get this fixed so I can sell it.

You should have had the updated pushed to your phone. I would call AT7T customer service! Don't let them off the phone till they get ICS on your phone. If they give you a bunch of crap, demand to talk with their supervisor! That or go to a local AT&T store!

personally.....these developers arnt given a lot of credit on here....they do a great amount of work...and to get what a thanks?....if that?......when I liked a customed rom I made sure I donated to the dev like 20 bucks min.....it adds up and like one of them stated in a post,...read it....said to thank him to give him the motivation to help build a overclock program.......there's just not enough credit due to them for those hours.......seems most of these note users are noobs.....last thing on there mind is ok where is the donation link.....luckly if you do enough reseach one can do the same scripts and builds props and build his own rom like I did...... the key is to read your ass off here,...well not the note section...lol.....

Hi I thought this might be helpful for other noobs such as myself. I would like to safely install Ice Cream Sandwich on my Skyrocket and possibly install a new rom through rooting the device. Hey glacier, I was reading up on that whole imei thing a couple days ago... So has it been determined that it's people flashing wrong? They hadn't determined the cause last I had checked.

Im thinking its people flashing cm10 but not on tmobile... everyone is still brainstorming right now... meanwhile im layin back in the cut wating for things to sort themselves out. It has something to do with cyanogen and/or AOKP. I think ppl flashing those roms are the ones losing imei, and since those are my 3 fav roms and only ones i want to try out... i will wait patiently. Im willing to bet its user error tho. Steve Kondik is devving the CM builds himself so I doubt its an issue with the ROMs
